Good B-Day dinner with DW. The best long islands in town, free for B-Day and I think that they put a little extra in it 4 me. Only my mother and you guys other than the girls wished me a happy B-Day today. Nothing from the rest of the family, par for the course. Thank you for your friendship.

Yes, one of my favs. i like the new 46 as well. I also tried Basil Hayden brand (related, but not close enough for royalties) and really like it. It is way better than the original from him - Old Granddad.

My commemorative bottles. I'll have to get the new UL basketball champion bottle.

The one thing I can tell by this pic, is that I have never been near these bottles::yes:::rolleyes1

Impressive! the fact that the bottles are still full makes it that much more impressive. I have a few but they are empty :drinking1

Retirement plan. Plenty of empties in the trash.

I see you've put a lot of thought into this already Norm. :scratchin

Absolutely. I put a lot of effort into these.

He's a true visionary! :thumbsup2

I can solve most any problem with practical solutions.

Coloured water.

It's the real deal.

Evening...trying to get back in the swing of things.

Morning guys. Prayers appreciated, I have a customer who is on the war path and wants my head on a platter. She is making my life an absolute he-double hockey stick right now.

Her company does hardly anything with us, yet she causes more tension than my largest customers. All customers are important, but I wish I could drop them. :confused3

Prayers...hope things turn out for you.

Customer is always right my a$$

'Morning Gents!

Found out yesterday that DS (who's still baking in mommy's tummy) is already weighing in at 10 lbs 8 ozs with 2 weeks to go! Unless he decides to come earlier, he'll be here next Thursday!!!

I think I need to start allocating more to the grocery budget now. This boy is going to be big!

Hope for a quick and safe delivery.

Brent... what's this I am hearing about you potentially striking???

It was basicly the next move in contract negotiations. We are officially working without a contract now. The 95% in favour vote is hopefully to show the government we won't be pushovers. They want to inact a wage-freeze (not that I care about that, I make decent money I think), and reduce benefits, sick and vacation time, reduce wages on new hires etc, and naturally reduce budgets.

Another ugly battle ahead. Over the years we are busier then ever, but work with reduced staff (roughly 2 less people per shift). They want to reduce, reduce reduce, BUT notice they have no problem raising prices. :sad2:

And of course there is a lot of pressure now from corner stores wanting to sell alcohol too, and privatization. Funny thing is, I had a customer the other day from Alberta, and she commented that things went downhill once they went private. Things never got any cheaper, and the prodct selection went down. They claim they can keep alcohol out of underagers better then we can as all the youths smoking can attest to.

I hate this stress, last time it went to the 11th hour. If there is a strike, it'll be in the summer likely.

Sweet...

Morning guys.

Norm gave me a bottle of Kentucky's finest bourbon. I will be cracking that bad boy open when we bring the children we are adopting home :thumbsup2

My pain the butt customer sent an email demanding that our president, VP, Sales Mgr and myself be at her office this morning. I had to reply thanking her for the invite but that all of us are either too busy or out of town on business. I took great joy in sending that :thumbsup2

Have a good one men!

Good morning gentlemen.

We are getting hit by another snownomi today. Rained last night. Then in the overnight we got a couple inches. They are predicting another 6-10 before it is over. It is April isn't it?
