Anyone see UL's Ware just snap his leg? I think that having two players with strep and that injury may just end UL's run this year.

Happy Belated Birthday Aaron and Ron!

Also Happy Belated Passover and Happy Easter everyone.

Been pretty low key here, worked yesterday, we were quite busy, kept going non-stop in an effort to prove myself, think I did fine. Had an early shift, (7-4) so afterwards stopped in to visit my old store. Apparently things are bad there and theere are complaints about the deteriation of the beer section.:thumbsup2 Good morale booster for me, after feeling down on myself lately. We've had prime rib at my parents, today was a quiet Easter Sunday, kids got loads of stuff, and we just finished off a nice turkey dinner.

Working on tomorrows stat holiday, for extra $$.

Thanks guys.

It was a mad house yesterday, we had our busiest day ever. We were at a 45 min wait at one point, just crazy.
Good crazy of course.
Back at it again today.

What was the FP wait at? :lmao:

Thanks. I made it out safely, and yes, drank heavily. I do my best to stay friendly, and fortunately, the Syracuse game was on tv.

Just have to survive tomorrow's Easter with the other set of divorced parents.

I am blessed to get along fine with DW's parents (they are divorced too). The only issues we have is with DW's step siblings, who are very much like your BIL. The big difference is, (we already know this) in the end, everything has been left to us except for a few token things, sad, but kharma is brutal.:sad2:

I stand corrected". UL played a great game and heading back to the final four.

Always good to see when your work efforts are appreciated, even if no one will recognize them with a raise while you are around.

Raise? Government wants to impose 4 year wage freeze.:sad2: Plus I've maxed out on salary, at the highest limit I can go.

Not to mention, all those efforts went to a store and manager where I'm no longer a part of, nor affects any appraisal. :headache:

again, more spelling corrections. your looking at the shooter cindy, you have to turn your head.

Hey now...easy with the Cindy comments! Don't be hating on the world's best hockey player!:goodvibes

BTW...fun fact...The Pens win streak is at 15 games. The Flyers total wins thus far...14.

I haven't had a raise in that span as well. I hear ya. Currently, my work is going thru early retirements and then layoffs to clear 10% of the budget to offer raises to the administrators. They even said it in an email.

Ditto that!. Hope everyone had a great day. I'm sure there were a lot of great family moments as well as dysfunctional ones. I fortunately had more of the previous than the latter but in the end, had both:headache:

My brackets were DOA, but i was still optimistic at have the correct championship teams. That went out the door when Michigan trounced Florida.:confused3

CRUD x 2. My hope is to survive until the week of the 4/22 when I may have a day or two of downtime.

My dream of a SU-UofL rematch may come true. At least my bracket isn't the worst out there. I set high standards for myself, to not finish last.

Hope all dads and families had a great weekend and hope April treats you well.

Evening all, I hope you all had a great Easter.

We travelled about 600 miles today. Not quite as far as we hoped but got hung up with a couple of accidents in the Carolinas. One held us up long enough to listen to some of the pre-game, the first half and a bit more while we crawled along at about 5 miles an hour.

The FIL thinks he may have a rear bearing going on the rear wheel. Luckily their is a chrysler dealership about 2 miles from where we stopped for the night. Could be a long day tomorrow.
