Zero tolerance, huh?? Maybe folks will realize the 95 isn't the posted speed limit but the actual interstate number . We're heading down on Tuesday for a short week.

CRUD. 60 + pages behind and no chance to catch up. Trying to wrap up a $150K grant proposal and field work season is underway. If I get the grant my life will just get worse but the Ivory Tower will be happy. If I don't get it my life will be simpler but the potentates won't be happy.

Prayers for those in need, welcome new guys and congratulations to those deserving!

SU is giving me another shot at heartbreak again.

Tired of hearing the hype and these bandwagon Hurricane fans. Glad Marquette shut them up big time. Tough loss by Arizona. Settling in now watching Syracuse/Indiana. ?

Another defeat. I had Miami going thru to Final Four. Tough loss for IN, but zone was just too much.

The only soccer coaching I do is from the parents area. Other than that I just play.

Didn't know if you were trying to coach three sports this year.

I've always enjoyed watching UK, but his recruiting illegalities do bug me. He just seems like a sleezball...

They bother me too. Currently, they don't bother anyone here because it is all about the win.

Recorded my first podcast with Aaron and Nemi Nate last night on "The Darkside of Orlando" Universal Studios/IOA, had a blast doin the podcast, we didn't even touch on half of the things to do there so def check out the podcast if you have been wanting to take a little side trip and hopefully y'all won't revoke my Disdads card for it haha.

No revoking cards for that - disdads has grown out of the original club house. Soon, there will be international growth, and then then the IPO.

So, we found out yesterday that the bank has accepted our offer on the short-sale house we're trying to buy. If all things go smoothly, we're looking to be closing by the end of April. It still means no WDW trips this year, but it also means an incredible amout of space for the family, and maybe even a "real" office for the DW, instead of a laptop and a couch!

So I'm pretty happy this morning.

Congrats. Sorry to hear about the no trip, but great news on the (hopefully) soon to be new pad. It doesn't happen to be closer to Golden Oak does it? We can all stop by for a housewarming.

DW has to work on Monday night and we're gonna pick her up on Tuesday morning and hit the road. Luckily (I think ), we have a 15 year old with a permit, and I'm planning on putting her in the driver's seat for a couple of hours so that I can chill out for a few minutes while DW is sleeping (if that is possible with a 15 year old actually doing the driving ) because I'm one of those "struggle to drive in the morning" folks and I'll need that couple of hours to take a short nap. Luckily there are no interstate changes for quite a while for us, so I don't have to be awakened by the "daddy, do I take this road" comments. I just have to hope that she is actually doing the speed limit, because you definitely don't have to worry about her going 10 over. Maybe 10 under , but not 10 over.

Good luck. When DD drives, I am probably more tense then when I am driving. Like her father, she has a tendency to have a lead foot and I am constantly watching her speed. Despite her nickname, Crash is a good driver but I can't relax when she is behind the wheel.

Of course since they are leaving the Big East and Marquette will be in the new Big East, I am rooting for the Pirate Princess's conference. That is despite growing up in Syracuse.

Thanks Norm, Glad to know my card won't be revoked for being a Universal/IOA sympathizer, I was 20 when I lived in Winter Park FL so universal/IOA was "the park" but I'm glad my love for Disney was reborn when my DD was born.

Road Trip!

Been swamped with things lately. I've also been hobbling around since the run last saturday. I have to wait another week before I can get in to see my doctor. running is obviously on hold for the time being until I can get this taken care of.

Thank God I'm not the only one, I started to use a cane to get around. Waiting for the Doctor to call me back. We'll get better James! Oh yeah, I started over in the last thread.

DW has today and tomorrow planned with divorced parents. Ah, the holidays, where I get to spend time with BIL & his bunch four times a year who live less than 1 mile away and hate us. The precious covenant of family that favor one kid over the other, and give the son tens of thousands of dollars to pay for school, vacations, vehicles, clothes, and food, but nothing to the daughter. But, when they need an errand, they call DW for to jump thru hoops, cancel our plans, make arrangements, and take care of it. 13 years of holiday hatred. Rant over. Hope you all have a good one.

At least we have a zoo trip booked to meet up with David and his family (pun intended). I'm hoping we can work it in to meet up Philip as well.
