The Heat and the streak are on the ropes. Mixing sports metaphors again ownage.

I will not be stepping foot into that ballpark next year. The only exception is if friends visit and they want to catch a game. It is going to be ugly. They even stopped sending me emails asking to renew my tickets.

I'll go if you buy me tickets and plane tickets. Or, I get that camper down there.

Made a trip to Pop Century this afternoon to meet another Dis friend and had a look around the Art of Animation. The place looks pretty sharp.

Heading to the flower and garden show tomorrow.

oh ya, i didnt get enough of your cold canadian air the last 4 months, ill be up tomorrow. no, i need to get a passport. i have my "goods" shipped (smuggled) across the border. in fact, i have to get up to see my buddy, he has 2 of them for me. i have been eating jif lately.

Thanks guys, main reason I have been away from the boards so much was to focus on her, it's nearly been 2 years since I got full custody and almost a year since she's seen her mom. She's everything to me and she doesn't deserve how things happened but she has adjusted well, she's even looking forward to starting school in Aug.

Just keep on being a great dad.

Coached DS in his first volleyball game today. We lost 3-2 but the other team was using a rule modification that allowed them to use a catch on the second contact. I was impressed with DS's play, he had 3 blocks and a couple of kills during the match. I guess watching me run practices for years rubbed off on him a bit. It also helps that he is 5'9" in grade 6.

Basketball to volleyball. What is the next sport?

Everytime I buy or win something that is far in advance or not knowing for sure what you will actually see, is kinda exciting seeing how it all pans out, mostly it's the wait that gets you, it usually turns out to be a fun time

Now, if you could just get us those winning lotto ticket numbers.

It's all about the small victories in life...

I had a meeting that I was supposed to attend Friday morning that was canceled yesterday when someone finally came to the realization that they'd scheduled a meeting on Good Friday. I had a meeting tonight to go over a contract that I had been dreading, but just got a call to cancel that meeting and he'll just mail me the paperwork. I deleted that one out of my phones calendar app, and now my front page reminder has nothing on it. I don't think it has ever been clear. No meetings or after work things scheduled until April 12. Is it wrong that I'm just absolutely excited about this??

Only 2 more days until the weekend!! Next week starts Springbreak down here, so the wife and the girls are going to be visiting the grandparents from Sunday to Wed. Driving back from WV early Wednesday, and doing laundry, repacking, and leaving Thursday to see a my wifes BF son graduate from Marine Boot Camp in Pariss Island. Plan on spending the day Saturday driving around Savannah.

Basically you sit at your table and there's this conveyor belt that runs throughout the restaurant and next to each table, and you just take plates of food (mostly sushi and desserts) off as they come by. Great stuff.

LOVED Art of Animation. I will stay there again. It may be May of 2014, it May be 2020, but I'll stay there again. It was that nice.

In unrelated to anything news: There are no video games for Xbox that my 10 year old wants to play, that I'm willing to let him play, that his 2 younger brothers will watch.

Just before I left to come down here, DW said she thinks she wants to come back this July afterall and Art of Animation was the resort she was looking at. The trip has been on and off so nothing is definite until the deposit is paid.
