Wednesday, I didn't get to shoot it, ownage.

Thanks everyone for the input. I sold it for $500. In the end, I figured it was better to save up the money for a vehicle I really wanted. Plus, we still have two cars to make it through. My only regret was that I didn't get to shoot it.

Well you know who you sold it to right. Go and shoot it now! Just don't get caught.

I remember as kids we used to swim anytime no matter how cold it was. Now I think we only go into a heated pool even when it's 100 degrees out. Must be getting old.

Woo Hoo! A new season of Survivor is on now. One of my decadent indulgences.

We watched it last night. Glad that %^#$* got tossed again. Didn't like her the first time she was on and nothing changed between seasons. It does look like it will be interesting though.

I jumed in the lake late September north of Muskoka while everyone else sat huddled around the fire. As Istood up to my neck in the wae, I realized I could see my breath...

I was invited to jump in the ocean this winter with my BIL. They do it as a fundraiser (I can think of about a thousand other activities that would raise more money than me freezing my you know what off). I politely declined and then went down and laughed at them and donated to the cause.

We saved it on DVR, but I don't know that DW will watch this season. She saw Philip on a commercial and said she refused to watch another season with him.

Still don't know what to make of Cochran. He should be intelligent and diabolical, but it's just really irritating that he is clueless and has very few people skills. And Andrea won't hurt the ratings in the male 18-30 category.

I definitely didn't need to see Brandon back. They seriously need to ban anyone with the last name "Hantz" from ever being on TV again. I thought maybe after the situation on Big Brother last year they might have figured that one out.

I saw the episode last night... and Phillip is definitely Phillip, but his whole idea of trying to be a Boston Rob disciple is just ridiculous. He's nowhere near as smart and doesn't have the personality for it.

I didn't mind watching Russell. With him you knew what he was and he didn't try to be anything else. Brandon is just wacko.

Ok, I'm going to say something I never thought I'd say.

I'm going watch CSPAN2 today...

I just found out one of my neighbors is going to be speaking to the US Senate Committeen Agriculture, Nutrition & Forestry today at 9:30. She and her husband farm, and she is a regional supervisor for a crop insurance company. She is speaking about the drought we had this summer.

Let's hope it doesn't happen again. Are they looking for aid or some type of government action or is it just a "state of the industry" type discussion?

I'm really not sure what it is... and actually, I think the information I got was wrong. They're talking about cyber security or something like that on CSPAN2. I know the ag meeting started at 9:30, but it looks like it doesn't come on TV until 11. Watching online right now.

Hope everyone has a fgood Valentine's Day, and stay out of the doghouse..

I'm gonna just start having my mail delivered to the doghouse.

She sends me on errands yesterday when I was on my way to pick up a card then tells me to come straight home so we could go out to a movie. No time for a card purchase. And if the card isn't the first thing she sees on V-day, it's worthless. Not sure how to salvage this one.

On a side note, my son made me a valentines card with the word "Titanic" on it. There's a picture of a sinking ship. Not sure what that means, but maybe he knows something I don't.

I am off work today. I was on call the other night and trying to do a lumbar puncture on a patient who might have meningitis an they were very confused. Started kicking and thrashing around and while trying to keep her from hurting herself I got hurt My back was in such a mess that last night I lost use of my right leg. I have had muscle pulls in the past but nothing like this time. I feel like I have been kicked in the familiy jewels in addition to the back pain. The muscle relaxers have helped some this morning and I can at least roll over and get our of the bed

Sound slike your son knows you dont have a card for your wife ...I did something a little different this year... I got Shari some chocoloate cover strawberries from Edible Arrangements...look and see if you have one in your area...this day is not over and can be saved

Hmmm, awfully quiet in here today. You guys must all be out doing preparations for your over the top romantic evenings.

DW found out she has to teach a couple extra classes at the dance studio tonight so I'll have dinner ready for her when she gets home at 9 o'clock tonight. Steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. She's not big on romance so I don't have to try too hard (no gift exchanging). Everytime I try I just get a look, and not the come hither kind.

We have dance class and basketball practices. I'll be lucky to see the wife before 9PM tonight. Have some chocolates and will pick up a card on the way home from work. By the time we are both home it will be nap time on the couch. That's romance I tell you.

Every year Melody and I say we aren't buying each other anything for Valentine's day. Of course that doesn't include a card. So this morning, I get a huge bag filled with candy, some scratch offs, and a 12 pack of Bass & a 6 pack of Guinness. She said I haven't had a black and tan for a while and when I had one with the guys in Epcot during the DDCC, she remembered how much I liked them. I do have the best wife ever!


I did have something up my sleeve though. I bought Melody & Juliana bracelets that David (or was it Kim???) made. And they arrived today! But I still ended up going out to the store and bought her flowers.

He was leaving today so I am guessing that means he gets there tomorrow. It is a 23 hour ride from here straight through to Disney. He is a few hours south of that and the Pirate Princess is a few hours from us so I am guessing 18-22 hours or something like that? I hope he brought his mittens. Up here it is supposed to be 20's and 30's over the weekend, probably a little warmer there.

She's definitely a keeper. We discuss not getting anything as well. That usually means I don't get anything, but there better be something presented upon return from days events.

Ditto. But then she got mad at me a couple of years ago for spending too much money on flowers from a florist. So now she gets a card and some flowers from the store. I was a little more tricky and got them yesterday, and went out early this morning and got them out of the truck so they were in the kitchen when she got downstairs to get ready for work.

I didnt get flowers from a florist this year either...and I didnt get roses...I went extra cheap and got red tulips from Kroger and brought them home and put them in a vase I got her some chocloate coverd strawberries from edible arrangements and she walks in this evening with my gift...chocolate covered strawberries from edible arrangements
