Thanks. I was really proud of them today. First time I didn't coach them, so I enjoyed watching them figure it out. Well, I still coached from the stands, just not from the bench.

Be careful with that coaching from the stands thing. Don't become one of "those parents."

Since I consider all of you family, I wanted to let you know that my father passed away this morning. Please keep our family in your prayers, especially my DD's who have never experienced a loss of a family member.

After hours of trauma (for me, not anyone else) my beautiful little Princess came screaming into the world. Soon after she was born, I went outside to sit on a bench to ponder what just happened. It hit me that I was now a dad and this little person was my responsibility. Would not trade the last 19 years for anything. Happy birthday Andriana.

good evening!!! the pub is down.
just got home from running around today. drug my rear end off to the mail.
had to work this morning till noon. thursday when i was in the office i had my "review". we dont have formal reviews, just a closed door talk on what you are and are not doing. i was told by the operations manager that i was going to get a raise and i was the only one getting one.
well, today the owner of the company said "hey dave, did paul talk to you about...you know"? i said (mr. wisea&%) we did talk but not sure what your talking about. mr. owner says, " your $100 week raise"?

ill take it!!!! i cant complain, they pay all the family health insurance for each employee, we dont have to pay a dime. get a new van evey three years and they pay for the gas and everything, i just drive it.

tammys thinking of ways to spend it. thats ok, she makes more then me and hers comes up in march so ill get even.

A subject dear to every DisDads heart BACON, I was able to score 5 lbs of Maple flavored bacon for a mere $10 I never had maple bacon before, so I cooked up a pound last night on the grille, every time I went out to turn the bacon I thought I was making french toast by the smell, I'm glad there is not a dense forest behind my house for it would have attracted a bigfoot

I have come to the conclusion that I like maple bacon it is quite tasty

Home from basketball. Both dds did great. Apparently, oldest played against the strongest team in the league last week. Today, her team cruised to an easy win. She only scored four points, but set some crushing screens (actually the only player to set screens on her team) and played some great defense. As for youngest dd, another dominating 20 point performance. She does not like to play defense as it makes her tired for her offensive game, but she did step up with a few steals and block shots today. The other team's players and their parents were groaning about having to play against "that kid". I finally realized they were talking about my dd.

Congrats to the girls, hopefully DS will do as well tomorrow.

That sucks. I keep going from feeling better to sick again. Hope she kicks it soon.

After another nap she feels somewhat better, but still got a fever, literally just re-dosed. DW is making her another slice of toast and peanut butter since the first one stayed down.

Just chilling now, with hockey on the TV, but DW is finding something else, so I'm switching to the live webcast of it.

I need the extraction team. Oldest dd is having a sleepover for her birthday with two 11 year old girls - twins. Youngest dd is having a sleepover with her friend for making all As last quarter in school. There are 5 girls age 11 and under in my house. They are all giggling at the same time. HELP!
