I know that place! We all know the Fortress of Solitude is not in Canada. It is in the Arctic. Can't you just show us the igloos and be proud?

You will notice that this map clearly indicates it is located within the boundaries of Canada.

Good start to the Holidays...

A friend of mine just came in my office and brought me a couple of bottles.

Not sure what's in them, but the fact they are in bottles mean it can't be bad!

Details to follow.

The only thing going on today is our customer appreciation Christmas dinner. Not exactly work. Basically I get to sit and eat pulled pork until they have to roll me out the door.

Thanks for taking one for the team :thumbsup2

Just a heads up guys, there is a very important football game to be played this weekend. Here is a preview:

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 18, 2012) Coming up in a week 16 DISDads Fantasy Football intra-divisional rivalry, the 19-18 Duckburg Ducks, who hope to extend their 7 game winning streak, play the 19-18 Tortuga Cowboys.
Jones, Julio ATL WR
Julio Jones

Duckburg Ducks were led in week 15 by a 31.50 point effort from Dennis Pitta, who beat the Denver Broncos defense for 125 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. In addition, Ryan Mathews was not injured before the start of his week 15 game, and contributed 6.00 points, but he's now on the injured reserve, which will prevent him from contributing at all this week. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Duckburg Ducks can expect a 23 point effort from Julio Jones in week 16, who is expected to beat the Detroit Lions defense for 110 receiving yards and 1 receiving TDs.

"We match up well," Duckburg Ducks coach Nathan Trent (trennr) said.

Tortuga Cowboys were led in week 15 by a 22.10 point effort from Calvin Johnson, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 121 receiving yards. In addition, Kendall Wright was not injured before the start of his week 15 game, and contributed 6.10 points, but he's listed as out in week 16 due to an injured ribs , which might severely limit his fantasy production. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Tortuga Cowboys can expect a 32.5 point effort from Cam Newton in week 16, who is expected to get by the Oakland Raiders defense for 230 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 70 rushing yards.

"We can't take these guys lightly," Tortuga Cowboys coach Darcy M (declansdad) said.

Morning guys,

Last night the Pirate Princess Pirate pulled up her grades for the first semester. Straight A's. Really proud of her. Next semester is going to be a bit tougher with Calculus and Biology.

Hey guys...school is on Christmas break now. I went to Laurens class and served Christmas lunch to them...man it smelled so good..the parents in her class are good cooks. I was afraid to eat anything because I had just left the dentist office and unexpectedly had to have two fillins on the left and I looked like I had Bell's Palsy in my face :rotfl2: I tried to take a drink of something and I was not able to feel the cup against my face...it was not pretty :rotfl:...I could tell that some of the other parents were looking at me wondering what had happened since they had last seen me :rotfl: Luckily most of the feeling has come back this evening , but ....next week I have to have 3 more on the right side!!!

Tomorrow is Christmas Miracle number 1's Birthday...Hard to believe he will be 8. I will never forget when he was born and all the emotions of adoption coming to a peake! We were able to leave the hospital with him on Christmas Eve. The best gift we ever received that year!! Stuck in a Residance Inn until Mid January before we could cross state lines and come home. Oh the memories....Id go to the local TGarget every night and collect buggies that people had not put back and get the quarter out of them (we dont have to rent buggies here LOL)..Id use the quarters to do laundry each day...LOL

Have to love those Novocain after affects.

Happy belated to Christmas Miracle number 1. Couldn't think of a better Christmas gift. Beats any Christmas present I ever received.

I think they aw you coming and hid all the nice ones.:lmao::lmao:

I like the Disney background though.

This is the latest the tree was up in about 20 years. Not much there to choose from. It was cheap though. That is my Disney wall of various stuff collected over the years. It is on the opposite side of my diving wall.

No snow here. Would rather be in FL.

No snow here either. But it is going to get downright frigid over the next couple of days. Lows in the mid-forties. Maybe time to build a fire in the fireplace.

We get 12 holidays during Christmas, 5 during Spring Break, 2 for Fall Break, and then all the other Federal Holidays. That may be closer to only 22 holidays.

The kid was telling me that one of the reasons she likes going to a Catholic school is all the holidays they get off. Especially around Christmas and Easter.

Hickory Hills. A small family owned place near Camp Atterbury. They're only open a few days a week and it is always packed. They do enough business when they're open that they typically shut down from around Christmas to march every year too. It is some really good food.

Congratulations to the Pirate Princess!:cool1: Of course I'm sure it had nothing to do with you. :rotfl2: Bills due yet?:lmao::lmao:

Of course I didn't. Thinking of getting a paternity test to see if she is actually my child. Check to pay the bill was written today. It will be a slow and painful march to put it in the mailbox.
