No, but I haven't technically done any "work" all week. We get Monday and Tuesday off and then back to work for 3 days before getting Monday and Tuesday the following week off too for new years. I usually just take the week between off, but I only have 1 day left this year. Might just use it next year. We're not supposed to do that, but I'm salary so I can get away with it.

I’m not working today.
Just keep that in mind as your sitting there the rest of the day
:rolleyes1:
The only thing going on today is our customer appreciation Christmas dinner. Not exactly work. Basically I get to sit and eat pulled pork until they have to roll me out the door.

Where's the Sanchez butt fumble? That's his ultimate highlight. He'll always be remembered for that play if he never plays another down.

No snow here. Would rather be in FL.

:lmao:

We get 12 holidays during Christmas, 5 during Spring Break, 2 for Fall Break, and then all the other Federal Holidays. That may be closer to only 22 holidays. Still sick and can't add. I'll submit a request for Daisy Duke day, with a picture of Jessica Simpson from the movie.

Oh, now your just cheating. The 12 days at Christmas only count as one holiday. It's not the illness, it's the way they teach you to add in KY.:rotfl2::rotfl2: 22....26....same thing.

I can't believe someone would be at work on the last day goofing off.

:rotfl2:
Shocking, ain't it.

I really should get something done though. I have several meetings the day we get back that I need to have inputs for. (stupid work... always getting in the way of my Dis time.)

Winter solstice today and we have snow on the ground. It is now Winter no matter how you define it.

Astronomical winter runs from winter solstice, usually Dec. 21 or 22, into March.

Solar winter, the N. Hemisphere's darkest quarter, extends from Nov. through Jan. This is when the least solar energy enters the N. Hemisphere, with more than 50% being covered in darkness at any given time.

Meteorological winter spans Dec. - Feb., which are typically the coldest 3 calendar months for much of the N. Hemisphere.

I am smarter just for reading that...
