Are you guys doing a midnight madness sale or something?

It's crazy, and as far as I know, just in the Greater Toronto area, but the stores are packed each day leading to Christmas. Cartfulls of stuff too. gifts, parties, dinners etc, all wait till the last minute. There have been times we've had to close and lock the doors untill we get the crowd under control.

Had a Christmas Eve off years ago nd we were in Sarnia with DW's parents. Nothing like that at all, staff standing around bored.

Retail is fun!

Thank goodness we have a very strong midnight shift re-stocking overnight while we are closed, unloading the skids etc. Store looks full and ready to go each morning. Used to do this myself, but stopped after having the girls. Too worn to deal with that work load. It scares me a little to think how much drinking is going on this season.

We had to go in when they great Blackout happened, I imagine if it was ending, I'd still have to go in, I am sure the Ontario government wouldn't stand to miss out on that spending spree.

Well I just woke up and everything seems fine, I'm not floating into outer space , don't see zombies outside waiting to eat human flesh, I'm guessing Arizona still doesn't have ocean front property (if so then there went my Oct DL trip)
