Still got the fever, and she woke up around an hour ago to throw up a little, so another low key day today. DW is home today anyways, the teachers are in a one-day strike action today, so there's no school anywhere in the Greater Toronto area.

Hope she feels better.

Oh boy...Breakfast television in Toronto is going to have a segment on "high end gifts" at the LCBO...no doubt stuff only found in Toronto's big stores, but some will look for at our location, causing endless grief.

Rowdy Canadians? I never would have thought that. Call in the National Penguin Army for protection.

Good morning fellow dads, tonight for the first time ever, our family is exchanging gifts early because my brother and sister in law will be visiting her family in Vermont this year for Christmas , feels alittle weird but I'm cool with it. And my titans won in a snoozer of a game last night but I always enjoy eliminating a team from the playoffs though

That doesn't feel right - opening presents so early - but have fun anyway.

Could be an interesting couple of days here. There forecast is for 20-40 cm of snow tonight and another 20-40 tomorrow. That upwards of 2 feet for you guys south of the 49th.

But, Rosie from the third Transformers movie was even hotter.

I don't know, the scene from the start of the second movie where she was working on the motorcycle was pretty hard to top.

Not much on Monday night so I will flip back and forth. Not what it used to be but it still can be entertaining at times. I was never a big Flair fan but as long as he stays out of the ring he can be entertaining.

I like watching the divas. I watched when I was younger with Hogan, Savage, and even Jerry the King, and later enjoyed Austin 3:16 and the People's Elbow. Then, DW wouldn't let me watch it and when I try, I just can't find as appealing characters.

Yeah, I like wrestling, but stopped caring about Family Guy years ago, I just stopped finding it funny, doing jokes for jokes sakes.

I'll watch it occasionally. There are some that are more humorous than others.

Time for me to start saving some cash, Seaworld Parks is getting ready to file for a IPO, this could be my early retirement fund, since Disney stock is now around $50 a share

If you know someone who gets the actual first price, then it is worth it. By the time it hits the IPO, the outsiders have less profit. Good plan though. All my millions are tied up in oil right now.

We only get stuff on Fridays too. Its very frustrating. We always seem to be finding out about projects and stuff at the last minute. Also frustrated with the amount of work that seems to be designed for the parents to do not the child.

There is actually no research that supports that homework enhances learning for children in elementary schools. Dare a teacher to prove that. Just yet another example of our antiquated school system and its refusal to change for the future.

I agree but my brother was given the choice of before or after and he chose before, of course we are still doing Christmas at my parents house on Christmas for the most part just without my brother a sister in law

You probably get along with your brother. It's getting closer to that time, and I'm against this whole family thing at Christmas or any holidays. I am all for spending time with the people you want to, but not the people you have to.

Remember my mooching BIL, both he and his wife's vehicles were repoed, and MIL took $20K from her retirement account to settle everything and pay them off. That was 3 months ago. Now, he's talking about trading in one on a brand new truck. Not only do I want to be around either of them, I don't my children to be around his and learn those set of values.

I can't remember things like birthdays or anniversaries (thank goodness for the iPad calendar), but that picture is imprinted in my mind. The camera follows from behind Rosie as she walks into the bedroom.
