Good morning Everyone! I get to take the afternoon off for more work related golfing. It stinks to be me.

I think I may be done posting over on this side entirely.

A couple of days ago, in another board, a poster asked a question about an offer being promoted by a travel agency. I responded to the poster with factual information about the offer and the alternatives available to them. I didn't even explicitly say that I was a travel agent, though I guess it was implied by a reference to what I normally do for clients in their situation. I didn't mention the name of any travel agency, provide an outside contact information for myself, or in any way attempt to promote my services to that person.

But being helpful got me assessed 20 point infraction for "Unapproved Advertisement." The words that I wish to use to respond to that infraction are inappropriate for use here. Let's just say they can eat my peanut butter and drink my Beverly!

This post may get deleted, and I may get banned for posting it. At this point, I don't think I care.

I hear ya Aaron. I've lost count of the number of times I've typed and then deleted responses to post outside this (and like) thread because I knew that I would get flame sprayed for giving correct information to what is clearly incorrect. You just can't try to help folks out without getting pounced upon.

We usually do 1 paint ball event a year. It started as a bachelor party 8 years ago and we annually head out to be shot at. It's a lot of fun. You shot him twice, but how many time did he shoot you?

Not once. First time he poked his head up in a window and I got him right in the goggles. He wasn't happy.

Looks like the Browns are on their way to another 5-11 season - or worse!

I don't understand how a team can look halfway decent in pre-season and then fall apart when it matters!

So...am I the only one out there NOT interested in Disney Infinity? DW actually offered to get it for me tonight I turned it down. We don't use our systems enough as it is, as it sems like a bit of a money trap to me. Needing to spend more and more on disks etc...Maybe it's just me.

I'm interested, but still haven't pulled the trigger. DW hates it when I play games and would like it even less if I got the kids interested. I thought it would be fun for me and DS especially but he would become an addict all too quickly.

I tried this flavour called MAPLE MOOSE....I am not sure if it is supposed to taste like Maple or Moose, but I have to say it is the absolute BEVERLY of potato chips.

I had a moose steak a few weeks ago. I was told it would be great. I was lied to.

I can't be the only one who is absolutely disgusted with the "new" online Disney reservation system. All the technology that's out there these days and they use this CRAP! At least the old system gave you recommendations of other resorts that have availability if the one you chose was not available. Sigh.

You should have heard me the other day when it took me half an hour to finish an online checkout at lowes.com. I will never use that site again to order multiple items.

But seriously... Disney has all this power at their fingertips and I have to click a button just to HOPE there are accommodations? And then to see a red warning that says "Sorry... nothing to see here. You suck. Go back and MAYBE you'll find something that's available".

Morning everyone

Today marks the "official" start of my taking over the beer section at the store, although I spent quite a bit of time Saturday starting to tinker with the portfolio and shelf placement to where I think it should be.
One huge plus is that the boss wants me to make our selection a little more "high end and premium" then it currently is, in other words take out the swill and replace with craft brews. Friday morning my first wave of replacement beers will arrive, Chimay, Duvel, Anchor Steam, Sam Adams IPA and a couple of Ontario crafts that were snatched up quick when in the store, but for some reason were not brought in full time.

Down side? This means I have to tear apart the beer skids that arrive this morning. And knowing thge old guy, he ordered way more then what we needed.

Have fun. I saw no mention of Moose head or Molson.

Just imagine connecting a DVC account to it and use the MDE App. Maybe everyone at WDW will be playing on their phones trying to reserve FP+ and stand by lines will be empty.

Congratulations on the win! We start field hockey and basketball this week. soccer has been dropped by both. I found myself with that feeling like a was missing something after coaching every Saturday for 9 years. When I realized it was the 2-3 soccer games we always had and not something important I took a nap on the coach.

Well, the reason I started coaching was the little instruction she was getting. I have no doubt she would make the select team now and receive good coaching. I'm holding her back because I don't think 9 year olds should travel 4 hours for soccer tournaments on weekends. I want her to be a child for as long as she can.

On the DVC threads, they do Christmas tree exchanges or beach chair exchanges at HHI & VBR. We could start a Disdad exchange, but what would it be? And, where would it be if not directly passed to next Disdad.

I forgot to mention that DS had his CT scan on Friday. He did fantastic. The rediologist wanted to sedate him. We talked them into trying it without sedation first. He sat on the table and was perfect. It took us longer to get checked in and wait for the radiologist to be happy with the images than the actual procedure. We'll know the results at the big specialist meeting next week. DW starts her new job on Wednesday. She's excited but nervous going somewhere else after being at her old company for so long. But they are moving locations and her commute would be close to 90 minutes each way.

Funny you should mention hubcaps. A couple of the other gearheads in the office keep threatening to buy a set of the dog dish caps and put them on the car while i'm not looking. The fact that they run over $300 a set will likely keept that from happening. It was the original plan when the car was built but I kept putting it off and now i find i like the black wheel look more. Sort of my anti-billet wheel statement. They are in fact custom wheels. It originally came with 14 inch five spoke Mopar wheels so I had the 15 inch wheels built, the rears being ten inches wide. I think it gives it more of a 60s stock car look.

Aaron - I hate to see you leave here permanently, but I know I'll see you around at the Pub and elsewhere anyway. I don't really go anywhere but the Disdads Subforum and Trip Report forums anymore.

Seriously... it is a multi billion dollar corporation and this is the best they can do??? I thought the old system was crap and this is no better.
