In Canada there is current contest to vote for your favorite new "Canadian" flavoUred potato chips...

I tried a couple anf they aren't bad.

And then...:

I tried this flavour called MAPLE MOOSE....I am not sure if it is supposed to taste like Maple or Moose, but I have to say it is the absolute BEVERLY of potato chips.

I literally couldn't stomach them.

Have any Canadians here, ever tried them? What did you think?

Brent, Darcy, Nick, Terrence, Bern?

Is that what you eat while drinking Elsnore Beer:confused3

I'm still freaked that there's a Canadian flavour too. People flavoured chips are not to be trusted.

And would penguins be in your fantasy day? :lmao:

Didn't get to watch much football today, but did see some of the first half of Colts game. They are really good or Raiders are really bad.

They are still in the early learning stages. I only did a few shooting drills in U8 and have only done one this season. She'll get there. My dd (9) scored another goal in a 6-1 lopsided game and set up another. She took on four defenders and the keeper blocked the shot out of bounds. I get silly proud of her skills and mad at her for playing hero ball at the same time. If your players can get the foot skills now, the rest of the stuff will be there in time.

Dodge what? I'm hoping it was something cool and not a caravan.

That would be really cool. I didn't ask Sean that, but if another shows up next month, then I'll know.

Nope. It's a one-time bacon event but its good bacon. Maybe if we do the disdads Christmas gift exchange again, I'll come up with a cooler bacon gift.

Morning everyone

Today marks the "official" start of my taking over the beer section at the store, although I spent quite a bit of time Saturday starting to tinker with the portfolio and shelf placement to where I think it should be.
One huge plus is that the boss wants me to make our selection a little more "high end and premium" then it currently is, in other words take out the swill and replace with craft brews. :thumbsup2 Friday morning my first wave of replacement beers will arrive, Chimay, Duvel, Anchor Steam, Sam Adams IPA and a couple of Ontario crafts that were snatched up quick when in the store, but for some reason were not brought in full time.

Down side? This means I have to tear apart the beer skids that arrive this morning. And knowing thge old guy, he ordered way more then what we needed. :crazy2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Mmmmm...Soylent Green

I think its cool. The more important part happens after I fry it up.

Sounds good, but where is the PBR, Milwaukee's Best, & Schlitz?

Morning Brent.

I have a couple of very good NB craft beers I can send your way. Just sayin'.

If anyone is a fan of the blues or jazz, our annual Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival is this week. Come on up and enjoy one of the best music festivals in North America.

If you do come up you need a blues name, mine is Old Killer Lee.

Well, it depends which part. Preschool went well, but lunch didn't. He fell asleep in the car on the way over and all he wanted to do was lay down in the booth at lunch. Anytime I tried to talk to him or interact with him I got the death stare. :confused3 :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2: This going to school stuff is HARD.:lmao: Glad you at least got to spend some time with him.

I'm surprised that anyone actually listens to him. :rolleyes1

Listens to who?:lmao::lmao:

Dolphins won so my weekend was not a complete write off.

yeah - thanks for that CJ....my Browns start yet another regular season, and another home game with a loss.

Looks like the Browns are on their way to another 5-11 season - or worse!

I don't understand how a team can look halfway decent in pre-season and then fall apart when it matters!

:furious:

They need Bernie back.....:lmao:

Evening....

Been told I'm officially taking over the beer section in the store as of Monday, not sure how the old guy feels about it yet. Time to turn it around and show what I can do.

So...am I the only one out there NOT interested in Disney Infinity? DW actually offered to get it for me tonight I turned it down. We don't use our systems enough as it is, as it sems like a bit of a money trap to me. Needing to spend more and more on disks etc...Maybe it's just me.

Congratulations on the coronation! May your date codes always be fresh.

No interest in our house yet. I'm not sure the kids even know what it is. I don't play very many video games so it's unlikely I would even try it unless the kids ask for it this Christmas.

Evening Guys.

Just came back from my first paintball experience and it was a blast. DS's soccer team did as their season-ending party. 16 kids and 6 dads; managed to shoot DS twice. :lmao:

Not into Disney Infinity either Brent. We have a Wii and a PS3 but haven't used it much lately. When I did I was more into shooters and such.

We usually do 1 paint ball event a year. It started as a bachelor party 8 years ago and we annually head out to be shot at. It's a lot of fun. You shot him twice, but how many time did he shoot you?:lmao::lmao:

Haha. Good news on the trip. However, at no point in time have I ever heard paradise and New Jersey in the same sentence.

Nor will you ever again!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Morning guys. Been on and off (mostly off) the boards lately. Hope everyone is well.

I'm ready for the weekend already.

Morning Gents,

Happy second week of college football. Not as good as last week but three good games today. Worried a bit about the Gators this week. Hate, hate, hate the Canes and hoping they get their butt kicked today. BBQ chicken and pasta salad were made yesterday so that will be my lunch/dinner today.

Have a good day and weekend everyone. I will know how my day is going by 3:00 pm this afternoon.

Jus tin case you missed it, and of course because that what a nemesis does............Florida LOST.:lmao::lmao:

Forgot to mention...

Doctor's office called about 1:30 yesterday telling me they had the results of the blood tests. Called them right back and they were already closed. Gee, thanks guys. First time they ever called back with results but I am not going to let that hang over my head all weekend. It will be what it will be.

Hope all is well CJ.

You should get a second opinion.

Asked DW, she said mostly.

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

I think I may be done posting over on this side entirely.

A couple of days ago, in another board, a poster asked a question about an offer being promoted by a travel agency. I responded to the poster with factual information about the offer and the alternatives available to them. I didn't even explicitly say that I was a travel agent, though I guess it was implied by a reference to what I normally do for clients in their situation. I didn't mention the name of any travel agency, provide an outside contact information for myself, or in any way attempt to promote my services to that person.

But being helpful got me assessed 20 point infraction for "Unapproved Advertisement." The words that I wish to use to respond to that infraction are inappropriate for use here. Let's just say they can eat my peanut butter and drink my Beverly!

This post may get deleted, and I may get banned for posting it. At this point, I don't think I care.

Hey Aaron,

Don't let them get to you. Just do what most other do. Stay on this thread only and then you only get assessed when they rest of us do.:goodvibes If you don't come back, I'll see you over at the Pub.

And in other news, a successful return to coaching in U11G soccer, with team winning 4-2. I was so proud of dd - she scored two goals - but she put on a clinic of her own with her footwork. She took on two defenders on one play, juked both of them, and still scored a goal. She made some other good passes. The only time I got on her for was not using her left foot to shoot on another attempt. A very proud dad today.

Congratulations on the win! We start field hockey and basketball this week. soccer has been dropped by both. I found myself with that feeling like a was missing something after coaching every Saturday for 9 years. When I realized it was the 2-3 soccer games we always had and not something important I took a nap on the coach.

Fricking Peanut Butter, Beverly, Peanut Butter, Beverly, Beverly, Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter, Fricking Beverly, Peanut Butter, Beverly, Peanut Butter,Peanut Butter, Beverly, Fricking Peanut Butter, Beverly, Peanut Butter,Peanut Butter, Beverly, Peanut Butter, Beverly, Beverly, Peanut Butter.

Gators lose when they should have won the game handily but turned the ball over 5 times! Then it was time for dinner and I dumped the pasta salad all over the floor not 30 minutes after I mopped the damn peanut butter beverly floor. Let the mutt that I didn't want munch out but I am sure he will be crapping pepperocini for the next couple of days. This weekend needs to get better in a hurry.

Team losing and dog crapping pepperocini's.:rotfl2::rotfl2: I guess that means I had a good day on Saturday.:wave2: Continuing prayers for good test results today.

She takes too long to pass or shoot. She can out run most kids her age but by the time she sets up to shoot the swarm has caught her. We've been working on it in the yard. DS is doing a great job of getting himself into good positions but this is swarm ball so the ball seldom gets to him.

it's going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong season.

I remember those days! Enjoy them as you'll wish you were back here in a few years.:thumbsup2

Given that, I'll refrain from commenting on how the Pats played today. A wins a win, but still.... :furious:

The Pat's played yesterday? I thought that was the AAA team.:headache::mad:

Well I guess it was Moose.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

:cool1: Ordered the Photopass CD(s) tonight. It sits at 1163 pictures after DW edited. I think we got around 800 or so done throught the trip, including the Grand Marshal and Belle's Enchanted Storytime pics. Good to have that finished!

We started going through and will order ours this week. We won't have anywhere near that many pictures, but we did have some good ones.
