DIS Dads DDC XXIX: We’re Over 750 Dads, With A Disney Problem!

And a milestone of my own. As I kid, I never had an Atari or a Nintendo. But, I would go play games over at friends' houses. So, the most recent game system I have is the Wii. So, I decided to download SuperMario Brothers, and I finally got the princess.

I know - pathetic - but it's all that keep me going these days. Along with beer, bourbon, trips to WDW, dole whips, bacon, and everything else.

Dad' thoughts on this:

Would a one stop flight in Mid December going to WDW from Denver make since saving us $50 per person or would you elect for the non-stop?

The flight would change planes in KC with an hour layover making the total flight over 5 hours.

Howdy! I'm Dan, 37 year old father of three & raising two others with my lady to boot. I am a grumpy lover of all things Disney. My wallet does not listen to my intentions to save money when I find cool Disney things. Hence my recent purchase of the Disney Infinity game which will arrive tomorrow.

I listen to Mouseworld Radio when I go to sleep and make any Disney trivia game in my house less of a competition and more of a display of Disney passion. Or obsession. Either way.

Next trip to the World is the week before Easter, 2014.

Go to the USER CP (Control Panel) in the top left of the screen, and then select EDIT SIGNATURE.

If you can afford to fly, then pay the extra $50 for non-stop fly. It's only $10 per hour (or two dole whips) times how many family members?

Go to User CP, Edit Details, and second one under there. You may have to have a certain number of posts before DisBoards will let you edit.

Been a crazy day. I left work early to take a nap before the funeral for my brother in law's mother. Then DW and I stained the deck. I'm only going back so far too keep up.

It has been years since I flew into KC but I remember it being dull. $50/person is a nice savings, but my concern mid-December is you might not get in or out on time if it is an early winter.

Starting to look like I am post padding but just too far behind to go back and multi-quote. Congratulations to those deserving, welcome to anyone I missed and extra bacon for all.

CRUD. Got the 2840 broccoli in the ground this week but then rain came and the deer pulled a bunch up before we got the fence up. Behind on everything, hops got mildew and not even worth harvesting, beans drying too quickly, reports over due and found out I need to make a 4 day trip to Beltsville in late October in addition to the 2 day trip to Indianapolis in early October. Good news is our budget cut in October is only 5% instead of 7% and I'm still employed.

I am still on the green side of the sod so things could be worse.

good morning!

this coming Thursday it will two weeks till we head back down. Briana is off from sunday to sunday while we are there this time. she is going to take us to company D. there are a few things she has her eye on.

we are also going to be down over Christmas this year. bringing the tree etc.... and staying at okw. take a guess where we will be eating Christmas diner????

a little surprise for the kid. we are going to be showing up a day early for this trip. she has no idea. we will be getting there, pending traffic, on Friday around 5pm instead of Saturday at 2pm.
we want to head over to the mk and surprise her on Friday. she will be working Saturday so that will give us time to go food shopping etc....
she said she is packed all ready to stay with us at okw. I thought I got rid of her sleeping on the pull out in the living room.
being she is off I don't have to bring the Nissan this trip. this weekend im going to clean the benz inside and out and start packing it up. one of my favorite parts of the trip, getting ready!

Cool on the surprise. She's willing to stay with her parents on the pull-out couch for the week on her vacation? Y'll must have done some parenting right.
