Good Day Men! :wave:

May today be a Express Lane to the weekend for you! :)

So long as that express lane doesn’t force you off the road and cause you to block rush hour traffic in order to execute an illegal left turn while attempting to get back on the highway.
;)

I'm pretty sure I would have called in sick. Safe travels Cliff!

!
Thought about it but with the amount of work I have to finish I may not have a job when I got back. And that makes it hard to pay for the next trip. The good news it that I have put in enough hours trying to get ahead that I am on OT today.

Now who would do such a thing? We may need to ask the good Captain on the proper etiquette on how Transportation Systems are designed to optimize traffic flow. :rolleyes1

Oh, come on. You'd have to be a moron to fall for that oen.

It worked exactly as it was intended. I just wasn't a commuter. :headache:

Morning Guys, only another couple of days until I get to go home, see the family and find my own bed instead of a hotel room bed. I think I may sleep for a few days.

Good morning men. Love that the ticker is below 60.
Happy Friday :banana::banana:

I get to use my last half day of vacation! My anniversary at work is next week, so I will get two more on Tuesday. I will use those up when we make a trip to the land of Pierogi's, kielbasa, and polka!
You're coming to Nordeast Minneapolis?
Morning.
FRIDAAY.. Leaving day here. Just 1/2 day of work then we are on the road.
Safe travels.
What if I told you it was down to 5 days? Is that rubbing it in too.:) Your welcome to squeeze into a suitcase and we'll check you with the luggage. It is SW and bags are free.
:lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Great news Barry. Did they tell you what it actually was? I may have missed it. I don't have a better graphic, so I am seconding Randall.

Staph infection. If they did figure out exactly what strain, they didn't tell me. But the antibiotics he's on seem to be working well, so we're on the right path.

It's going to be a beautiful weekend here in southeast Wisconsin. Mid to upper 70s and sunny all three days. Too bad I'll be spending it on the couch with a bag of frozen peas, recovering from my visit with Dr. Snippy. Hope everyone else has a better weekend.

Thanks for the kind words over the past couple of days. As of right now, DW seems to be 100% better. She isn't in any discomfort or pain. We're still not really sure what that was all about though. Hopefully it stays away.

We took both kids back to the Dr. this morning. Today is day 5 of DS' fever so we figured we'd better get him checked out again before the weekend. Still saying it just looks like a viral illness (specifically Croup) but since he isn't showing any of the typical coughing/wheezing symptoms of croup, we're still just treating the fever and trying to keep him drinking

DD, on the other hand, woke up at about midnight coughing and wheezing. It was a long night. Since it is clear now that her brother shared his croup virus with her, we now have a steroid prescription for her to hopefully open her airways up so we can all sleep tonight.

Happy Friday guys!!!!:thumbsup2

Ouch! :headache:

Does this mean you won't be out running this weekend? :rolleyes1

Well...enjoy preseason football and the Wyndham Championship, I guess. Don't worry, I'm sure my appointment is not too far off now.:headache:

So... I take it that Mark's latest news prompted an appointment being made? :rolleyes1

Those of you playing Fantasy Football, remember that the draft starts tomorrow morning at 9 am Eastern. I'd like to be able to pick before Monday, but I just logged into the site and I see that the first pick in Goofy doesn't have a pre-draft pick set, and he hasn't logged into the site in over a month.

Yes, I'm looking at you, Jim (mm1971). :rolleyes1
