When I plan US trips its always without DD lol, maybe in a few more years ill take her but would like it if she could ride most if not all rides. Good point about KY, Norm wouldn't want me in there anyways, did recently take DD on a day trip to Beech Bend water park but they say bowling green KY is pretty much North Nashville anyways haha.

Bowling Green gets a lot of business from Nashville, and only about 1 hour away. I don't know if people are picking KY over TN - don't know whose tax structure is better. Oldest will have to get point shoes for dance this year, and the closest store is Nashville for a fitting. So, i'll text you when we plan a trip. Otherwise, you can drive up and watch some exciting U11G soccer.

Actually, she is a very good driver... it's such a shame that kids don't get to move up to the "bigger" carts until they are 16.

You won't believe how much those go-cart driving experiences will help when you have to teach her to drive. I wish that I had let mine behind the wheel of a cart a few more times before I had them behind the wheel of the minivan.

The dds started back to school on Wednesday, and it feels like this week has lasted forever. It probably has more to do with just the usual crap at work. Hope everyone has a great day and better weekend.

Morning everyone..

Crazy after going back into work after being off for so long. The store (and from what I gathered, we are not the only one)is a mess, the powers that be seems to have slashed the budget again, so even though it's the busy summer we are running on skeleton crews etc. Three people are on vacation this week and were pretty much not replaced. Stock isnt getting out to shelves, most staff are running cash, no one to put things away. Everyone is getting frustrated.

To make things worse? I'm in charge today

A week from now we should be in the Virginias somewere prepping for Day 2 of the drive, heading to a much better place. 5 more shifts to go, almost there..

We've driven thru that area, dreaming on where to retire in another decade. I don't want to be in Orlando, but close enough to WDW that I can take the toll road in everyday. I also want to be close to the ocean, so that's challenging.



More words of wisdom. Chad, there are a group of us dads who plan to drive our campers and plug them in at nearby people's home. CJ is in Miami and prime mooching material. Oscar just moved, but is still a possibility, but he has more mouths to feed. Maybe we can park in your front yard. Ever seen the movie Christmas Vacation?

You should check out Winter Garden. I used to live there. 20 minutes from my driveway to the TTC parking Lot.

Miami is a long way from Orlando! I'm much closer, but DW would never allow a caravan to park in the yard. lol

I understand , hard for me to get away too, the thought of not having an Orlando trip for a whole year and 2 months is driving me nuts, even looked into US in jan for the Potter celebration, love WWOHP, not a big potter fan but my GF is and thought it would be nice to take her to that for her first trip but we decided to wait till next Oct when the expansion should be done.

GF? That's new. Now we know why you've been off the boards so long. Glad to see you posting again more often. We enjoyed WWOHP and will go back after the initial rush of visitors subsides a little.

Leslie can't wait to get the kids back to school. We start after Labor Day. Got DS teacher assignments yesterday in the mail. He didn't complain so I assume he likes his teachers.

I prefer to be called a "relatively new fan"- bandwagon makes it sound so cheap. But since I grew up in Illinois I'll just say I've been a fan all along.

Flyers fan here. We enjoy drafting young players with immense talent, trading them away when we get impatient, and watching them win Stanley Cups with other teams.
