Morning guys! Hoping today won't be one of "those days" but started off with no Internet connection, so iPhone is all I got....

But at least I can say....

SINGLE DIGITS !!!!!

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Now that's something to celebrate.

Hey have any of you ever rented a boat at the World? I'm thinking of taking the fam for a quick cruise when we are there.

Gray fuzz on the chin isn't bad, but you have reached the top of the hill when the barber asks you if you want him to trim your eyebrows and ears.
!

Youngest dd asked what I had growing out of my ears on Sunday. Usually, I trim when I cut my hair, but I must have been in a hurry. I told her that hair migrates south from the head and out the ears. She didn't look happy.

Congrats on the boy. Not sure what this "reason to buy new action figures" means, my son isn't allowed to play with mine. :confused3

My dds play with my toys as well. Drive me crazy. I have WDW upstairs, minus the tree of life. The CR is routinely blownup and monorail batteries are dead. How dare they.

There is only a small handful of restaurants we haven't tried that we want to hit, then it's more "what do we feel like"

That's where we are. I really want to do V&A, but I find the occasional restaurant we have missed in or eating around the world. There are some, like Restaurant Marrakesh, that I don't want to try. But, I realized some others I have missed along the way, like Beaches n Cream.

I'm starting to re-think the no cable environment in our house. As football approaches I think I'm going to have a hard time dominating fantasy football if I can't watch a game every now and then. I've been considering some of those subscription services (hulu) so we can watch some shows we like, but do any of those offer live sports? Mix in the fact that hockey is right around the corner and this little social experiment is going to be tought to stick with. And DW is talking about getting a new couch! What good is a new couch (with electric motorized recliner:thumbsup2) if I can't watch football from it?:confused3

I'm with you. We are only doing around $25-30 for a small, basic cable package, but I'd be willing to cancel it. I can get the sports on the antenna, and I listen to ESPN radio while I drive. I think the only reason I haven't yet is because of Animal Planet and shows like Tanked & Gator Boys.

With all the Dad's down in WDW, I find the lack of meet ups with Briana and Stewart Disturbing!

You know, they could have days off.

It's in the mail, don't forget to check your mailbox... :rolleyes1

Watch out for Stitch.

It's not a contest, you just need to participate!

If it isn't a contest, explain this post. :rolleyes1

It's kinda like baseball without the World Series. You are participating for stats but no championship. Statistics are something to talk about.

‘
“Stacey TV”…
Good memories. The only thing watchable on the telle in the resorts.
Just as well, no sense sitting inside when you got the whole of WDW at you beck and call.

I like me some Stacey TV. I had her DVD (the free one the send out) and DW loaned it to mooching BIL who never returned it.

Welcome to old age! Next you'll have an overwhelming urge to yell at kids who walk on your lawn.
:

What, no picture of Clint Eastwood from Gran Turino?

Good morning gentlemen. I just shaved off a four day beard. Really don't like looking in the mirror and seeing the fuzz is more grey than red. :headache:
.

I have had some type of facial hair now for close to 20 years. My family has only seen my once in all that time without a beard or goatee. DW asked me to shave it off after we had been married for four or five years. After I did, she said never shave it off again. I do ugly good.

We are going to try Restaurant Marrakesh this time. Pretty much the only restaurant available for the Candlelight Processional package on the 12th of December. I really wanted the 12th because i'm a huge fan of Dennis Haysbert! I was very reluctant to pick Marrakesh but after reading tons of reviews I'm feeling pretty confident that we are going to like it.

I shaved my goatee for the first time in 7 years last week. My sons had never seen me without. Needless to say i'm growing it back. My goatee shaves like 20 pounds off of me. :rotfl2:

Did the guided fishing thing which was really cool as we went behind the scenes on different water ways and cought several fish.

Morning everyone...Staycation II is officially over, time to trudge back to work....BUT 7 shifts, 8 days to go!!:cool1:

Those are excellent numbers.

Sitting at the table and I'm writing down all the restaurants at WDW I've eaten at. It's pretty extensive, I feel, though I have no swan/dolphin meals represented. I'm love dining planning, but I'm really not sure where to go from here. Well, the benefit of planning this far in advance is the time to research. Be our Guest and Whispering canyon are on the list, but that's it so far. And mostly, I just wanted to post to say good morning.

We had an enjoyable character buffet at Garden Grove on year. Goofy "drank" my youngest dd's drink several years ago, and she still laughs about it it. Shula's steakhouse is good, but pricey.

Do you ever wake up feeling like someone beat you with a 2X4 while you were asleep and have no idea why you feel that way? :headache:

I feel that way when I exercise. Thus, I no longer exercise. I always feel good.

I'll ask the pilot to make a detour and stop in KY. If he agrees then we'll pick you up. If not, I'm pretty sure they lock the cockpit now and they frown upon customers trying to take over the flight controls.:rolleyes1

Think the pilot will go for that scene in the Dark Knight? I'll harness up and float a balloon beacon up in the air.

Really good numbers.

My youngest was maybe 2 or 3 when I did it. She acted like she didn't know who I was. I'll vary the style from time to time - full beard or wider goatee in winter. Sometimes, I'm more lazy than normal and will let it really thicken and then it has a red tint. I cut my own hair with the #1 guard every 2-3 weeks, so I can't let the beard go to wild or I look Amish, not that there is anything wrong with that.

It is just not my type of cuisine. I can eat most food, but that just doen't do it for me.

Greetings from the World fellow dads. I need Zerf to tell me where Brianna is so I can do a dis daughter meet. My munchkin doesn't think it's fair that only the dads meet. However she is a fan of Barry's family.

Howdy fellow dads, hope all is well, been keeping myself busy, since having to cancel my oct Disneyland trip, I am now focusing on an Oct 2014 split WDW and US trip with dual Halloween parties and hopefully the Harry potter expansion will be done by then, been keeping up with the DisDad Facebook post so even if I'm not on the board I'm still keeping simi informed lol. Hope everyone's doing great. Norm, since the trip is cancelled i am looking to get out of tennessee for a weekend soon, anything goin on in y'all's neck of the woods?

We escaped....

So that's the secret to bypassing security... some vintage Niagara Region harvest...

Everyone's got a price... :lmao: :rotfl2:

Sadly didn't make it onto Dragster... line ups for the mediocre rides were around 2 hours, Dragster had to be 3 or more.
Just another reason to return... and I know where to get dome dinner with a cheap bottle of sparkling grape juice. :lmao:

W O W... that's a busy day at the park :scared: Did he at least take you to the local ice cream place?? Mmmmmm... ice cream. :mickeybar

Hey! We are thinking of attending that day, too! However, we are not going to spend the money for the package. We'll wait in line for one of the shows.

:lmao: 20 pounds! I shaved the goatee off once about 15 years ago and was told to never so it again.

Was going through some old video's, this was pre joining the DISDad's, but honestly, isn't this the reason we are all DISDad's?

HAHAHA! Love how DS just continues on like that cup is the only thing in the world that matters :rotfl2:

Toft's Ice Cream... Best ice cream I've had in ages. Can give Ben and Jerry a run for there money any day of the week.

We purposely dehydrated him until that point... just for the video. ;)

I've only rented the searay cruisers (formerly called seamice or something?). They're fun, but needless to say, they're prob too small for the fam! ;)

Have a blast down there!:cool1:
