Welcome to old age! Next you'll have an overwhelming urge to yell at kids who walk on your lawn.
:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Better than the overwhelming bladder urge in the middle of the night.

Good morning gentlemen. I just shaved off a four day beard. Really don't like looking in the mirror and seeing the fuzz is more grey than red. :headache:....

Gray fuzz on the chin isn't bad, but you have reached the top of the hill when the barber asks you if you want him to trim your eyebrows and ears.

The contest is over on the "Last" thread.

princess::upsidedow holds her own pretty well over there.

We have a boy on the way so that is exciting! Finally a reason to buy new action figures. :lmao:

Congrats on the future DISDad club member!

Well, we haven't actually moved them yet. The 2 yo still ends up in our bed every night. Occasionally the 7 yo ends up sleeping on our floor. These are both habits I want to break them of. Hopefully putting them in the same room might cure their 'lonelyness'. This not the long term solution. Eventually we plan to upgrade to a bigger house, just not sure what the timeline is on that at this point.

Congrats on the boy. Not sure what this "reason to buy new action figures" means, my son isn't allowed to play with mine. :confused3

:cool1: Congrats! Now you can update your signature ;)
:thumbsup2

Not sure I ever congratulated you on the boy on the way so big congrats! And enjoy being able to go down the action figure aisles when out shopping :thumbsup2

Also, how are the Bears looking? They are not getting much coverage on ESPN nor NFL Network.
Thanks!

There is a lot of uncertainty. I think we'll need to see them play a few games to see how the new offense will be. It sounds like the defense has been dominating in practice so far.

Congrats on the future DISDad club member!
Thank you. It makes me happy we decided to go for # 3.

Thanks. I love my girls but I've spent far too much time in Target in the Princess/Lalaloopsie/Monster High aisles.

My mom just found my container from college that I had stashed away several Star Wars action figures still in the packages (mid 90's). Not sure if they are worth anything or not but I at least have those to pass down.

Wow had to go through quite a lot of pages, you guys have been busy

Sitting at the table and I'm writing down all the restaurants at WDW I've eaten at. It's pretty extensive, I feel, though I have no swan/dolphin meals represented. I'm love dining planning, but I'm really not sure where to go from here. Well, the benefit of planning this far in advance is the time to research. Be our Guest and Whispering canyon are on the list, but that's it so far. And mostly, I just wanted to post to say good morning.

There is only a small handful of restaurants we haven't tried that we want to hit, then it's more "what do we feel like"

Good morning.

Do you ever wake up feeling like someone beat you with a 2X4 while you were asleep and have no idea why you feel that way? :headache:

No but there are nights I go around and beat people with 2x4's while they sleep

Hmmm... I got my info from Touring Plans. I suspect the actual number ranking varies based on what each company uses to gauge the crowd levels. For Touring Plans, they use historical wait times to help calculate their crowd level. My guess is that wait times usually are pretty good the first few weeks of December... but crowds are slightly higher because guests are enjoying the decorations and shopping more. Just a guess there.

Looks like Josh also uses resort bookings and other historical data to help calculate his data. And after reading his descriptions of what is going on in December this year, I feel he has a more accurate crowd number. We visited Dec 10-15, 2011, and I would say an overall rank of 3 or 4's during the week would have been accurate.

It's a good read and he frequently goes out to parks to test his theories.

Glad to be of assistance.
If you travel that route just tap out IASW on the horn when you get to the SC Welcome Center…
I’ll likely hear it from there.

“

That should get some attention. If they have wifi I might post I'm there, we stop at every welcome Center we come to give everyone a stretch

I hope that isn't the case. I just walked downstairs this morning and told DW my knees felt like they were carrying about 400 pounds.

As opposed to my knees already carrying 300 lbs sigh

Thanks, that's a site I wasn't aware of! Looks like the marathon is schedule for earlier in January, which should make for a nicer time during the middle to end of the month.

It was not posted in the thread... you can find it HERE :wizard:

I just found this site this morning... been fun catching up on some reading

If you look around the archives enough you'll see the Dole Whip he made at captain cooks at poly. It involves chopsticks for support.

It's also good that he goes around to get reports made at as many TS, QS, stands that he can with prices and what.

Unacceptable! :lmao: How is next Friday? Lets put it on the calendar!

Incorrect.

Correct.

If your speaking of August 16th, then yes on the calendar. When we get close, give me a time and place. As the 15th is a 20th anniversary party for my company I may or may not be in the office that day, but I think it's around the same distance either way.

It's not a contest, you just need to participate!

Looks like I'm at the top for now. Of course I'll drop out of the top 10 once vacation starts. I'll try to check in and post some pics, but technology will be limited.

Good luck getting them together. DD went through a period where she was always coming in with a reason to sleep in our room. The 4 foot Mickey Mouse cure that. I told her it was us or him and that no way was he fitting in the bed too. Mickey won and she sleeps in her own bed now.:lmao::lmao:

I'd love to fly out of PHF, buy since AirTran made their last flight, prices are just too high. $120/person round trip was hard to beat. It's just shy of an hour for us.

Yeah, I know about the 50 lb limit. I sure hope we don't pack more than that in one suitcase!

$120RT is a good price. That's why we love SW. We are flying on points, but the equivalent $$ was in the $80-90 range after rebooking twice for us out of Manchester, NH. If one suitcase is too heavy, they'll let you "reorganize" to balance it out. Yup, the wife waaayyyy overpacked last time.

I'm starting to re-think the no cable environment in our house. As football approaches I think I'm going to have a hard time dominating fantasy football if I can't watch a game every now and then. I've been considering some of those subscription services (hulu) so we can watch some shows we like, but do any of those offer live sports? Mix in the fact that hockey is right around the corner and this little social experiment is going to be tought to stick with. And DW is talking about getting a new couch! What good is a new couch (with electric motorized recliner:thumbsup2) if I can't watch football from it?:confused3

Have you thought about getting one of these things?

::yes::

If it isn't a contest, explain this post. :rolleyes1

They're more like guidelines...

Statistics don't necessitate a contest. ;)

Done. :thumbsup2

Daughters, got to luv 'em princess:

With all the Dad's down in WDW, I find the lack of meet ups with Briana and Stewart Disturbing!

Morning gentlemen.....

Happy Monday!

Some Canadian DisDad is in town....so I think I'm going to develop some kind of sickness and leave work around 2p. Sound good?

:thumbsup2

Wonder who it was... did you get out?

Man was that a busy day at Cedar Point.

So have they caught and quarantined the Canadian? Don't want any sickness spreading. :scared:

Have a nice day. :)

We escaped....

They brought wine - so we decided we needed to let them in so we could get the wine.... :rotfl2:

But, we'll put them to the test on our rollercoasters today and see how they hold up. :thumbsup2

So that's the secret to bypassing security... some vintage Niagara Region harvest...

Everyone's got a price... :lmao: :rotfl2:

(Chanting) Dragster! Dragster! Dragster! :car:

Watch out for the wine coming back up...

Sadly didn't make it onto Dragster... line ups for the mediocre rides were around 2 hours, Dragster had to be 3 or more.
Just another reason to return... and I know where to get dome dinner with a cheap bottle of sparkling grape juice. :lmao:

Good morning, gentlemen. I'm always reluctant to post in such a dynamic thread, for fear of throwing off the thread's momentum. My name is Anthony--Ant for short...never, ever Tony :furious:.

I just enjoyed my first trip to WDW as a dad last December (rented points for a 2BR at SSR for 10 days) and we're already planning for a late January 2015 return. We're discussing doing a split stay, with 5 days at a Treehouse Villa with my cousin and her son (possibly a Grand Villa, if my aunt & uncle come with her) and then we'll do 3-5 days a AKV in a Savannah view 2BR on our own.

:welcome: Ant...
