You still haven't opened that bottle of Makers yet? It won't age anymore in the glass bottle.

Trust me, I have wanted to. I want to save it for a special occasion so I thought that when I have a full house of six kids it would be the best time to crack that puppy open :thumbsup2

So next weeks Limited Time Magic are...new Ear Hats...Are they even trying anymore?
I saw that as well and agree with you. Ear Hats, that's original :confused3 Hopefully they will hit a stride going into the holiday months and have something good when you are there. We had Main Street Singers in June..........
Post 5000…

Not that big a deal any more is it?
It’s been done (and doubled) so often that it’s no longer all that amazing.
So let me simply say:

Gentleman (and I actually mean that)… Gentleman

L'chaim!Enjoy!
Congrats and well said sir, I raise my glass back at ya

Have a great weekend Dads!

The special occasion was when I showed up. I guess you can settle for the other. :confused3 :lmao:

With this test what we are getting is three per day, plus a bonus of Pirates for any MK day. Only one park's worth per day though, but we're not hopping this trip. Funny thing is, I had no problem turning the Pirates bonus FP into another, better opportunity. Only MK had parades/fireworks included. Not sure how the parade FP works, but I guess we'll find out, I am guessing a specific viewing area? It doesnt really mention. The fireworks has a spot near the Plaza Restraunt. When I looked on the map at where my FP+ options were, it showed the Parade being close to the Harmony Barbershop, maybe a spot has been reserved there? Didn't try for MSEP because they are running two shows a night by the look of it, I'll catch the later of the two at Frontier Land where the crowds tend to be lighter.

The Wifi has been good at the different DVC resorts, so that shouldn't be an issue. Again, from what I am reading about FP+, you can use it for Wishes and parades. But, I haven't been able to get whether or not it is a reserved seat or just a holding area. I like being able to sit down for that show, but a premium standing place would be nice. I'll be curious what the actually do for these.

We arrived in Sarnia for a weekend of relaxation...last relaxation before Disney...:goodvibes

That would have ben fine, except weren't they singing Boy Band Material? Bleh. :lmao: No idea what it will be, DW and I talked about it on the drive to Sarnia, I will need to find some free WiFi on the way to catch Friday's announcement. Hopefully where ever we end up in Cocoa Beach will have it. But a good % of the LTM have been lackluster.

I had to load an upgrade for the MDE app and noticed that the Share a Dream Come True Parade has a viewing location listed as Frontier Land, so there must be a roped off area. I think the Fireworks viewing is in the lower Plaza seating area I wonder if the moved the smokers somewhere else and put it there?

Hey, that's my line :lmao:

Good morning Randall

Morning

What a night. DW steals my blanket and the youngest wakes me at 5am ready to get up for the day. Nothing like a weekend at grandma's house heh

A pre-vacation vacation. Genius.

I like the idea of the MDE and reserving a spot for parades and fireworks. Still, the best parade and firework viewings for me are the ones sitting down. I know i am super lazy and proud Team Sparrow member, but i just enjoy it more. It is nice to just sit and relax for the show. It seems like anywhere on MainStreet, I would find a seat and then people would standin front of me or try to get in front if I didn't stand to ensure they didn't. And, i didn't like having to get there 30 minutes to an hour early for that spot. So, I'm curious if these MDE are for roped off seating areas or just standing areas. I'm counting on you for the answer.

We happened upon some by accident and now return for our seats. The bench seats over the tomorrow land bridge are great for Wishes and Hallowwishes. Yes, there is a tree there, but you can see the castle and fireworks overhead just fine. For the MNSSHP parade, we like the seats by LTT - next to it has some chairs or across from it on the stone wall. There are also two rocking chairs at the exit of the Hall of Presidents up in Liberty Square with some stairs, but those are a little more difficult to get and not as big a viewing area of the parade. For the other parades, we found a area up near the Plaza. Plus, I like the end of the parade to pass by earlier and head over to rides & attractions before the rest of the masses.

Hey, that's my line :lmao:

Good morning Randall

That is trademark infringement.

Good luck Barry...

While you ride ToT 13 times.... I intend to ride Millenium Force, and Top Thirll Dragster once...

The 420 ft, plus 310 ft drops, should just about cover it.

(420 + 310) / 30 = 24.3 ToT rides...

Yeah, I am all for sitting, but unless it's a chair, or something to sit on, I'll stand. I cannot sit on the ground for more then a minute before getting extremely uncomfortable, little too fat in the legs. :rolleyes1 When we did MNSSHP DW actually had spots for us at one of the planters to sit on along Frontierland, but me and the girls were late getting there from the Fairies meet and Greet and got stuck on the other side of the street. :rotfl2: But when we reserved the Wishes viewing spot from CAA/AAA it was in the same area they talk about being the FP+ location. It's in the lower landing by the Plaza Restraunt. We got there in a decent amount of time, so were able to snag a table and chairs and no one stood in front of us (they key was it was restricted to only a certain number of reserved spots). I remember getting annoyed that it was RIGHT beside the smokers (I am not a fan of smoking) and they were reaching over and grabbing any chair they could (hey, if you didn't smoke, you'd be able to handle standing for longer periods of time :rotfl2:) Couldn't get a spot this year, booked up solid, so it was good to get the FP+ and see where it places us. I still wonder if they moved the smoking location, seeing it was good real estate for fireworks.

The crowds and general nature of people for parades is the main reason I don't go out of my way to see them. There is not a lot of respect for others who've gone out of their way to get themselves a decent spot. I do like the nighttime parades though, and want to see MSEP, and lament never getting to see Spectro again. One year we let a little guy come sit in front with us so he could see because we could make the space, and the REST of his family came and almost crowded out my girls, DW almost blew a gasket. I always stood behind the stroller that Audrey would sit in. One year for Spectro we got spots right at the edge of the seating for Tortuga/Pecos Bills for the second running and no one was around us, very nice. There was already a chair from the outdoor seating area sitting there, likely from someone from the earlier showing, so we didn't bring it over, but took advantage that it was "already there". It made a fairly pregnant and tired DW grateful to be able to sit down. (We wasn't feeling well throughout the trip). One parade last trip I recall DW sitting in those rockers as I now recall....:rotfl2:

Rib, congrats on the milestone. 5k is still significant. (And more than double my post count)

So David you are saying you are going to start drinking after having 6 kids at home? ;)

Definitely a worthy celebration.

24 hours till we arrive at the world.

When are you stopping by to pick me up?

Agreed. I only try find the places with some type of sitting. I can handle sitting on the curb on main street, but when the parade starts, I don't want to stand up and block others, but I don't want to sit that long.

That is the plan, lol
