Ours was always $10, but when I booked this trip about 2 months ago, it was up to $12.50. But still, when I add in the extra $100 it costs for 4 people, round trip, I'm still coming out way ahead with Southwest vs other airlines and their baggage fees.

Morning everyone.

Hey Brent, Fasspass+ question. Were you able to add a Fasspass for the whole family at one time, or did you have to do them separate?

It gave me the option for the whole party, or I could pick and choose who got them.(I guess if we grabbed fastpasses for something only half the party wanted, we could grab a different one for the same time for the other half.)

Picked up a win for both DD and DS teams last night in our final games of the regular season. DD team won by 7, with DD scoring 8 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Puts us at 10-2 entering the playoffs as #2 seed (due to the game where I call Shananigans on the officials). Top team is 10-1, but we held the tie breaker. DS got a forfeit. Only 2 players showed up. His team finished 8-4 and enter in the middle of the pack, but we plan to make some noise in the playoffs.




Sadly, I have neither showing in my app. I am guessing it only shows up if you are selected. Thanks for the info.

That sucks, but confirms my suspiscions of being on the test program. I just assumed they were rolling out the program by that point.

Hey, guys. Checking in real quick before going to Ohana for breakfast. I have been trying to stay away from the electronic devices during the trip, minus quick check-ins on my phone, but today is a slow, relaxing day. We slept in and have a 9:40 breakfast ADR, then we are going to Blizzard Beach. I begrudgingly canceled our Boma ADR tonight so we would be flexible today (ugh!). I think we will head over to Hollywood Studios this evening, since it it DS favorite.

Trip is great so far, although DW is not overly impressed with the Poly. I think she is insane. She doesn't like the fact that there are no hidden mickeys in the room and she says it is like a nice hotel room, but not a Disney hotel room. She also complained about no towel animals after the first day, but we came back to the room last night the find a large towel elephant on the bed. For me, having a Dole Whip machine a couple hundred feet from my room is enough to sell me on the resort.

Oh man, I so want to do the Poly again, it was 10 years ago now (!) and loved it a lot. Alas, it's out of our price now. We are doing two breakfasts there this trip to make up for that.

Good morning guys. Had a good time last night, we went to Harry & Izzys in downtown Indy. Great steak! The drinking challenge never happened. He was drinking gin martinis with cucumber, lol. We did all have a 21 year old scotch but he didn't finish his.

I forgot that we had an international soccer match here last night. Downtown was packed and hopping.

But it sounds like you had a good evening at least.
Not a big fan of Gin myself, but I’d never consider leaving good scotch on the table.

Southwest boarding passed printed. A19-22. (Yes, I paid the extra $12.50 per person for Early Bird Check in. This should get us in the first 10 or so rows of the plane. Because after a 2 1/2 hour flight, the last thing we want to do with 3 kids is sit on the plane at the gate while 99 other people get off first)

Now to get through one last day of work. Just one day. I can do this...I can do this....I can do this...

I hear ya! We always fly Southwest as well. Out of Manchester, NH and not Logan as well since it is so much easier. I was just a little surprised to see a different price. I paid our back in February I think when I booked the flights.

Facebook will be the main place to look for updates since it's the easiest to post to with my phone. I'll try to pop in here once in a while. Monday, August 5th is the big day.
I might also see if I can intermix 13 cupcakes from Starring Rolls with the 13 rides on ToT.

That's what I was guessing. It is like FP, except you can schedule before the park day. You can't get regular FPs at the same time for multiple rides, but two people could get a FP for one ride and two other family members for another ride. The details still aren't all the way out on the FP+ for AP holders, how many per day, how far apart in times, etc.

Have you seen the prices of resale contracts lately? It's crazy. We need another recession to bring prices back down.

I'm sure they'll be steep, but for a comparable room, I don't see how they could charge more than the Grand Floridian.
If they do go ahead and build the rumored stand-alone huts over the water, I'm sure those will be the most expensive DVC rooms around.

From the rumors I've read, the bungalows/ treehouse in the water, or whatever they are called are going in. Whether or not they are included in DVC or if they will build DVC remains to be seen. I think they will be popular sellers as well, and they may reserve some for DVC and some for cash guests. I saw where the points per stay went up quite a bit on the THV at SSR. I've read where there has been some availability for them now at 7 months with the change.

Looks like mine will be few and far between...we are getting a plan added on for the time of our stay, but it's still pretty limited, unless the free WiFi is good. The US roaming chargers are like murder.

With this test what we are getting is three per day, plus a bonus of Pirates for any MK day. Only one park's worth per day though, but we're not hopping this trip. Funny thing is, I had no problem turning the Pirates bonus FP into another, better opportunity. Only MK had parades/fireworks included. Not sure how the parade FP works, but I guess we'll find out, I am guessing a specific viewing area? It doesnt really mention. The fireworks has a spot near the Plaza Restraunt. When I looked on the map at where my FP+ options were, it showed the Parade being close to the Harmony Barbershop, maybe a spot has been reserved there? Didn't try for MSEP because they are running two shows a night by the look of it, I'll catch the later of the two at Frontier Land where the crowds tend to be lighter.
