I am guessing you booked a package. I still can't see anywhere on my app that includes anything other than our room and dining reservations. Bummer for us. I'm sure DD will want a band if she see them. What section on the app has the option for you?

On the app I hit the three bars which open up the menu on the left hand side, The magic bands section is under the "My Account" header, between Friends and Family and Wish List. The Fastpass+ is between My Plans and Dining under Plan and Manage.

We got CSR for our whole stay. A friend of DW got us the friends and family discount and that was all that was left on our wish list after DW got through.

Good get. I've never stayed at CSR and even better with a discount.

Headed South tomorrow...not as far south as I would like but Myrtle Beach will have to do this time!

You're second on that list after David. True about emergency fund, and maybe it would just make sense to not worry about it. But, I worry. It is just a contract - can always save up extra and buy another later. And, I'll still keep one of my contracts.

Have you seen the prices of resale contracts lately? It's crazy. We need another recession to bring prices back down.

FRIDAY, I see the weekend through the fog, OWNAGE!


Picked up a win for both DD and DS teams last night in our final games of the regular season. DD team won by 7, with DD scoring 8 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Puts us at 10-2 entering the playoffs as #2 seed (due to the game where I call Shananigans on the officials). Top team is 10-1, but we held the tie breaker. DS got a forfeit. Only 2 players showed up. His team finished 8-4 and enter in the middle of the pack, but we plan to make some noise in the playoffs.

Southwest boarding passed printed. A19-22. (Yes, I paid the extra $12.50 per person for Early Bird Check in. This should get us in the first 10 or so rows of the plane. Because after a 2 1/2 hour flight, the last thing we want to do with 3 kids is sit on the plane at the gate while 99 other people get off first)

Now to get through one last day of work. Just one day. I can do this...I can do this....I can do this...

Facebook will be the main place to look for updates since it's the easiest to post to with my phone. I'll try to pop in here once in a while. Monday, August 5th is the big day.
I might also see if I can intermix 13 cupcakes from Starring Rolls with the 13 rides on ToT.

Hey, guys. Checking in real quick before going to Ohana for breakfast. I have been trying to stay away from the electronic devices during the trip, minus quick check-ins on my phone, but today is a slow, relaxing day. We slept in and have a 9:40 breakfast ADR, then we are going to Blizzard Beach. I begrudgingly canceled our Boma ADR tonight so we would be flexible today (ugh!). I think we will head over to Hollywood Studios this evening, since it it DS favorite.

Trip is great so far, although DW is not overly impressed with the Poly. I think she is insane. She doesn't like the fact that there are no hidden mickeys in the room and she says it is like a nice hotel room, but not a Disney hotel room. She also complained about no towel animals after the first day, but we came back to the room last night the find a large towel elephant on the bed. For me, having a Dole Whip machine a couple hundred feet from my room is enough to sell me on the resort.

Enjoy breakfast. We love Ohana in the morning. Bummer that DW is not impressed, but congrats on the elephant. We actually have a couple of the towel animals in DD room (small ones) that she insisted we keep the last couple stays. One is a crab and the other I'm still not sure, but she says it's a bear.

Ours was always $10, but when I booked this trip about 2 months ago, it was up to $12.50. But still, when I add in the extra $100 it costs for 4 people, round trip, I'm still coming out way ahead with Southwest vs other airlines and their baggage fees.
