:headache: One of those nights where no matter what anyone else does, or what you do to try to fix it, you are the bad guy. Imagine the trouble I'd be in if I was at fault??:sad2:

I had some concerns today about the Magic Bands/FP+ and regular FP, after all, the regular machines do need a KTTW card. Could find an answer onlibe, so contacted the Mouse myself, here was the reply I got

Dear Brent,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

That is a great question! Actually during the test we are allowing
Guests to use their Key To The World Cards as well as their MagicBand®
so you can actually use both FastPass® options.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact
us.

So looks like I get to participate in a testing phase of it. I readthat they were testing next week, and they included guests at the POP, so I guess it extends into three weeks from now too. Very interesting.

Also, after being shut out on the fireworks viewing through CAA/AAA being totally booked, I landed FP+ in a preferred viewing location (suspiciously, seems to be the same general area). We are also trying out one for the Daytime parade too. We will see how this goes I guess. No parades/shows in any other park though. (We took a Fantasmic dining package, so we got that covered)

Might be fun to be a part of a test phase, although it increases the chances of a snafu. :confused3

Take this by the horns and ride it! :thumbsup2. I am jealous.

Good morning gentlemen. :surfweb:

Not enjoying having to get up early on my days off to check for free dining. Especially when it the rumors are not true.

:stir: two words... off site
.

True. I can get close to that amount if I don't calculate a current lodging cost (by using upfront DVC costs or annual dues).

Thems better than bankers hours!

Yes. I produce the results so the boss just leaves me alone. He won't deal with the drama though. So, I guess it is better for me to leave as opposed to cursing anyone.

It was. DW was not going to get any shirts for herself until DD talked her into wearing "matching" Rapunzel shirts.

My goal one day is to live near WDW, have my house furnished with Disney stuff - pictures, plates, etc., along with an all Disney wardrobe. Winning the lotto would help me achieve that goal a lot faster.

Sorry to hear about work, but I get it. Good luck on being a lab experiement. There may be some glitches, but like everything else Disney, they usually make things that enhance the guest experience as opposed to hurt it. I just don't want to wear a bracelet.

Read about others checking on in yesterday. Hope it works out for you.

Good morning. Our customer appreciation pork chop lunch is today. One of my favorite days of the year. It was the thing that kept me from being able to meet Mark during his Midwest tour a couple of years ago. :rotfl2::lmao:

I hope that the information you got is correct. That would be awesome to be able to use both FP systems. I know this isn't their intention, but I certainly hope you can take full advantage of it and completely abuse it.:thumbsup2 :lmao::rotfl2:

My goal is a gaudy hodgepodge of Star Wars and Disney items taking up the house. I am doing very well on the wardrobe front. The rest of the house is going to take some time and convincing the budget and decorating committees.

Looks like Thursday is the day. I will be at work. DW will have to do it.
Morning guys!
Morning.

Funny that was what I was thinking like heading to use my TSM fast passes and grabbing another set I was more worried about DW and Amelia not getting FP for rock and roller coaster since I used the FP+ on rides for all four of us at DHS ( TSM, ToT and Star Tours)

I heard the purpose of the tests is to see how guests will use the bands and the FP+, what habits and trends will form. I'd like to have the KTTW card just in case something goes wrong with the bands

Morning guys. Got to the office this morning and a little reminder popped up saying I had a dentist appointment in 10 minutes. I have a full coffee here is anyone wants it; it's a bit cold though. :lmao:

You're going to need a bigger trailer!

Morning guys!

Back from a long weekend at a friends lake house in CT. The weather was perfect. 80's and partly sunny during the day, 70's at night. Lots of swimming, boating and relaxing. The dads took home the ladder ball championship over the moms, and 3 kids teams:thumbsup2. Good food and friends.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and today is my Monday. Better news is that we are now down to 22 days! :cool1::cool1: Prayers for those in need, congrats to anyone celebrating. I'm off to catch up....on work and the last fews days on the boards.

Hear ya, DS at 16 and he needed to meet some friends at the pool last weekend so me and DW went since we had nothing better to do and it was hot (we completely kept our distance - like we were not there) as the friends were 3 girls - kept calling him Bosley and Charlie Angels - he was not happy when he googled Bosley but thats totally a Dad's job to raz and poke a little fun.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I do plan to enjoy the opportunity to tease him.:thumbsup2

Yep. DD is 10 (going on 19, in her own mind). She'll be 11 at the beginning of October. I enjoy torturing her by refusing to call her a "teenager." I insist that, for now, she is only a TENager, and that she has to wait until she's 13 to be a TEENager.

What day was DD born Aaron? Alexandra is 10/8. Looks like they are really close.

Well your best bet to get the trinket would be to leave as little time as possible for the CMs to find it. So if I leave something in MK for you on 12/20, you would want to be in that park on 12/21. Can you do it? I'll think of a place, leave it there and PM you with the location. Pay it forward!!

I am assuming you mean 8/21 and yes! If there is a treasure hunt possibility, we will certainly take that as a challenge that cannot be missed. And will pay it forward to the next dads coming close to our departure time.
