:rotfl2: We have the duck tours in Boston too, but I've never had a driver try to pick up any girls on the route... :rotfl2:

We have. It was actually kind of comical since he was dressed like a duck!:lmao::lmao: We also had a driver that was dressed like a dinosaur once. Not sure what was up with that guy.

Welcome back Mike! No trips in the foreseeable future for me either but I hangout here and live vicariously through others. It certainly isn't for the wisdom from these guys.:rotfl2:

Hey, we resemble that remark.:scared:

Four more shifts to go, starting Saturday I'm off for 11 days. :hyper:

DW after picking up the girls stoped by Value Village, a local thrift store to look around. Amelia spotted this little treasure...

Apparently some sort of vintage ashtray, looks a bit old, seeing it has the Admiral Joe Fowler riverboat on it. It;s in great shape, and a neat little item you don;t see anymore. Saw it on ebay for around $ 9-17 depending on the seller. DW paid a whopping $3 for it. :thumbsup2

Good find right there. Enjoy the time off. Feel free to spend it looking for my birthday present.

Yet when I do it, people get all upset. Of course, I was in a canoe at the time..

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Good morning guys :surfweb:

Mike, good to hear from you again :thumbsup2

Mornin dads.

Good morning guys...

Good morning.

Hey Guys!:wave2:

Good morning guys. Getting a little tired of the heat and thinking I'm ready for fall, football, and chili (with bacon for added flavor, of course). Already thinking about how I'm going to tweak the recipe I've been using to make it just a little bit better.

70's and heavy rain here today. Good luck with the recipe. Feel free to send some along for the rest of us.

Looks like a fun time... except for maybe that last part? :confused3 :rotfl:

At least you got to see them before they lost Braun for the year. :rolleyes1

They lost Braun. Is he injured.:confused3:rolleyes1

Hey guys. Spent the weekend with the family in Columbus, OH and we did the Color Run. Well, it was mostly walk. My older DD was supposed to run with me but she wasn't feeling too well. After about a minute of running she starting getting cramps in her side so I ran with her on my back for about a half mile but that's about all my legs could take of the extra 60 pounds. Then we walked for about another mile while going through a couple of color zones (they throw colored corn starch at you). About halfway through the run the clouds opened up for about a 10 minute monsoon. I had to carry DD for another bit because the rain made her cold. After it stopped she started walking again and then we ran about the last 1/4 mile to cross the finish line. All in all it was fun. If I had known we were going to mostly walk I would have just hung back with my pregnant DW and the littler DD too.

My little one really enjoyed it!

Up next for this coming weekend is Pierogi Fest!!

I was just reading that on the other screen. What a bunch of idiots.

On the $$ front, I brought the car in for the normal 5K mile service and they found that one of the rear struts was bent. The warranty ran out about 3 months ago.:headache::mad: There goes $500 that wasn't planned for. Car has 106K miles on it and plan to give it to DS in about 3 years so gotta keep it running well. Don't have to like it though.

The good part is I have a loaner car (no cost to me), 2013 ES350 almost brand new. Part is on order so I get to drive a new car around until it comes in and they fix mine. All in all, a good benefit. Oh, and they provided muffins, donuts, coffee and drinks this morning. :thumbsup2

Poor guy. How many more millions are left on his contract? I hope the FedEx (or was it UPS) guy sues him for slander. It's one thing to be a cheater and a liar - that I respect for earning $100 million. But, dogging a guy making $40K is really crappy.

Agreed. What a punk.

I either forgot that or got tired of waiting on him to finish that trip report.

Hey now! Compared to Don and Barry, I'm a speed demon! :car:

Looks like you all had fun. We only have a few things in our area, mostly the fall time frame. Have a pierogi for the rest of us.:thumbsup2

She was with. We were in the Gehl club. She went to sit down and i told her she couldn't sit there. Well you know how women are and she went and sat there then got kicked out.
I said i had told here that wasn't for us. She insisted it was and i said there are signs saying it isn't. She said she read them and it doesn't specify. I said it does. Then got told she didn't like the way i was speaking to her. So she didn't sit by us for a while and we ended up losing their spots we were trying to save for them because she was ticked and wouldn't come down.

By about the 4th she finally was settled down. :sad2::sad2:

I truly sympathize...I know another DW who is totally like that (and who I know doesn't come on these boards)

A good day today. Made reservations for next summer's vacation. Booked a 7 day Royal Caribbean Western cruise starting May 25 and then a week at the Boardwalk after we disembark on June 1. May try to change the WDW trip to the new DVC at the Grand Floridian. Randall, if you have the time, you can add it to the who's going post.

Before booking, I also priced out Disney Cruise Line. The thing that struck me is the RCL cruise is HALF of what the same accommodations are on the DCL. Since the kid no longer needs the kid's services it was a no brainer to book RCL. Would have rather gone on DCL but they priced me out of the market.

Well, I guess I've missed quite a bit. I had to change my email address so I thought I'd stop by and say, "Hi!"

Hey Mike. Glad you checked in. The kid that is dating my daughter is an Air Force Reservist and a mechanic. He is also getting jerked around by the budget issues.

Congrats on the event. Sorry dd wasn't feeling well. They had that color stuff for one of the 5Ks my dds went to. I think mine just went and stood in front of the color stuff and were covered.

Bad news about the car. Good news about the donuts.

Still livin' the dream. I'm going to try at get GF for April trip.

Checking in from beutiful Henderson KY:rolleyes1 300 miles, 6 hours driving and a new time zone. I think I may have hit every named parkway in the state today. I thought about complaining but like dad said when I talked with him today..."You got paid for driving, drinking coffee, and listening to the radio. Beats digging ditches." ::yes::

Tomorrow I get to sit in one place and drink coffee. No radio, but we may get donuts. It isn't quite CJ's life but there are others worse off.

Hmmm coffee...donuts....and music.....sounds good to me!:thumbsup2

Morning men. Fell behind.

I wanted to post these on Saturday but my app won't do pictures and i wasn't patient enough to do the web version with my thick fingers.

So,

View from our seats

Panorama of the stadium from our seats

It was a salute to Negro leagues night so it was the Milwaukee Bears vs the Miami Marlins

Brewers won 6-0

My son pointed out in the fifth that the score was 2013.

Got to see Mickey

And while i didn't get pictures of all of the food that i wanted i did get this one. (sorry it is blurry. Not easy to take a pick while holding a phone and a plate full of food.)

Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin :cool1::cool1:

Was a good time. (once the wife was done being mad at me):sad2:

Have to love the Mickey, over the off season we ate at Fridays front Row and got to see the Mickey without the ropes being up.
Love the pics

Have a great drinking fest.

Oh I plan too, thanks.
Best part is I have 4 hours to myself Friday to go around the grounds and do what ever I want, DW has to work Security at the main gate for a chunk of the day. I will have my son in tow but he can be fun when it's just the 2 of us wondering.

Sounds good, I know when I use to drive Ambulance for a local transport service all my friends would ask why I did it for $11 a hour. I would answer were else do you get paid to sleep on the sofa, watch TV, and drive a $100K vehicle around. We use to go shopping or out to eat, whatever we wanted to do. I parked the rig at my house one day for like 8 hours.

Morning guys. We got an update on the kiddos sizes and weights yesterday. They all appear to be catching up and doing well. :thumbsup2

DW has been wanting to start getting clothes for the boys for when we get them home. I'm glad we waited until we got the info from our agency. So now we can get all the essentials: Disney tshirt s, Colts stuff, IU stuff, ND stuff, my favorite uncle is CJ shirt :lmao:
