I dont have to train for the world showcase. As a matter of fact I have to teach myself to cut back for this one. there might be a rookie or two with us and one never leaves a man behind:rotfl2:

Cut back? Is this a Pittsburg thing? You'll have to speak slower & translate that for me.

Brazil's President cancelling trip to U.S. "snubing U.S. over NSA spying"
Does that include the tour groups going to WDW? Maybe we should return the favor and "cancel" a few tour groups - Just saying ;)

Actually, they are sending double the groups to WDW to retalliate.

Good morning gentlemen.

The results from yesterday's marathon doctor session are in. DS has the middle ear bones and is a good candidate for ear reconstruction. He is still a year or two away from surgery but now wet have a plan. Plus we won't have to buy another hearing aid that costs more than my first car.

Good news.

We could probably squeeze you in on the Florida trip but DW is insistent that the cruise is adults only and she had already agreed to let me come along.

Then I don't qualify. Glad you made the cut.

It was a close one. The injury bug bit late Sunday and I started to think I was going to go 0-3

My first of many of 0-3 weeks i'm guessing. Maybe I'll draft a #1 RB next year. I may be starting two back up RBs this week.

My wife has been mad at me for awhile now seems that when we got married I promised her we would go to Hawaii sometime around our 10th anniversary (I don't recall this but I could have been really drunk at the time:lmao:)

As you can see I'm a pretty tough negotiator:rotfl2:, I'll give in a little as long as I get a lot out of it:thumbsup2

You are planning further out than I. I was hoping for a 2015 cruise for our 15th, but it looks like that is not happening either.

Forget planning on drafting a #1 RB. I got what I felt like was 2 of them before the season started and you can see how well that's working out. :rolleyes1

Slow down there. I can only handle a little technology at a time. I'm still one of those people who avoid facebook.

Step 1 of the planning process was to make sure I didn't have to stay onsite again. So yes! The planning is underway. I won't bother doing the serious stuff until David-the-point-rental-guy confirms my request. The Dec 2013 trip is all set so I might as well start the next one.

I rarely post anything on FB, but I do keep up with the Disdads there. The group is private, which makes it nice. Good luck the rental. Where are trying for?

I really botched last year's draft & didn't have any keepers. I drafted out of desperation and will slowly climb out of it with a 3 year rebuilding process. I got the 2nd pick in the draft in my other (non-keeper) league and am cruising there.

So go figure..the re-organization day for schools (meaning no classes) is the Friday before our Thanksgiving weekend.

Really?

Had we known this in advance, I would have postponed the August Trip to October. Yes we would have had to fly instead of drive, but could have had 10 days at the World in cooler weather plus the F&W Festival AND MNSSHP, at the cost of only taking the girls out of 4 days of school.
I hope this becomes a regular occurance.

But then you would have missed us?:confused3

Crisis Averted!
My mom (owner of the timeshare) has informed me that she doesn't have enough points to accomodate a group this size. That means we're going to have to stay onsite in 2014. Woo-hoo! I've never been so happy to have someone fail to come through for me.

Congratulations on Mom being short on points.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Congrats - where are you looking to stay?

Was 0-3 in the first week and 1-2 in week 2. Not a great start here either.

Maybe we should all trade them to each other for a fresh start.:rotfl2::lmao:

Running backs???

Done!

Just send Lynch and McCoy on over. :rolleyes1

By the way... You might want to check out the waiver wire. I wanted to try to offer you a trade, but I just didn't see anything that looked like it would work for both of us. I had to drop one of the guys that I was going to offer you.

Brings new meaning to the phrase Epic Fail.

Bay Lake. Boardwalk would be a backup. But I'm still more than 11-months out so availability isn't a problem. Getting BLT owners to step up and offer their points is the tricky part. But I already spoke to them on the phone and David's people are very confident they can secure a 2BR and a studio without a problem. I don't think that's BS either. I've asked them similar questions in the past and they were very blunt when they didn't think they'd get points for other stays.

Hump day ownage! Hey it's something.

I didn't see anyone that would help from the wire(at least not right away), but if we merged our two teams together we might have a shot.:rotfl2::rotfl2: I did pick up a better back up QB than Rottenburger.

Lynch was a keeper for me and I had the top pick. Someone actually didn't keep McCoy from last season.:confused3 I was actually pretty surprised he was available. Sorry, both have "no-trade" clauses in their contracts.

Umm... that was me. I had Mc Coy, Trent Richardson and Doug Martin last year, but could only keep 1. I wasn't sure what to expect from McCoy under the new offense and I liked Martin's upside as the stand alone feature back who typically gets some catches out of the backfield. Heck, all the "experts" had Martin at #2 overall. I still like his upside, but McCoy has been a beast under this new O.

I was going to offer you Bryce Brown. Figured you might want that insurance policy on your bench. Just wasn't anything else I could give up to make a decent 2 for 2 trade that seemed fair to both parties so I just cut him loose.

Ohhhhh! I would have kept McCoy. I was never impressed with Richardson to be honest and a new coach in Tampa would have worried me about Martin. Will get a good look at Tampa Sunday at the game vs. the Pats. I'm always skeptical about younger players when there is an established veteran. I'll have to go and see who I can do without.

I'll go take a look at your roster. What are you looking for position wise? You have 2 starters so it must be something other than RB.

Truthfully, McCoy spent a lot of time on my bench last year being outperformed. It came down to Richardson vs. Martin really, and that wasn't all that hard of a choice. Martin played for Schiano last year and that's why he thrived. They used him like a Ray Rice. He's just not getting those short passes so far this season, but I still think he can have a great year if they work him into the passing game. He's been running the ball well so far.

I do tend to lean towards a younger player in a keeper format too. Especially when we're talking about the RB position.

This is why I say our 3 keepers should be whatever position we want. If you were clever enough to assemble a roster last year with those three guys, good for you. You should be able to reap the benefits of that the following year. I know I'm in the minority on this but I thought I'd point it out anyway.

Yeah, but if we change it now, I'll be pissed!!! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I would trade you Brady, but can't trade across divisions.

Agree with Andy that the thing would have to start all over in order to implement that change now. Personally, I drafted terribly the year of the keeper, so my team will suck for several years. I never had nor will ever have a chance to draft Peterson, Rice, Rogers, so at least this way, I get a slight chance to improve.

I've read good things about David's and I really like BLT. I've still got you on my list for when we get back in October.

Thanks for the prayers guys
That's good news. Since you'll have all that extra money, should we expect a few extra Disney trips in the coming years? :thumbsup2 Continued prayers.
I'm already working on a Mid April 2015 trip to Anaheim.

Horrible news. Hope you can cope. ;)

That explains why I had Josh Freeman on the team I inherited. :badpc:
