No morning picture from Dave? Maybe he slept in?!

;)

I'm enjoying the morning pictures. I propose we make that a new tradition. Something slightly less than a manlaw, but a practice we should all strive towards.

When one is at a Disney property, take a morniing picture and post it. Assuming people have smartphones (which I still don't), it's a pretty easy task I imagine.

As a child, I thought Hump Day was a scheduled day for mommies & daddies to have special love wrestling time. Now I know it's just Wednesday.

Definitely just Wednesday.

Not even going to try to catch up but prayers for those in need, welcome new dads and congrats where deserving.

Rained out today with field work still to do, but I have plenty of other office work just no motivation.

The continual drip of life in eastern KY is wearing.

525 coal miners in my region received layoff notices so that, along with the decrease in coal severance funds and the expected loss of support jobs, means things will just get tighter for my colleagues in county operations. Timber industry isn't doing well either so there isn't a bright spot to look to unless we go with hemp production. Our Ag Commissioner supports it and is requesting a ruling from the DOJ on whether it will be prosecuted. People in eastern KY are good at growing hemp (legal and otherwise) and the old-timers I work with still remember when it was a significant crop in the 30's and 40's.

My summer employee didn't show up again as well so time for a counseling session with him. You try to provide opportunities and then people don't take advantage of it.

Definitely feels like one of these kind of days...

My wife has been mad at me for awhile now seems that when we got married I promised her we would go to Hawaii sometime around our 10th anniversary (I don't recall this but I could have been really drunk at the time:lmao:)

Well anyway she's been beating me up about it, so I came up with a proposal that she excepted:confused3

July - August 2014, a 10-12 day WDW trip staying at Caribbean Beach

Nov - 4 day trip to WDW, I've never flown, so with a short trip this will be my practice run:eek:

Easter 2015 - both my wife and son will have off the same week, so it's a 7 day
at WDW:thumbsup2

July - August 2015 2 week trip, stopping at DL then Hawaii

Nov 2015 - trip to WDW

Now all this will only come to play if I have the Hawaii trip booked as soon as they start taking reservations for that time ( figure this Jan)

As you can see I'm a pretty tough negotiator:rotfl2:, I'll give in a little as long as I get a lot out of it:thumbsup2

I don't fly well, I recommend drinking before, during and after the flight.

Conversely, get the wife to the airport, get her blindly drunk, drive to WDW while she snores it off in the car.

Stay at Poly. When she sees anything "Mickey", tell her you're at Aulani.

I was going to ask why Aulani was not the Hawaii sentence, but I like your response better. That's 2 for drunk at the Poly.:lmao::lmao:

You are awesome my friend! One the guys with us will freak out; he is a huge Red Sox fan.

Can you let my wife know? It seems the kids are acting up again adn it's all my fault.:faint:

I believe it is date to date - 1 year!

As for use at DL - I believe you need a PREMIUM ANNUAL PASS (or at least it used to be - I just googled it, and it doesn't seem to include DL anymore)

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passes/

Yes, date to date and you would have to by premium to use at both locations.

Filet, medium well.

Stay tuned for your morning picture and tonight, five o clock, I'm going to try the grey stuff. I hear its delicious!

Having experienced the Grey Stuff in August for my birthday, I can confirm it is delicious. However, there is no need to save room for the grey stuff as they are very selective and only provide a taste.

Good morning gentlemen.

The results from yesterday's marathon doctor session are in. DS has the middle ear bones and is a good candidate for ear reconstruction. He is still a year or two away from surgery but now wet have a plan. Plus we won't have to buy another hearing aid that costs more than my first car.

That's good news. Since you'll have all that extra money, should we expect a few extra Disney trips in the coming years? :thumbsup2 Continued prayers.

Morning guys. I was off the boards yesterday as I spent they day in a Generational Divide training class. It wasn't too bad and they reaffirmed to me that Gen X is still the best generation. ;)

Even worse than Old Style???? :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

The only people who enjoy Old Style are those poor saps that continue to be Cubs fans. They are used to that bitter swill taste. :lmao:

Good morning Dads :coffee:

Not a good image after reading the first half.:scared: Fully understand the second half.:(

This is the big leagues my friend. Any rookies will be expected to step it up on day 1, just like the nfl!;)

You are a Patriots fan, right? :wave2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

That stinks. Sorry about the continued weather issues. Sounds like hemp it is!

Maybe your summer employee know its fall?:confused3:lmao::lmao:

So go figure..the re-organization day for schools (meaning no classes) is the Friday before our Thanksgiving weekend.

Really?

Had we known this in advance, I would have postponed the August Trip to October. Yes we would have had to fly instead of drive, but could have had 10 days at the World in cooler weather plus the F&W Festival AND MNSSHP, at the cost of only taking the girls out of 4 days of school.
I hope this becomes a regular occurance.

Well that is good news (other then the thought of surgery)

Yes he will. Right now he has full hearing on his left side and has moderate to severe hearing loss on his right side.
Great news!!!

Definitely just Wednesday.

Sorry about all the bad stuff coming together for you. Not fun at all. Hopefully things will get better.

There's been some talk about pushing Indiana to allow growing industrial hemp as well. Not sure it will go anywhere though.

Well, I hope it is a regular thing that you'll be able to take advantage of in the future. :thumbsup2

Crud.

Like the rest of you, when the extended family wants to go to WDW, they ask me to plan it. I was expecting to rent points for a week at BLT in the last week of August 2014. Now I'm told that other parts of the family want to go for a shorter trip in October and go off-site at my mom's time share (free). Shorter trip and considerably less magic. It wouldn't be so bad, but I made my Dec. 2013 trip off site because I was expecting the next one to be onsite. That will be three off-sites in a row!:scared1: I might need to sign up for a race down there just to get some onsite time even if it's just me (again).

Crisis Averted!
My mom (owner of the timeshare) has informed me that she doesn't have enough points to accomodate a group this size. That means we're going to have to stay onsite in 2014. Woo-hoo! I've never been so happy to have someone fail to come through for me.

Congrats on the let down!!!! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

TMI Randall. This is a family board. :lmao:

Other than you have to upload it to a site like photobucket before copying code to Disboards. FB is easier.

Many still view hemp as a moral crisis to drug use. But, we don't apply the same standard to corn growers for obesity. It's a crop, and KY, would financially benefit many.

)

I hear ya. They schedule a professional day for Sept 27, & then Fall Break starts Oct 7. If they would push date back 1 week, we could add an extra night to WDW trip.

Ummm..... Guess I needed to refresh my browser before I typed my response. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1
It was still very special. A little predictable, but I appreciate the effort.

Slow down there. I can only handle a little technology at a time. I'm still one of those people who avoid facebook.
Congrats. Have you started planning yet?

Step 1 of the planning process was to make sure I didn't have to stay onsite again. So yes! The planning is underway. I won't bother doing the serious stuff until David-the-point-rental-guy confirms my request. The Dec 2013 trip is all set so I might as well start the next one.
