When did the budget become an issue?

Everyone we know that's been to St. Lucia loves it. The only thing that kept us away is that a lot of resorts have many steps to get down to the beach.

So we're looking at non-Disney ( ) trips for December. We're looking at either a trip to somewhere cold like Vail or Park City, but DW doesn't ski so it seems pointless to me. We're also looking at Aruba. Does anyone have an great family trip ideas for December? DW has tasked me with figuring out where to go, but the cheap guy in my head just keeps yelling "we have annual passes every second of vacation should be spent at Disney."

What is this thing called non-Disney vacation? They do have a Disney resort in Hilton Head, Vero Beach, and Hawaii for those trips.

If you want to use those passes, how about California. You could do San Diego or San Fran with a side trip to DL for a couple of days. Satisfying, yet slimy. You get to make that cheap guy happy, stay warm and do stuff other than Disney. I think I just solved my problem as well. Woo-hoo!

Can you use APs at the different resorts? If you get APs at WDW, can you use them at DL?

Well....today's gotta be better than yesterday right?

Beverly of a Monday. Worked 7:30a to 6:30 last night non-stop....no lunch hour.

Couldn't even leave to pick up my sick DD from school because my co-worker had already left to pick up his DS from school!

On that note - I do ask for your prayers. My DD has a recurring issue and the pediatrician is thinking we may have to go see a specialist. I'll know more tomorrow after the labs come back. She seemed to be in better spirits this morning and went back to school (thank you antibiotic!).

Parade float ownage!!!!

Howdy Fellow dads, hope all is well, prayers go out to everyone who needs them. DDs daycare asked her to be on their Christmas float this Sunday during our city christmas parade and of course my Diva DD said yes. I'm excited that she got picked and she wanted to do it.

Well today's specialist visit has turned into three more appointments now, including tomorrow morning. Another work day missed, just as well, stomach is not keeping much down.

Good news though, this Doc gets right to the point and wants to cover all angles to make sure a proper diagnosis is reached. I like that.

Yeah, I never wanted to go to Dr. House if I got sick. He tried to kill the patient for 55 minutes before getting the right dx and treatment.

Longest post ever this week. I got lots of words. It just takes time to remember them all. Could be the Alzheimer's - Could be the prep work for the cruise in 26 days - Could be, hey let's go ride bikes.
