Morning guys! Still dont want to be at work.

Tried to get a run in yesterday for the first time in almost a month. I got about a mile in and I could literally feel the congestion on my chest. Slowed down and walked a few laps, but I'm coughing more now after the run. Go figure.

I'm with you on both. Don't really want to be here at work. I guess I'll have to do a lot of posting today.

Still not able to run from surgery a year ago. I tried on the treadmill again last night. The knee starts to hurt after about 3-4 minutes. Wait a week and try again.

I spending the morning getting ready for a management team meeting for a group that we are one of managing partners. It is my least favourite meeting to attend.

Good luck with the meeting. We are negotiating a stock buyout from a former officer that we terminated years ago for non performance. After years of lawsuits, I think he finally figured out he was not performing. Hopefully today will end the mess.

This meeting could get a little testy. One of the other groups has been trying to quietly take over and the rest of us have had enough. The meetings are usually a bit uncomfortable so this one should be great!

been down for the count with a little stomach bug thing. Another day away from work I guess. Not going to cancel this afternoon's specialist appointment though, I want to solve the lung issues.

My neighbor started his own VC company about a year and a half ago and we frequently discuss these types of things as well as the normal good/bad idea stuff. I seem to excel at asking the right questions to make everyone uncomfortable because usually no one has thought of it or has an answer. I don't know if thats good or bad, but hey.....I have a reputation to uphold.

Couldn't even leave to pick up my sick DD from school because my co-worker had already left to pick up his DS from school!

On that note - I do ask for your prayers. My DD has a recurring issue and the pediatrician is thinking we may have to go see a specialist. I'll know more tomorrow after the labs come back. She seemed to be in better spirits this morning and went back to school (thank you antibiotic!).
