I don't think I can catch up after being away yesterday but my guess is there isn't much meat left on the bone in this thread. Just thought I'd get at least 1 more in before it's shut down.

I went LED for the strands on the house, and I've been pulling out the old lights from the sculptures and replacing them with LEDs as well. Some still have the old lights in them.

bought a 9' artificial tree on clearance last year. That will be the big addition to the yard display.

Didn't even think of changing the existing bulbs when they go out. Thanks for the idea. See you can learn from reading the posts during the thread close. We have several trees aquired over the years. We bought the small ones this year that go along the driveway/walkway. I know a lot of our stuff got damaged in a storm 2 years ago. No decorations last year due to patella repalcement surgery in the December. . Hopefully most of it is working.

Well, we sat down and looked. I was shopping for 11's at the end of the model year. Finding the options I wanted for a price I wanted to pay just wasn't happening.

I'd sleep anywhere... It's my dw that will have the problem.

I prefer to think of a new thread as a bare bone, and as it progresses, we are adding the "meat"... so this one has got a lot of meat on it now!! (or maybe we're adding fat?? )

I've been trying to do that with all of them. I scored a good clearance deal one year at Sears on LED light strands and used those inside my snowmen. The wires were green instead of white, but at night you can't tell.

we were members for one year (or six months if that's the subscription cycle) I think the CC we used expired and we never renewed. Once I clear up some of this CC debt, perhaps we will join again.

I did notice that some bookstores have the D23 magazine for sale.
