I prefer to think of a new thread as a bare bone, and as it progresses, we are adding the "meat"... so this one has got a lot of meat on it now!! (or maybe we're adding fat?? )

That's not too far off but I tend to think that the closings eat away at what was built up. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I mean, who wants to waste meat?

we were members for one year (or six months if that's the subscription cycle) I think the CC we used expired and we never renewed. Once I clear up some of this CC debt, perhaps we will join again.

I did notice that some bookstores have the D23 magazine for sale.

that does make more sense. Or perhaps it's more like a container of spam. We fill it with something that resembles meat, but really isn't. And when we get to the end, we cram in as much of a gelatinous susbtance as it can hold.

Was the Mag worth it?

I thought so. I still have them. And you get the occasional trinket thrown in, like luggage tags, or a mousepad, or something like that. I think I'd really like to go to one of their conventions. Obviously, the DDCC ranks above the D23 convention. I'd like to make it to both of them someday. (Provided the first ever DDCC doesn't become the ONLY DDCC.)
