Its Monday again, trying to recover from the weekend. Wish it was do to some wild adventure that included me waking up in Chicago with a Barbie doll and a bag of catnip, but it's mainly due to trying to fight off some stomach bug. Got to much to do to sit out of work, but would rather be home horizontal right now.

First and foremost, since I didn't get on here all weekend, I know it is a little bit late, but:

Happy (late) Veteran's Day and thanks to those of you who have or are serving our country.

Had a Beverly of a weekend. We've been doing some fall tillage work on the farm. We were hoping to get a couple of farms done Saturday, so I was working late Friday night to get a field done so we could move to the next farm on Saturday. I had a water pump belt break on the tractor at about 9:30 and didn't finish the field. Had to take 4 other belts and a few brackets off to get that pump belt on so it was noon by the time I got it running again Saturday.

On top of that, my new truck is in the shop for a warranty repair and my old reliable truck needs to get worked on. I lost my brakes on the way into work this morning.

Nothing seems to want to work right around here the past few days.

Oh, and took DW to "Skyfall" last night. Pure awesomeness.

DW informed me last night that Daniel Craig is officially on her "list", joining Hugh Jackman, Colin Firth, Zachary Levi and Chris Hemsworth. The list keeps getting longer... I'm not sure where I rank!

I might need to make DW take me to see it next weekend for my Birthday. She hates spy/action movies. She's still pissed that I convinced her to see Sherlock Holmes a few years ago.

I'm sorry her list keeps getting longer, but what about yours?

Cracked open the Terrible tonight

Heavy full bodieds beer, very dark, long lasting head. Very rich and fruity body, almost like a (ggod) fruitcake, only liquid, cold and 10.5% alcohol.

Got to it a lot later then I planned, while making space in the fridge, found a bottle of Unibroue Reserve 17, an anniversary ale we featured last year, and thought "in for a penny, in fir a pound" and opened it first. It was 10%, so my head, it'd be spinning.

Sounds like a nice evening.

I am getting two of them One for wife and one for me.She goes in Dec,and I go in Jan so for the $399 we cant go wrong..We will be going again in the summer so It works out well for us.Not sure if we need the premium pass but what the heck still cheaper then reg AP.
