DW made Reuben sandwiches and we're now watching Kithen Nightmares. I always get interested in opening my own restaurant after I watch it, but then I am reminded I really don't want to work that hard.

Evening all! Hope all is well! Blessings and prayers to all who need them, congrats to all who deserve them!

Here in Ontario we are still not responsible enough....still gotta go to the beer store.

In NB we go to the liquor store for beer, wine and spirits. There are also some agency stores (usually a convenience store) outside of the cities and towns.

On to the Kronenbourg 1664, just like WS, not. Well I am in Montreal, a French city.

Good Evening Gentlemen,
The wife is off scrap booking and my parents have the kids for the weekend. Looks like two whole days of bachelor living. :woohoo::woohoo:

I feel the same way after watching Restaurant Impossible. DW would love to open an Italian place but we're not at a stage in life right now to take the leap.

Not bad. I had it at Chefs de France this trip.

I was thinking more like "My Cousin Vinny", with a menu that reads breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything is fried in lard on the griddle.

Congrats. 17 years for me. Not sure if it is a good thing or not. Do you get a pension or any other benefit after so many years?

Already have a pension thanks to the union, decent one too. Actually topped up my contibutions for the year, so paycheques are a little bigger now till January. :thumbsup2 No other benefits, the extra week of vacation is when I get 18 years full time, not total years worked, no it'll be 2018 till that happens. :headache: 10 more years, I get a watch :sad2:

OK there isn't much on TV in this hotel so I have the tube on Ellen. The two guys from the Twilight series come out and there are women in their 50s crying. What the Beverley!

All the beer talk sent me to the store. Gotta love Quebec, beer in the store.

Trying a Wernesgruner and watching Canada's Worst Driver.

Good times.

Wernesgruner is one of the "cheap beers" here...thoughts?

On to the Kronenbourg 1664, just like WS, not. Well I am in Montreal, a French city.
Much better stuff IMHO

Beer at the moment is Samuel Smith Organic raspberry Ale...trying ti clean outr the fridge a little

Evening guys! Another good week slinging steel (selling RV's) here in beautiful West Michigan! Looks like the last weekend of nice weather, but firearm deer season opens next Thursday. Time to fill the freezer.

Ontario season must have started earlier, co-workers in the middle of a two-week hunting trip as we speak (type?)

Opened my Terrible Beer...

Very dark, but not at all what you would expect from a dark beer. It looks like a Guinness. But is really smooth and citrusy with a caramel kick to it.

It tastes like no other beer I've ever had. Kinda weird.

It's also quite carbonated, almost like a cola texture.

Terrible is definitely not terrible.

Is it worth $10.75? The first bottle definitely is... but would I buy it again... probably not.

Oh, and it is 10.5%, but you can not tell when drinking it. Very very subtle.

Hey Brent - did you crack your terrible open yet?

Gameplan is tomorrow night. DW and kids are going visiting, I'm staying home, and cracking it open

Talked to a customer today, a real beer guy. Thought the batch of Terrible tasted closer to Unibroue's Trois Pistoles the Terrible. I remeber thining about a glass of port last time I did have it, hope it is like I remembered.

Sounds like it's worth it to try though. May look for it in the liquor stores around here this weekend...

Sorry it was a rough day. I usually speak in code to avoid getting in trouble that way. My buddies know I like to reference Tom Hanks' knock-knock joke from the movie Catch Me If You Can. So if someone's getting on my nerves and I say, "Do you want to hear me tell a joke?" they know where I'm going with it. :thumbsup2

That is one of my Fav scenes. Thanks for the kind words

Thanks AirGoofy! I'm lovin the dues system you have set up. Can I pay with that chocolate sheet cake from Costco with the chocolate mousse filling? I'll add strips of bacon to the top (from Costco of course...) if it increases the value.

I'll take that payment
