Good mourning all it's Election Day in America. Only a few hours of political commercials left for our viewing pleasure.

I want to see skyfall... and wreck it ralph... and the hobbit... and flight...

but not Red Dawn. no interest in that remake.

Many good movies to take in. I was tempted to take in Skyfall at the Imax in Montreal this week while I'm away. Dw told me not to bother.

I will probably wait on Red Dawn. Still like watching the old one but I don't think either is a "go to the theatre" movie.

I agree. Still think Connery was the best and then it is either Craig or Brosnan.

I agree on Connery. I was a huge Bond fan until they started pumping them out like Steven King novels. I haven't seen a new Bond film in years.

I vote Roger Moore. Some of those movies are unwatchable.

Moore has some pretty bad Bond movies but I think he knew they were getting bad and played the role in a campy way.

I went and voted this morning. The line was longer than I've ever seen, even 2008. I talked to my neighbor who works at the polls and she told me that she's never seen it like that either. She said she had to be there at 4:45 this morning and there were already people waiting to get in and vote. It really is exciting to see this kind of turnout and excitement for the political process... even if I can't stomach half of the politicians.

Parent teacher conference was this evening. It went well. I was glad to see Ethans grades improve so dramaticly after being moved to the class to help with his dislexia. Lauren's grades are great but she is starting to not listen intently in class. She is a social butterfly....going to be a long edumacation for her!!

Glad to hear Ethan is doing better. At least Lauren is apparently a friendly girl.

Good idea, Norm. I wish our polling place gave stickers away. They NEVER have them. Not that big a deal, but I always come to work and see people with the "I Voted" sticker and I feel like I'm un-American or something.

Apparently here in Indiana, we have to choose between 2 incarnations of Satan for Senator. According to the commercials they're both the devil and want to eat our first born or something like that.
