Our CEO and his wife are season ticket holders and often even travel to away games. The suite is primarily an event to reach out to some corporate customers, but they always bring several employees within the company who interact on a daily basis with those customers.

From what I hear, our CEO's wife puts together a menu for a full meal before the game, snacks during the game and several bottles of wine as well as other beverage offerings. There are also swag bags with Colts gear for everyone. Pretty excited about finally being one of the privileged ones to get to go.

Kind of awkward though... One of DW's best friends works in my office and has been with the company 3 years longer than I have. DW was excited to go and asked if she was going to be there too and I had to explain that it it's just managers and merchandisers.
I don't envy you that conversation. It would be the same if I were in your shoes and it were a Viking suite.

I posted on the bragging wall. Thought I would mention it here. My DS started 7th grade this year at the middle school and took accelerated classes for each subject. His grades for the first trimester.....A+...A+...A...A...A-...A+. He really did an awesome job adjusting to the new school and worked hard onhis studies. really proud of him.

Said the the Wife: Sounds like we should reward him. How about a trip to DW.
Wife: No, we agreed 2014 is when we would go next.
Me: But he did so well that I am sure he needs a relaxing vacation.
Wife: We don't relax in Disney.
Me: We can this time, I promise.
Wife: Can we bring my mom and dad? (MIL/FIL)
Me: OK, 2014 it is.
:lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Big time congrats to DS, those are awesome grades...

Landfall for the storm has been moved up to around 5pm, Ground 0 will be anywhere from Atlantic City to Toms River, so where am I:confused3 Toms River is the next town over, I'm a little over 3miles inland, everyone who lives over the bridge on the barrier island (point pleasant, seaside etc) had to leave yesterday

All you can do is hope for the best, but I got a light at the end of the tunnel, will be in WDW Sun:thumbsup2

Was thinking about you(and the other Dads) tonight when my co-workers were checking on storm updates. Glad to hear that so far, everyone is okay.

Guess who gets to watch this week's Colts game from a suite!!! :woohoo::banana::yay::woohoo:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Stay safe guys, watched the news when I got home, not a pretty picture down there. We are only getting remnants of the storm, just stong gusty wind and rain here. Power's been out in different areas of the city, but neither work or home. Flipping between CNN and RAW tonight.

Had I known that keeping power through this storm would mean that DW would be spending the evening watching all her dvr'd shows, I would have gone outside and cut the power to the house at noon, and blamed it on Sandy... :headache:

Haha that would have been classic, I think DW would have killed me.

:headache: I would be sitting outside in the middle of the hurricane if she were into those shows. It's mostly prime time shows; Revenge is on now. The only saving grace is that the star of that show is easy on the eyes.:thumbsup2

Oh yes she is and she likes to wear low v neck dresses to show off the girls.

Sounds like a great time, been in the suite a few times with DM company. I wish the company would let us in on the Green Bay suite every so often, but it has never came up.

Update on DW: I will keep this short since focus should be on everyone in the East being safe.
We sit waiting to hear if DW will have a job after last week. She was placed on leave thurs pending an investigation of all the allegations leveled against her and will find out sometime after Tuesday if she has a job. So we wait, DW is already got 1 interview down and around 4 Tuesday, goal is to have a job lines up when we leave for Disney in 9 days.
If there is any Pixie Dust left after the hurricane please send us some.

Have a great trip :cool1:

We hope so. It turned from a relaxing no plans to a Schedule having to be printed to remember all the ADR and special events. It will be a fast paced vacation next week.

Mine is still on as well. I'm stuck watching Dancing with the Stars. And now you know why I am here. We lost power a couple of times for about 5-10 minutes, but it seems to be OK now. It is certainly windy out there.

To all those in the direct path, stay safe!

That bites!

Good luck, I hope it all works out for the best.

Watched the previews. Yes, she is easy on the eyes, but couldn't make it thru the first opening cliffhanger of an episode. I feel your pain. It is ok to have more than 1 TV in your house. :happytv:

or 5! None of them are connected though. SWMBO has a collection of TV shows on DVD she watches on one, the kids use one for the Wii, one is in front of the !@#% treadmill that cost way too much and only functions as a place to pile laundry. Two are packed away.

You bring up a good point; The easy solution would be to go watch TV in another room. But, then I'd be conceding the TV room. I think it's important for me to keep as strong a grip on this room as possible. DW and the kids have taken over all the other rooms, even my office... ;)

Just concede and claim the outdoors.

All that fresh air over the years has done me good (Tag Fairy Approved)

Morning Gents! I hope everyone made it through the night without too much damage.

Morning...ugh...I hate morning shifts right after working nights...

Hope everyone made it through the worst of ot, all safe and dry. many prayers.

Always enough prayers and Pixie Dust to go around...I am really pulling for DW.

Hope she does get something lined up, I don't think I would enjoy working there anymore. I had several bad experiences at my old job, and I left them hi and dry at the first opportunity. Just keep swimming!
