DW work drama continues, but on to happier news. Just ordered DW wedding band, I know I waited 2 years, it came in less than I expected. So hopefully it is ordered soon and she can stop nagging about when she is going to get one.

Storm update. Lots of rain and wind. Decent gusts at times. Most of it comes in bands and then settles down. FPL has a power outage tracker on their website and there about 200 customers in my area without power. Knocking on wood right now.

If you don't hear from me later tonight or tomorrow, you'll know the power is out.

Giants beat both my NL central teams and I have a hard time cheering for them. But, I do think Lincecum is a great pitcher to watch. Cabrera winning triple crown was pretty amazing. Bot, how can I cheer for Detroit. At least it is a good game thus far.

My grandfather was a huge Yankees fan. I grew up with the stories of all the Yankee greats. Don Mattingly was my favorite player as a kid

Beckett is the main card value, I'm sure they have a site, not sure if they have free lookup though

Yeah, that was what I was looking for. I wouldn't care to sell them as dds are interestd in baseball, but I would like to know what they are worth so I could gt a decent price for them.

The sad thing is unless you have a Wagner or something else ultra rare the value dropped big time pretty much in the late 90s, I collected and built up quite a bit of a collection and as a whole it is worth some but not what it once was

On eBay people are "trying" to sell don mattingly rookies for like 8-25 dollars, the card market really fell off a lot, I have folders and folders of cards stashed away that I prob couldn't get anywhere near what the value once was
