‘Morning all…

What’d I miss?

Happy Tuesday :thumbsup2

Today my wife and I have been married 19 years :cool1:

This woman is a saint! I think the only reason she didn't run at the alter was because we were going to Disney for our honeymoon :rotfl2:

And a Happy Anniversary to y’all.

Since Disney seems to have convinced her to go through with it…
Maybe you ought to go back to celebrate the next one.
We honored twenty years by sailing on the Dream.
I highly recommend the experience

Um....man law says I can't post a pic of myself in a speedo :scared1:

And that’s a good thing.

We went to dinner last night. We are trying to keep it low key as we our preparing for a possible big life change. More details to come.

iF that life change involves moving to WDW and taking your nemesis and his family and supporting them, then i think it's a great idea. Congrats on the anniversary.

Hmmm underbudgeting. I like that term.
)

It sounds better.

I have to cruise with you. You wearing that thing on the cruise? :scared1:

Happy anniversary David!:thumbsup2

Ohhh and if your reading this DW...I totally already have something awesome planned. I am not in any way frantically trying to come up with something because these posts just reminded me that this year will be 15 and I hadn't thought of that before this morning.

:lmao::rotfl2: Just get her a vacuum cleaner. Every woman loves that.

I found what I was looking for...

1703814_o.gif

I wonder who would get that reference. Still one of my favorites.

She has been all my DD will talk about ( good job Disney) princess Sophia , that name can go either way, it shouldn't matter what race she is, I know it doesn't matter to my DD

I didn't know and don't care. I think it's great to have the new princess movies be about a woman working hard or living her own dream as opposed to waiting for her prince to save her. Those are good stories for my dds and all girls to hear.

I try that, but she starts looking around for the squirrel:sad2::lmao: Zoo was nice, a bit on the busy side given that it was fantastic fall weather, and the leaves were in full colour in the area. Looking forward to a winter visit when it is nice and quiet. Heavy hype for next year there too, when they get in some Giant Pandas.
.

Our local zoo is small, and does not even have elephants. But, they have enough animals to enjoy and that family membership of $49 (for 4) is the right price.

Hope everyone has a great day. Feeling pretty good, got my 3.3 miles in yesterday, what a great day to run! Felt good, but I was sucking wind by the end of it. This running once a week doesn't help me at all.

Excellent work. I walked the hallways at work 3.3 times yesterday. Are you running in WDW thing against Barry & Tim?

We really need to start a pool with a list of runners and see who can pick the most accurate finish order of all the runners. CJ will provide a free week's stay at his house to the winner of the pool (and maybe the runner as well).

I have to keep you in suspense!!

Very interesting.....

So for years I like to "mock book" trips on Disneyworld.ca, trying different things to get prices etc. Relaxing fun (for me)....onecatch is with flights always had to book out of the US....until now. Just noticed we can book flights out of Canada now. Still will use my TA to book my actual trip, but found it a neat change nontheless.

They have planes in Canada?! Do they have ski's on the bottom so they can land and take off on the ice? You must have at least 10 feet of snow up there by now.:lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Friday is my 16th Anniversary. Sounds like a good excuse for a future anniversary meet in the world some time.:cool1:

Hope your day goes well!

Congrats! Our 19th was in August. Still not sure what to do for the big 2 0 coming up.

DW and I also cruised on the Dream for our 20th and followed it up with a park day. It was a wonderful trip!

Cruise Don! Cruise! :boat:

As for the pictures, she didn't say anything. She knows I may look, but would never stray.
I just kind of wondered. I know she always appreciated the abundance of princess pictures around here. :lmao:

Not a fan of either team but I will take the Giants over the Cards anyday.
::yes::

I saw the commercials on Disney Junior but I had no idea she was hispanic. Does it really matter what race she is? :confused3
:confused3 It shouldn't. :sad2:

Happy Tuesday :thumbsup2

Oooooh... a cliffhanger.

Absolutely! You can't go wrong there! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Actually, I think it does. Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, etc.... all Caucasian. Only recently has Disney started introducing minority princesses - Jasmine, Mulan, Tiana. It was a pretty big deal to my DD when Princess and the Frog was released because now there was a Disney Princess that looked like her. For the most part, kids are colorblind - but let's not kid ourselves. They see a lineup of Belle, Ariel and Rapunzel and they start to think "I guess I'll never get to be a princess."
Some people may call it pandering to certain ethnic groups in order to tap into new revenue streams, but to those little girls that now have a connection to a princess, it means a lot.

You chose… wisely.

Wish we were able to tag along on that one, but it’s going to be a while before we can even get back to Orlando much less Port Canaveral.
I’m expecting lots of pictures (just none that include a Speedo)

I can really get behind that law!

Do you really want to be behind it?

I’d say that’s going to be a “no”.

An excellent point says I.

Do you want to be in front of it? I want to go hide from it.

Scary, huh? But, if we pull off that mutiny and board 700+ Disdads, it would be cool.

I'll never know because I was raised in and live in mostly white areas of town. I'm sure your child has a completely different perspective than mine. What I know is that my then third grader came home from school and asked me, "dad, did you know there WERE black people?". Then, she proceeded to tell me about slavery and civil war. Maybe that is all she can handle developmentally, but it was the school system that introduced differences as opposed to me. When we did BBB a two years ago, my youngest selected the Tiana dress and still wanted to have her picture with Tiana this year. Hopefully, time will heal the past, terrible mistakes and am glad that Disney is placing more effort into having its characters be representative of the population.

Are they trying to do the same with wreck it Ralph due to childhood obesity in USA?

Just sitting here at Dulles airport waiting for my connection to Indy. The first flight was uneventful and im hoping for the same with this flight. At least this plane is bigger than the last one. I couldn't even stand straight up in the isle.

Oh, I'm heading to westfield, IN to help my friend move back to CT. We are driving back on Thursday. Don't trash the place while I'm gone.

Have a good trip! Make it a Lampoon's trip! :lmao:

Disney trip sounds like a good idea... ;)

Hmmm... we ARE getting APs this year.....:scratchin

Happy anniversary David!:thumbsup2

:lmao::rotfl2: Just get her a vacuum cleaner. Every woman loves that.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Works every time! If you want to stop at 20, that is. :rotfl2:

Ooooooooohh... hmmm... Not sure the bank could take two trips to WDW AND a cruise. But I like how you think!

Do you really want to be behind it?

:scared::crazy2: :lmao:

The dentist visit went well this morning. It's not every day you hear the dentists say "you have beautiful teeth". Have to admit I think I blushed a little. :rolleyes1

Found out today that the owner is a big Disney fan. The office had several display cases throughout the place. Here are a few pieces I was able to get pics of before I left. Quite the impressive selection... now I'm wondering what he has at home!
