Very impressive win this weekend. I really enjoyed watching that game and the K-State game Saturday. All is well with the world. Gators win big and the Hurricanes lose. Looks like they will stay the number two ranked team in the country. Good times. Sorry to see the former Head Ball Coach get beat so bad but hopefully they will win out.
The Purdue game... not so much. I'm glad that I was busy working early Saturday afternoon and didn't get to see much of it. If that coaching staff is still employed next year, I will not be buying any tickets. With the talent they have, there is no excuse for the crappy football they've been playing. The whole "playing not to lose" at the end was driving me nuts, and of course, bit them in the @$$. And for crying out loud, can we learn how to kick a frickin' extra point!?!?!?!?

So she knows the rules then. I miss you, but if you call while the Gators are playing, I won't answer.Talked to the kid at halftime.

Toto, I don't think we're in Florida anymore.Fall has come to campus. There is another kid from Miami there and they were talking, "The leaves turn red. And they fall on the ground." Can't wait for them to see their first snowstorm.
They'll be fine if they'll give the Peanut Butter ball to Ray Rice. He's the one of the best RB's in the league... use him!Really?
Actually, their best bet will be to fire Cam Cameron. Can somebody point out to me where he's actually had success in his career???

For some reason, I always have to stop what I'm doing and just sit and silently and watch when that intro starts.Sunday night Faith Hill short dress ownage.

Sounds more like the argument you should be getting from your DD... "but everybody else has one"How many of your children have cell phones? DW said that on 5th grade class field trip earlier in the month, of about 75 kids, only 20 didn't have some type of phone, and many had iPhones. She is wanting to get oldest dd a cell phone with text plan for Christmas, which is $9.99 to add along with cheap phone. How about you all? When did your child (or plan to) get a cell phone?

Truthfully, we're not anywhere near that age yet, but I don't see the need for a 5th grader to have their own personal cell phone. Maybe a prepaid or a dumbphone on a family plan to be used to call home if they're involved in after school activities so they can call if they need a ride. I just don't think a 5th grader needs one for social reasons.
Tim - you know she sings country music, right? Are you admitting to listening to it?![]()
The Sunday night football song isn't country...
Neither is this outfit.

And I quoted the picture, just because I think it needs to be on here once again.
Yeah, that's kind of what I'm talking about right there. Just basic phone access for emergency situations. She got hers in 6th grade. Mainly because her middle school was far from the house/work and we needed to let her know we would be late to pick her up and to go to a friends house. We blocked text and internet access so it was just the phone.
Her Psych class this semester is adolescent psychology so she will be well armed during the convention.
