Yes we've done it before many times...

I believe Scott had some when he was here, he can attest to it being good.

What kind are you bottling?

I believe tommorow we are bottling a Malbec Shiraz.

We make our wine at "The Brew Kettle" a local wine and beer making store.

They sell kits... essentially they make the wine, we just bottle it.

I do mine the old-fashion way, in the kitchen.

Howdy. Yes. We're in the process of adopting a 14 yr old girl from Ukraine. We got to hang out with her a lot in August and decided to adopt her. Crazy. We didn't even want any more kids, but just felt called to make this offer to this kid. What's crazier is that she agreed to it!! We're still in the home study phase and hope to have her here for good in the spring. She'll spend a few weeks with us in December. We're very excited. No word yet on when her first trip to Disney will be.

Congratulations!! That is awesome!!

Howdy guys...

I was just the hired help.

I was a huge Whalers fan but after they moved I couldn't follow them after what they pulled here. I could of switched teams to the Bruins or the Rangers but that WASN'T happening. So I just stopped watching all together. I do tune into the playoffs from time to time.

I miss the Whalers...good jerseys, colours etc....but you know, heaven forbid we gotta get teams in cities where they can draw 1000 fans a game!

Its good stuff. My daily Scotch is William Grant. It is made by Glenfiddich and is the best blend for the money IMHO.

Try Famous Grouse, it's made by Macallan

We had Pizza... nothing exciting at all.

But I want to go out and buy some Mini Cheesy Bees Nests.

This is from a Canadian Grocery Store chain. Their "house" brand is Presiden't Choice... which isn't really a house brand, as it is better than most national brands.
Well, they run a reality show called Recipes to Riches, where home cooks compete to have their products become a President's Choice product.
This weeks winner was this. They just hit stores today... and I think I have to pick some up.

DW watched that the other night....watch/record it Halloween night, apparently an old friend of DW's appears....DW also notes she's been on a spending spree lately too...

You mean mechanics aren't as good to eat with as princesses?? I know their hands are always dirty, but they are probably good conversationalists, right?

First off, thanks for all the “Thanks”s guys. I’d have gotten that stats together sooner, but October is a might busy in my house. And then there’s that Beverly work thing…

On the up side, it’s the weekend and we’re traveling again. That’s the fun part of my busy October. Its marching band season and the competitions are in full swing. We were in Alabama last week competing in a six state regional. Long day that included a third place finish against some very tough (and very large) schools. Tomorrow is the Upper SC Regional. We’ve also been bumped up to a new class this year against some of the bigger names in the state. The kids need to be in the top six tomorrow to secure a spot in the state finals.

Hope y’all have a great weekend… I’m looking forward to mine.

Get a retail job and save enough for a bus tickets to the Canadian border. Someone will get in touch with you when the coast is clear...either that or you could pretend you're sick. FED is on vacation. Norm is taking his watch, so unless you have lots of alcohol I would prepare to settle in for a long night!

That wouldn't work. I had to finish off the alcohol before the wife and kids got back and live in a dry county. I doubt if the hosts, the pastor and his wife, have anything in storage either.

Their attendance wasn't horrible but it wasn't the greatest either...

The worst was that last year when they promised they would stay in Hartford with good attendance.

Best wishes and safe travels to the band and crew. Band is one of the very few things I enjoyed about school. Got my trumpet from my parents the last time I saw them and will have to get back in shape to teach my kids.
