Oh Deer... :sad2:
Hmm quoted that last night because I enjoyed the pun. Unfortunately its 10 pages back now...

Why is it that some days I can pour coffee just fine, and others, it spills. Any scientific research to this?
Once had a coffee carafe that no one could pour from without spilling. It was very frustrating. Coffee carafe designers have to make something that can:
1. Hold hot liquid
2. Pour successfully
How can they fail at one of those things.

I was a huge Whalers fan but after they moved I couldn't follow them after what they pulled here. I could of switched teams to the Bruins or the Rangers but that WASN'T happening. So I just stopped watching all together. I do tune into the playoffs from time to time.
There are usually a couple that show up at Cane's games in Whaler's shirts. I think there is a cult of hipster hockey fans. I liked your team before it existed.

It's the middle of October. They're probably all snowed in for the winter and have nothing better to do.

All that hockey talk/pictures from the last few pages reminded me of the cake that was at my wedding on Saturday night. It is hard to tell how big this cake is in the picture but it was 3 1/2 - 4 feet tall!!!!!

Sweet cake.

I can assure you while the contents may drop. the price of that sucker never will. :rotfl2: A now retired co-worker, an awesome English gentleman who had a great handle and knowledge on better wines and spirits, always proclaimed that Macallan was the "Cadillac of Scotch" I am not too much of a scotch drinker myself, prefer Canadian and American stuff personally, so I rely on picking up other's tastes.

That said also,I got to do a mini Macallans tasting, and the ones I tried were great, but no 18 yr....
Its good stuff. My daily Scotch is William Grant. It is made by Glenfiddich and is the best blend for the money IMHO.

Who let the Canadians get liquored up and take this place over last night???? :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:
Hey! I ain't Canadian. I just have the accent.

The first one almost looked like our state house until I saw the flag.

Morning gents. Allergies were acting up last night so I took 2 benadryl and now my day is 90 minutes late getting going. :confused3 I was never going to get caught up so it really doesn't matter.

Well… I see that just as I was asking about the interest level on the thread stats, that there was actually an inquiry into their whereabouts. Being as there is still some interest…

Here ya’ go:

Randal,
You’ll need to update the file names on the first page with these to get them to update there. I’ve taken to always changing the names so as to force everyone’s various browsers and apps to pick up the most current image rather then displaying whichever version is currently stored in their devices’ cache

oh, and for your entertainment pleasure. This is the video I submitted for the Mom's Panel earlier this week. The topic was your favorite Disney Parks memory, and it had to be under 1:00. Camcorder is busted, so I resorted to using the cell phone to get it done. Also had to include a special guest star...

Good luck. Your daughter alone might send you into the next round.

A hangover perhaps?

We have the same thing in Miami only ours is made of sand. All our ice goes into cocktails.

Scholarly repartee? I think you need a vacation.

Yes… yes I do :sad2:

If any of y’all happen to be driving by here on your way to Fla. please feel free to drop by and pick me up.
I don’t take up that much room.

Well… maybe I do, but I’d appreciate the ride none the less.

I think it’s directly proportional to just how desperately you are in need of said coffee.

It was weird, I felt like an outsider last night. :scared1:

:lmao:
You’ll get use to it.
I feel like that most of the time around here.

Have not heard these before, but I agree that they will work well in many settings.

Oh, and while I’m here…

"weinie"

Is this the Canadian equivalent of a sandcastle.

:rotfl2:

Woohoo I cracked the Top 30.

You’ve been a posting machine for the last several threads.
I say keep it up if you can. :thumbsup2

‘Morning all…
I’ve been missing for a few days, but I see that there has been some very intellectual and scholarly repartee taking place in my absence.

A couple of things occurred to me as I was enjoying the discussion on Scotch and hockey. First, this is only my third post in over fifty pager (work has been a Beverly to be sure). I’ve been reading, but can’t find the time to post much. Sad…

Second, I never got around to posting the stats from the last thread. I do have them if any of you are really all that interested in such. Just let me know and I’ll put them up later on.

Well, work beckons… I’ll try to check back in later on.

Work? I thought this was work? Work is what you do between postings.:rotfl:
