Look at the fun swag I got to bring home with me from my cruise.

Now if only I could have also brought home the Server and Assistant Server, and the practically unlimited food supply for our pantry too... it's always such a let down when getting home after eating all the shrimp, lobster and other goodies you want to a kitchen that serves a single entree with limited sides each night. :rotfl: I will say that I loved being on the late seating for the minimal amount of children in the dining room, but at the same time I did NOT like eating so late at night each day. It was nearly 9:30 each night by the time the entrees were served... normally when I'm turning the lights out in my DD's room after reading bedtime stories. We're 5:30 - 6:00 pm eaters typically, due to a variety of evening activities... so eating that late was just weird. But - the lack of squalling, noisy babies & toddlers (can you tell I'm just BEYOND that stage, and happy to be so - sorry to all of you who are in that stage now and will be for a while - I enjoy children a lot, really I do - I'm just turning into a cranky old Mr. Fredricksen I guess).

Anyway, it was cool to be able to bring home the menus as mementos from our cruise. I didn't swipe them either, our Head Server, gave them to me himself. I wish I'd been able to get the complete set from the week, but was very happy to get these. What's cool, is we didn't even attend the Formal Night dinner (Prince & Princess), as we ate at Palo that evening, and we still got the menus. And note the Happy Birthday button in the center - it came with a wonderful chocolate mousse dessert, with a neat thin chocolate with Happy Birthday written all over it. I'll have a picture of that in my blog entry on food soon enough.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

That is something to campaign on. 2 day work week.

One of those times I'm glad to be DVC. We aren't going next summer, but I never worry about the price.

Part of it sounds fun.

When the boss is away, we all work less than usual, :thumbsup2

You must have missed where David posted he is a certified bad A--. We would have wiped the floor with security and never been cuffed.

Good to see you made it this way.

That is a nice benefit. You looked really happy in that picture.

Like a kid in a Disney candy store :thumbsup2

Early night tonight. DD has to go to the orthodontics clinic in Lexington for an evaluation (pay us now or pay us later most likely) so we need to be out by 6 AM. I've gotten spoiled with them homeschooling. This will only be the 3rd time I have set an alarm since mid-August.:headache:

Glad to hear it is going well. When I win the lotto and move to Golden Oak, I will home school them by taking them thru 11 countries at the World Showcase as well as a safari experience and of course into space. Have a safe trip and good luck.

Don't forget Fantasyland... :lmao:

Morning good men of the DIS :woohoo:

And good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

Greetings gents!

I see you moved into a new place while we were on the cruise. We're home now, and excited to plan our next cruise. As my DW told a friend of hers on FB when asked how the cruise was, the ship definitely lived up to its name - MAGIC. I'm looking forward to when we might enjoy the other ships in the DCL fleet.

Just popped in to say hello and get the new thread into the subscription file. Have a great week!

Glad you had a great trip! Nice swag!

Wow. Finally all caught up. Had no idea the old thread was closed and the new one started!! Good thing Randall was here to keep things going.... great job, Randall! :thumbsup2

Been a busy week. Checked out the local indoor go-cart place with DD on Thurs night. Had a blast! 3 races for me... 2 for DD. I ended up taking the 6th fastest time for the day on my first visit. Not too shabby. DD LOVED it and begging me to get a membership there now. I think I've created a speed demon here :lmao:

Friday was a quarterly meeting within our department... about 200 folks in attendance. Boring updates.... mandatory stuff coming. Good thing s was the meeting was only 1/2 day. So grabbed the golf clubs and hit the local TPC course for 18. Beautiful day. Too bad my score didn't reflect it. :rotfl2:

Then this weekend I got the chance to go skeet shooting for the second time ever. I think I have found a new hobby. Feels great to be able to blow stuff up as it's flying through the sky ::yes::

ok... back to work. Only took me a few hours to get through the 20+ pages this morning. Sheesh.

Tell me about it! Keeping up with the boards is a full time job!

The monster truckers U-turned the tall guy/short guy team (sorry, not up on names yet). The tall guy/short guy team narrowly beat the random blonde girls to the mat when the girls' driver took a wrong turn.

Needing some more character development this season. No one is really standing out...

Morning all. Busy weekend here geting the house ready fro the twin's birthday party in a couple of weeks. Last night DS stumbled off a curb and took a header. He was responsive last night but had a headache. He still had it this morning when he woke up. So, today is just a chill day.

Hope you guys are feeling better today.

Nemie, hope he's ok. I'll tease you another day

Thanks, I hope so too. We got back an hour ago, so hopefully, it if were more serious, they would have called by now. Still, bronchitis for someone who has asthma is not pleasant.

I have asthma and gotten bronchitis. It blows. Good wishes coming your way. Check your mail.

Glad to hear. Should we avoid pictures, or it didn't happen?
