Today's a good day and I only said peanut butter and Beverly when my daughter 's school called to tell me she ate a Rock.
Me thinks someone doesn't know the rules to Rock Paper Scissors very well. Hope she's OK.

Big day for the Duck! I am attending my first ND game inside of Notre Dame Stadium. :cool1:

I grew up a stones throw from ND and it was my dream to attend there. Economic issues at home did not allow that to happen. But, things happen for a reason and now I can check one more thing off the bucket list.
Saw the pics. Looks like a great time.
Next stop, Yankee Stadium :thumbsup2:thumbsup2
Holy crap, why?:crazy2:

We're smart enough to know how to use a hatchet when we need fire wood
:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Good morning. Busy weekend, but productive. We're rolling through harvest around here and should be done soon. Corn sucks like we expected, but the beans aren't too far below average numbers. As far as profit goes, the corn is in the red, but the beans are going to be good enough to let us try it again next year. :rotfl2::rotfl:
When Madison was little, my brother - the farmer - was teaching her animal sounds. When he was done, she knew the following:
What does a cow say? "Moo Moo Moo"
What does a pig say? "Oink, Oink, Oink"
What does a horse say? "Neigh, Neigh, Neigh"
What does a farmer say? "Whine, Whine, Whine"

:rotfl2:

That's good news! I would expect nothing less from a magical fruit. :rolleyes1

Had the DVR set to record Amazing Race last night, but a storm rolled through at around 8:30. I guess I should head over the Chris' Facebook commentary to see what happened.:surfweb:

Doc and I talked up quite a storm. As usual it came down to a bad cab driver.

Greetings gents!

I see you moved into a new place while we were on the cruise. We're home now, and excited to plan our next cruise. As my DW told a friend of hers on FB when asked how the cruise was, the ship definitely lived up to its name - MAGIC. I'm looking forward to when we might enjoy the other ships in the DCL fleet.

Just popped in to say hello and get the new thread into the subscription file. Have a great week!

There's a lot of truth right there.

I try to be realistic about things though. After the summer we had, I'm glad to be in the position we're in right now. It could have been much, much worse.

That's good news! I would expect nothing less from a magical fruit. :rolleyes1
:thumbsup2 :rotfl:

You certainly did. I had a hard time following who did what though. I take it the random blond girls are gone now?

I think somebody said the monster truckers got a U turn. How did they end up doing?

That picture was taken just before he was tackled and cuffed. :rolleyes1

Stopher! Glad you enjoyed the cruise. :thumbsup2

But, at least it was Notre Dame jail, lol

Very well, thank you. And you?

Not bad. Busy morning working on mode flow drawings, but ok.

I am the best hubby in the world. Just bought the wife and I tickets to see Mary Poppins in December for her birthday.

We went to see it a few months ago.... Awesome show.

It's a little different than the movie. We really liked it though....:thumbsup2

You will enjoy it.

OK, what the heck is going on? Been under the weather and have not spent much time on the boards. I come back to a new thread, find out Don has retired and Randall was promoted. Had to search back to see what happened.

Don, thanks for all you have done building this little clubhouse. I still owe you a beverage. Randall, congratulations, I think. Your first new place looks good.

Went to the Doctors and things were doing just OK. Long story short, he thought about checking me into the hospital to run some tests. Talked him out of it and after a few visits to his office and in house tests, adjusting the drugs, things are much better. Still here kicking.

Celebrating my non hospital stay by going to the Keys tomorrow. May dive but not sure right now. Norm, you can't say anything because you are at the World right now. You have me beat.

I know I have missed Jason and Ryan's birthday (hope they were good ones) and I am sure other stuff. Thoughts to those in need, pats on the back for those who should be congratulated.

Thanks, CJ... and I hope you are feeling better!

I always thought Emma's Dad did these? Well anyhow I am here.

I'm just a regular Don now! :rotfl2:

You are welcome Norm! I tried to get Don to name one for you, but he never did, so I felt I would do it!

Ummmmm.... well... you see... what had happened was... :rolleyes1

I must have said something to P.O. Don. Can't imagine the specific words.

Oh yeah... now I remember. :lmao: Actually, no... you did not. I stopped naming threads because I didn't want to play favorites... and it would take a while to get through all the DIS Dads names. :rotfl:

I loved teaching. I had a different career opportunity and we moved to Indy. ATA is good, I think it's bad wrap comes from some baggage a long time ago. I started TKD when I was a kid so I remember all of the fighting for recognition.

Since we homeschool I do teach my daughters but no one else. I have a 3rd degree black belt in TKD and. 2nd in Hapkido.

I don't think we have an ATA school in Indy anymore. We invited them to a tournament once and it was great, they brought something like 30 students!

That's a lot of dedication there. Remind me not to get you POd.:rotfl2:

We have ATA here and had DD taking a few classes this summer through a Groupon listing. The folks running the show are good... but the sessions were only 30 minutes long, they were short staffed, and DD barely learned anything in the short time they had (between stretches at the front and end of sessions). Too costly for the amount of learning she received. We won't be back there any time soon.

Morning Guys!!

Had a quick, if tiring, weekend. Hallow Scream at BG WIlliamsburg was ok, but its def. not for young kids anymore. They used to have a "pumpkin" rating for how scary trails and other attractions are, not the just give a blanket "Parental Guidance is strongly suggested past 6PM". Still had a good time and even got a turkey leg out of the deal, but for the price of a 1 day WDW tickets it was a bit disappointing.

Matt

Oh man... yeah... I could have givin you a heads up on that. We have not stayed past 6pm, but thankfully we have the season pass and it's not a big deal for us to only spend a few hours there.

Haha that's great, that def made me laugh on a Monday morning

Wow. Finally all caught up. Had no idea the old thread was closed and the new one started!! Good thing Randall was here to keep things going.... great job, Randall! :thumbsup2

Been a busy week. Checked out the local indoor go-cart place with DD on Thurs night. Had a blast! 3 races for me... 2 for DD. I ended up taking the 6th fastest time for the day on my first visit. Not too shabby. DD LOVED it and begging me to get a membership there now. I think I've created a speed demon here :lmao:

Friday was a quarterly meeting within our department... about 200 folks in attendance. Boring updates.... mandatory stuff coming. Good thing s was the meeting was only 1/2 day. So grabbed the golf clubs and hit the local TPC course for 18. Beautiful day. Too bad my score didn't reflect it. :rotfl2:

Then this weekend I got the chance to go skeet shooting for the second time ever. I think I have found a new hobby. Feels great to be able to blow stuff up as it's flying through the sky ::yes::

ok... back to work. Only took me a few hours to get through the 20+ pages this morning. Sheesh.

Feel free to take me with you on your next DCL cruise! :thumbsup2

Mornin' Gentlemen!

This Monday is starting off a little better than most....both the Boss and the boss's son are still on vacation! :cool1:

Less stress will be had by all! :thumbsup2
Sounds pretty good. Everyone's Mondays are my Saturdays. I don't mind Mondays.

Now you'll have to bring her to Richard Petty in WDW. :hyper:

Thanks for the info! I paid the extra and got the Orchestra seats, hope she likes it. My brother has already agreed to babysit, so we should be good!

Its all good Don, I was looking around for anyone that looked like you or Commando.

Morning all. Busy weekend here geting the house ready fro the twin's birthday party in a couple of weeks. Last night DS stumbled off a curb and took a header. He was responsive last night but had a headache. He still had it this morning when he woke up. So, today is just a chill day.

Morning guys, doing my pirate: imitation this AM without the cool hat. Had a failure of my veil last night while working the bees. Left eye swollen shut. First time I have had bees inside the veil. Several painful stings but it could have been much worse.

Morning evyone. We went to the Miller House (home to the bourbon bar) restaurant with FIL and his new girlfriend for DW's birthday dinner. We had a really good meal. I did manage 1 bourbon (Basil Hayden) but haven't been feeling well since I got he from WDW, and not for the obvious reason, but coughing, blowing nose, and just yuck. I keep popping my ears. I was hoping it was just allergies, but it sounds like it is evolving into something more.

Hope you guys are feeling better today.

The monster truckers U-turned the tall guy/short guy team (sorry, not up on names yet). The tall guy/short guy team narrowly beat the random blonde girls to the mat when the girls' driver took a wrong turn.

ok... back to work. Only took me a few hours to get through the 20+ pages this morning. Sheesh.

Now that you're off the clock, you can do like the rest of us and start skimming...:rolleyes1 :rotfl2::rotfl:

I see. I guess what it all comes down to is that the episode I missed had a non-descript team that I didn't even really realize existed come in last. I guess I really didn't miss anything at all then. :thumbsup2 :rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

Hmm. I feel lost, nice new digs. :rotfl2:

Hello all! Back from a great 7 days in Negril with the wife. It was quite the stress reliever and nice to have some time to reconnect with each other. Between all the food and alcohol that beverly of a scale tells me that I gained 8 lbs last week! Now I'm back and see that the countdown to DDC is under 90 days. Time to get running some more. Yippee!

Thanks and hope your little guy is feeling better today. Always scary when they are that age.
