Just got the call from work that we are no longer on "Lock Down" at work after a bad shooting here in Milwaukee. I was so not looking forward to dealing with police check points and high security.

just stopping in to say hi. ive had a cold the last few days and thats doing better now that i have to go to work monday.
i had to run in this morning and get a water heater out for someone. of course it was double stacked and i pulled a muscle in my lower back. WORKMANS COMP!!!!!!!!!

ill take pain killers and go to work. i cant sit home and do nothing. not to mention this is our busy time.

Hope your back feels better. I have that disc thing, so when mine goes out, it takes a while to recover and it is painful.

Won our last regular season game, 2-0. No subs, so a long 50 minutes. Always glad to see the shut out. My dd got a ball kicked into her nose today - no blood - and after a momentary gasp and play stoppage - she kept playing.

A friend told me that Pearl (arts and crafts type place) had half off on a lot of their picture frames. Bought a bunch and finally put some diving pics on the wall. Here are a few that made it.

This Titans/Bills game is going to come down to which teams D is worse, both look pretty bad, but the upside is both offenses look amazing!

Being a Bills fan builds character to get use through the lake effect snows, and the Sabers' season. I would have traded a little character for just one Super Bowl win though.

How many of your children have cell phones? DW said that on 5th grade class field trip earlier in the month, of about 75 kids, only 20 didn't have some type of phone, and many had iPhones. She is wanting to get oldest dd a cell phone with text plan for Christmas, which is $9.99 to add along with cheap phone. How about you all? When did your child (or plan to) get a cell phone?

We won are game tonight 1 - 0 to claim the first spot in the league final. Third year in the league for me and third time my team has been in the final. This will be the second time I actually get to play the game.

My oldest is in 5th grade and no phone. I still have to remind him to use soap on his face. I just don't see the need even if he was responsible. I survived for many years without a phone in my pocket. Probably when he starts driving I'll through a Tracfone or something similar in the glove box for emergencies for him.

Congrats to you as well. I'm fairly confident we'll get to final game in tournament, but not sure we can get past the one team we'll play there.

Do they have Family plans with shared minutes?

I've thought that we would get a spare phone (not spart phone) that is part of a family plan, therefore we don't pay extra for it. And it stays in the house... if the kids go out to to a friends for the evening, they can take the phone ONLY to call home. Or if I have company from out of town, I can give them the phone to carry for the week.

Wow. No subs? You got some good players there. My team of rec U10 girls is a motley bunch. Half have never played the game before and are out of shape. Haven't won a game yet... but we've scored 2 goals! . One of those girls took a corner kick right to the nose. Didn't even try to move and had plenty of time to do so. My first bloody nose to take care of as a coach. Lots of crying and all. Thank goodness her grandma was there to take over.
