Yeah the 3D Glasses give me such a headache wearing them for 2hrs or so. I dont blame her!

She got the Samsung Galaxy S III

Seems like a pretty cool phone.

Screen is a bit bigger than the iPhone

I am not super familiar with the Android OS, but it's very similar to the iOS

We have 3 years to form an opinion...

Yeah we are going iPhone 5 after the first ones get the bug worked out. Its better to be sheep then the guinea pigs!

I don't like the 3D movies either. I can't wear the glasses that long.

Funny I laughed when I first read your response. But honestly it is about 3.5 feet between your head and the glass. I could miss that if I woke suddenly. But I would be more worried can I turn the lights off so I could sleep?

I can handle the 3D glasses but afterwards my eyes do hurt for a bit so with DD not liking them it doesn't hurt my feelings, less people in the cheaper showings anyways.

Norm, congrats on the win, hope you didn't have to bribe those kids too much haha

Did not end up with a hangover this morning, well not much of one, drank plenty of water when I got home and took an Advil too

With the trip so close DD getting really excited

About 5 months ago I got called into a meeting to discuss my team, when I got there I had an HR rep waiting for me to tell me they were letting me go and escort me from the building. It wasn't performance related or anything, they were just reorganizing the department. Since then, they have let over 150 people go so at least I know it wasn't me. Rumor is the company is up for sale and they wanted to make it look good on paper by cutting salaries.

So anyways, I decided that until I was working I would stay off Dis and most of my other online activities until I was working again. I didn't want to be too comfortable being at home and force myself to focus on looking for work.

I started my new position this week! I'll be managing a team who does IT support for Gulfstream Aerospace.

Welcome back Randy. I am glad that you found something. Gulfstream seems like it would be a fun company to work for.

Spent yesterday on a "Cow hunt", Raleigh and the nearby cities are doing the event where they paint the cow statues and place them around town. We managed to check off about 30 yesterday.
The good part of the plan was to start with the ones in other cities that were about 30 minutes away so we would be done today before football started. The bad part was the fact I didn't realize my plan put us in Chapel Hill looking for cows while UNC was playing ECU, and the majority of the cows were within half a mile of the stadium

Uhhhh Chapel hill at game time can be nuts. I hope it didn't take you too long to get out of there.

Yeah, the theming I would probably leave up to them, I would want some sports stuff and Disney. As for the design, it depends on the house, but I would like to see it as a room divider so that it can be seen from both sides. I had an idea for a second room tank. I was thinking about having one room, floor to ceiling tanks on all four walls, including the area over the door and the ceiling. Then, A nice recliner that rotates 360 degrees in the center to enjoy it.

I've always wanted a bathtub or Shower tank.

Saw Finding Nemo 3D last night, and was amazed by it. So well worth it. Didn't get to the chinese buffet though, place was PACKED, didn't have that long to wait, so went elsewhere.

Girls have already lined up Hotel Transylvania, Frankenweenie and Monsters Inc 3D to see next, and I personally want to see Wreck-It Ralph, this is going to get $$ before long
