They said there were more than 100 bourbons. Many from KY. They had a New York bourbon that bartender said wasn't good (Hudson?) and a Japanese bourbon they can't call bourbon since not a US product, but it is over 50% corn mash.

We have a DisDad's FB club as well as a closed group. I think Aaron can add you, but not sure who else has admin privileges. iPad is not good for showing pics on FB. I can't read wht's in your shirt.

Obviously, yes, I had my first gin n tonic at 8 and my first beer at 10. My granddad worked at the distillery.

I think Woodford reserve is too peppery. I'll buy the makers 46 next time at the store after I drink the rest of my Woodford rerserve.

The eggs I had for breakfast looked like they were burnt for the amount of pepper I added. I can live with that

We have the Buffalo Trace and the Basil Hayden at the store. The only other one Iwould bute on is the Eagle Rare 10yr old, I've read that it is nice stuff. Newest bourbon we've got is Elmer T Lee, but I'm not sure on age etc.

Don't think I saw the Elmer at the bourbon bar, but it could have been there. They offer flights offer 4 bourbons, from a preset mix of rye or wheat blends, or a custom one for $14.00. I'm willing to take any of you there anytime you come and visit me - just saying.

It ws good. Or, I was too drunk to tell. I thought Makers 46 was the best of the 3 I tried tonight. I may try Basil Hayden first the next time. Ther really is a KY bourbon named "Big A$$" out of Bardstown. Might have to try that one eventually.

Good Evening!!

I hope everyone's Labor Day weekend is off to a good start. and I further hope that it's got more rest and relaxation in it than actual labor!!

Unfortunately, mine had some labor in it today. We did manage to take advantage of the nice weather and get out to the beach this morning for a little bit. I loved the fact that our town beach pass gets us into a less crowded beach and we weren't stuck in all the beach traffic for the public beach!!

work was uneventful. phone met the floor today... and now my screen is cracked. the screen still works, and touch still functions... it just has a spiderweb on the left third of it from top to bottom.

I don't think sticking it in rice will help. My "new every two" deal is not for another year... then again, I was saying a while back that if something happened to this phone, that I would go back to a dumb phone to save money.

Good morning gents, normally a Sunday would bum me out knowing work was near but this is also one of 2 Sunday's I'm looking forward to, the next of course is in 35 days when we fly into Orlando

We had a cheese plate appetizer, and house salads and split a Pinot noir. DW had a filet and risotto for dinner while I had shrimp and grits. I had a amber bock with dinner (no draft beer). We had a Kahlua chocolate cake For dessert. After a 4 block walk to downtown and some time to sober up, it was time to walk back and drive home.

Alcohol induced anniversaries are the best.

Good to hear about the beach, but bad to hear about the phone. I think you're right, rice won't fix that one. Sometimes, they let you upgrade/renew early for an extra fee. Not sure if that is worth it to you or not.
