We on the other hand, did not get the rain that was forecast, and Im ok with that. Tonight is another night of the running club, so I fully expected to be exhausted again tomorrow after another grueling run.

Yesterday was a pretty good day, watched the lorax with the kids, good movie. Had to stay late for a meeting but still got out of here at 3.

Oh, had to fill up after my lunch with Don, new MPG for the Yaris: 38.6

The smell of the coffee maker in my office is a great way to start the day. Watched volleyball and track last night. Good wins. Girls went back to school today and were still happy. Youngest dd has a teacher first year out of college - makes me feel old. These next 55 days are going to creep extra slow.

Good morning guys. A big round of storms are coming through Central IN this morning. We need the rain. I hope Andy is getting some of this as well.

We got plenty of thunder and lightning. Less than .1" of the wet stuff.

But that is still more than we had all June and I still haven't mowed the yard since before fathers day.


Getting ready to get on a plane to visit one of my favorite cities (because of the history, not it's inhabitants).
I get to be a visitor in the USDA office in DC for the crop production report that comes out tomorrow morning. Should be very interesting, but I'll be there for about 24 hours and have no time to see any museums or memorials. Oh well. At least I'll have insider info to the grain markets before anyone else. To bad cell phones aren't allowed in the room!
