You and i must be related.

I just about did that. Missed the guy by inches.

on another day....
Went to a range (a covered one) with my brothers before my 2nd youngest brother went to Iraq. Lets just say a couple of shots.... It is a good thing the lights had shields. The one guy that wasn't with us got out of there sfter about 10 mins. My brothers thought it would be funny to mess with me while i was teeing off. That shot ricocheted and hit my brother in the knee.

At one work tournament I missed the Assistant DM by a couple of feet. Twice. Still couldn;t get me transferred. :rotfl2:

Hit a car in a parking lot, thank god it was a junker.

JUST missed a moving car going down a road paralell to a fairway.

Hit a house beside a golf course, thank goodness I missed the plate glass window.

My partner at another work tourney NAILED a Canada Goose square in the head with a line drive over a pond. Killed it like that. It was eerie to see, every goose and duck got the hell out of the pond to the bank, and just stared at it, it just floated there. Somehow it was told I took the shot, but I cleared the pond dammit! :rotfl2:

Never noticed it too bad when we went in October of 2010, but that was after Columbus Day or whatever our Thanksgiving is there. Won't touch it in July, so late August is our best bet till the schooling rights itself. Hot? Yes, but we had fun regardless.

it was the Wednesday of columbus day week. But, that was the only time. A cruise landed, and because of bad weather and MNSSHP nights, all the big travel groups went to Mk the same day.

Last time I dressed up. It was the first week of October (2009) and Florida was having a heat wave. Mid 90's and humid everyday. I tried my best Jack Sparrow impersonation

And I got to go home with Jasmine! :)
:

Bravo.

Anybody else notice the lack of Facebook group chat? Stinks!

I get over there every now and then.

Wimp. Try playing golf in August, in South Florida and in the afternoon. There are documented instances where golfers spontaneously combusted.

I'll take the wimp call, not going to try to golf in that heat, my game is bad enough. :crazy2::rotfl2:

2010? Some reason I think we were there the same time roughly. Don't think I was in the DDC yet...

How has everyones week been today??? It has been a long week ehre in anticipation of Friday when we leave for HHI...Work has been a Beverly this week and I am convinced that it will go into total meltodwn mode and blow off the side of the hospital next week. The natives are restless and a mutiny is at hand I do think. Thankful that I am leaving and wont get caught in the cross fire!!:cool1:

And another Princess riding in her chariot.

Let me just say, wool in August is not all that comfortable (and it's supposed to be 95 on Saturday). This reunion is DW's side. If you couldn't tell they have a Scottish heritage. Several years ago the reunion committee decided they should kick up a notch and have a Scottish themed reunion. So now we do golf and highland games.

Used to wear the kilt for the whole day. Now I've resorted to wearing it for only the 9 holes of golf and the games. Someone in the family made all of these things. Worst thing about them is no pockets. One of these days I'm going to find a pair of shorts in that tartan and just wear those. Up until last year I had like a 4 year streak going as caber toss champion. Last year some of the boys miraculously turned in to men and the streak is over. Maybe I can get it back.

OK, we have to see a picture of you in a kilt tossing a caber. And go out and beat those kids this year. I can also see where the no pocket thing could be a pain.

Any of you dads into cigars? I had dinner with a friend the other night and had one called Windy City Acid. It was pretty good. I also had a glass of port for the first time which may be something I'm going to have start sampling. The 2 things paired very well together.

Years ago an older gentleman I respected turned me on to the pairing of ports and cigars. An enlightening experience.

there is enough bourbon. But, no cash offer has been made so probably won't happen.

We still have a while before MNSSHP. Suggest you get your measurements taken for the costume.

I used that as an excuse every time I played.

Evening guys :thumbsup2

Evening Paul. Tomorrow I am signing up the Pirate Princess for either the Disney half or full marathon. She wants to decide tonight which race to try. Probably the full.

Have agreat trip Steve :thumbsup2

I have an open spot in a foursome on August 25th if you want to drive up. It's me, Carl and my Father in Law. With the new straight DVC Member discounts (vs the old way of buying the golf badge) it actually makes it semi-affordable.

I don't know if anyone has plans to golf during the convention. We'll only be there a few days, so I doubt I will.

Have to drop the kid off at school around then. She starts on the 23rd and it might be a hike to get there on the 25th. How long are you guys going to be down there? It might be worth a drive by to say hey.

Sorry to hear about the meltdown, glad to hear that you will be tucked safely away at HHI.

If there is a mutiny, maybe you can use this guy.

I hear he can't run very far though.

Talk about a hole in one!

2011. We were there in 2010,but no where near as crowded as that one day.

Will share a cigar and bourbon one day with you.

I used to do that crazy stuff for beer in the past. It'll cost you more now.

Run her against Tim and Barry.

You'd have thunk we'd have birdied that hole...:confused3

Yeah 2010 didn;t seem all that busy save our last day, crazy crowds at MK. It was a late October saturday, the Saturday before we had half of MK done by 1pm plus wait for a haircut.

Considering it started with a meeting with an IRS agent... it has only improved. Have a good time on your trip.

Does anyone watch the tv show, "Raising Hope" on Fox?

Funniest show I've seen in a long time.

That is one of the best shows around

Hey guys, back from Key Largo and am not a happy camper. Wish I could stay there for a while longer. Guess it is back to reality.

Welcome back, CJ!

Good afternoon guys

Afternoon, Sean!

I'll have to check it out. It was on a flight I was on last week. Looked good.
