Get better Brian! I hope they figure out what's going on soon.

Not fun. We’re keeping you in the prayer chain down here.

May the medical folks figure this out soon and get you out of there quick…
people get sick in hospitals ya know.

Hope they figure it out quick. Prayers.

The Former Canadian Brian - prayers that they find whatever it is, you get better, and can get back to work. Well, maybe not that last one so much, but certainly the first two.

Thanks guys. Feeling better today but still waiting on the Docs to confirm what we don't know.

Happy Monday.

Well, after staying home with the kids on Friday because Evan was throwing up all night Thursday, I caught it on Friday evening. I'll spare you the details, but it was not pretty out of either end.
We're all better now though and hoping that no one else catches it before we leave on Friday.

Take care and stay healthy this week. Remember its a MAN LAW, no illness a week before vacation.

Thank you everyone for the thoughts. I am very glad that everyone is okay, that it appears that there are no injuries. I freaked on the bus, when letting DW know I was on the way, that Audrey was in the ambulence:scared1: They checked her over, and I'm going to do the three-hour check through the night to precaution for concussions, since the side air-bag deployed and knocked into her. She hasn't had any pain, but there was a little brusing on her shoulder where the belt was.
As for the car, gotta wait till Monday afternoon or so to find out it's fate, when an adjuster etc can have a go at it. DDW got the rental, a dodge Nitro, meh....we might still go with the Marineland plan Monday, we'll see how we feel tomorrow night.
Jo and I just gotta get outta the little funk we're in now. We had finally started turning a corner in a lot of things, includung $$ and might have been set back kinda bites. We really do want a house someday. Other then that things are fine.

Happy to hear that no one was physically hurt and everyone is OK! Good luck with the adjuster.

We were at Marine Land a couple of weeks ago. First time to Canada with the younglings, DD9 & DS12. They had a great time. We spent 3 nights by the Falls and took a day to head over and see the park.

Peanut Buttering Beverly.....

DW was in an accident an hour ago or so...they seem all fine, paramedics checked them out. I ran home and saw the damage. If I'd been in the car, I'd of been banged up good. Apparently the guy ran through the stop sign and got us in the passenger side door. Kids are pretty shaken up, I brought then home (it was only a block away where it happened) Jo is still dealing with the towing details etc.

Just when it looked like we were comming out ahead.....

I'm glad everyone was OK. That's the most important thing. I know the hassle of dealing with insurance and the loss of the car is a problem, but hopefully the other guy's insurance will "make you whole".

Hello again guys.

Posting from my hospital bed. I got admitted last night since my fever came back after being gone for 4 days so the Dr.s want to run the gamut on me to see if they can figure out what's going on.

I've got an Infectious Disease specialist, Pulminologist (for my pneumonia) as well as the regular attendings who are great. Everyone is baffled and I'm bored. Still getting antibiotics via IV as well as orally. Fever is mostly gone (99 range) but just waiting on tomorrow to see what's next.

Hate the waiting game, but glad everyone is trying hard to figure it out. Fortunately we live only a couple of blocks away so DW and DDs were able to come visit a couple of times today (without getting too bored here).

Watching the Olympics closing ceremonies for lack of other options right now.

I hope you're feeling better soon, and it's great that you got some family visits.

Just got a call from FIL... DW's aunt just passed away... :(

I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm pretty new here, but have read through most of the posts. Get well soon! I hope they get you up and out quickly. :magnify:

Coasting through the week. Airplane leaves for Florida on Friday evening. :hyper::hyper:

Jealous! We're about 6 weeks out. Stay healthy this week, and have an awesome trip. :thumbsup2

They had a great time? In Canada? Are you sure about that? No one has a great time in Canada.

:lmao:

Yup. My son Evan just wanted to leave the US....well he wanted to go to France, but that wasn't in the cards so we decided north to Canada was better than south to Mexico in July! :rotfl2: Both kids love animals and nature!

I don't look around the disboards as often right now.

Noticed your post. Thoughts and prayers sending your way.

All right dads,

I posted alot of ringtones over on Fbook. They should all work, as I was able to import them into my iphone.

It's just like being at a Red Sox game. :rotfl2:

Unless they're playing in Baltimore! :rotfl2:

Fenway Park is a tremendous place to catch a ballgame, regardless of how the Red Sox are doing that season (even though it's usually very well, save for this season, but I digress).

Camden Yards (or as we call it, Fenway South) is as well. Just a terrific ballpark you got there Randall.

Canada has one ball park, which is also a nice place to catch a game. The rest of the country though is brutally inhospitable and incapable of hosting major league baseball these days. Or so it would seem.

Just thought I'd clear that up. :thumbsup2

That's because there are no star Colts players to draft. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Norm - the cake looks good. Any left?
:

Thanks for not posting pics. As for the cake, it did survive the night, but not much longer after sunrise. Hope you're better for your trip.

I have a good time in Le Cellier. Does that count?

So, I'm flipping thru channels and there is a sitcom with a girl delivering a baby. So, it is actor, shot from waste up, in perfect make-up saying silly things. I ask my dd (8) if she is going to have her husband in the delivery room. She tells me that she doesn't want her baby to come out of "there" and points between her legs and says she wants it to come out of her belly like mom. DW had c-section with both kids.

I think she knows way too much. I'm building a bunker in the backyard to lock her away.

Monday evening ownage.

DD is totally unaware of the Disneyland trip in 7 weeks. It's hard not to bust out the plans. We are both cars fans and Disney fairies fans (quiet paul and Brian and norm)
Never pegged for a Cars fan.
