Made good progress on getting the last liter of wine down to where it needs to be to keep on the new schedule for family arrival.

Got some cleaning done, made it to church and drafted a polite response to an email dealing with politics at work.

I would say I am ready for the week to start so I can get some rest, but I'm expecting a call from the ivory tower this week. Good news is my Dept Chair agrees with me on the issue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-zCmO3KAkE

This tv channel(Destination America) is definitely run by a Disney Dad.

Tonight's lineup:

7:00 - 8:00 - Undiscovered Disney Parks
8:00 - 9:00 - Walt Disney World Resort: Behind the Scenes
9:00 - 10:00 - United States of Bacon
10:00 - 11:00 - United States of Burgers

I know where I'll be tonight.

Hey guys long day, and first break I had all day. Anyone have a preference to shoot with canon dslr cameras?

I use mine both above and under water so have not invested in a DSLR. The housings alone can be a couple of grand or more. Plus underwater cameras have a tendency to become disposable cameras. Ask my daughter.

Since she lost mine, I bought a G12. Point and shoot but also full manual mode. Plus it shoots video with just a flip of a knob. Loved the Cannons I owned. Both cameras and housings. Heard good things about the T2i but haven't played with one.

I downloaded a couple of videos along with most of the bazillion pics I took on the vacation. Here is one taken with the above mentioned camera during our Manta Ray night dive. Magnificent animals. There were about 20-25 of them swimming around us. They measured 11-15 feet across. Coolest dive I have done.

no, I DON'T know about the noon haircut... I guess I need to research this more.

It is not well known, but a little after noon, most likely the Dapper Dans will show up at the Barber Shop and sing a few songs, nothing like sitting in the chair as a front row set:thumbsup2, I always get the noon spot, the last 3 times they showed up:thumbsup2

Good lineup.

I like the captain! Maybe Malibu if there is nothing else.

I always drank Bacardi, and never really got into rum. I don't think I have ever tried the Captain. May need to try it. Do you drink it neat, straight, rocks, or mixed? Rum and coke is simple enough. Mixed with anything else?

Home from softball. Another crushing win, 15-2. This time, Charly did get a base hit, was hit in by team, and hit a sacrifice to score one of her teammates (although not intentional because she doesn't know what a sac is). Our semifinal game is Wednesday and Championship game Thursday. If we lose th semi-final game, since it is double eliminatin, then we would have to play again Wed night, and if we won that game, would play the same team from Wed night and beat them twice on Thursday.

get a call from my wife today about 11am, says her drivers side window on her 02 Dodge Grand Caravan went down by itself and she can't get it up:crazy2:, get home around 4 and look at it, motor is working but you can hear the wire is broke, time to rip the door apart, the wire was broke and all over, went to Auto Zone and they had the part, needed a Motor & Regulator assembly, So around 5 I'm ripping everything apart, let me tell you its a real pita:scared: Took about a hour and a half (not bad for a Ford guy:thumbsup2) Happy to say everything is working and job is finished:thumbsup2, Never did that type of assembly and hope I never have to again

That lineup has made me want to go back now...to the point of checking airline prices.....alas...no vacation time left after the trip to Hilton Head for Shari! Uuuugh!!!

Seriously, the bacon adventure might be something I weave into a Disneyland trip. My daughter is watching this and asking for bacon grilled cheese now

Evening Gents,

had another busy day. Volunteered at the beach volleyball tournament again, hopefully our charity will come out of it with a good amount of money. I even had DS help out today and he volunteered for the dunk tank. I think the scorching temparature may have helped him make up his mind.

We just finished up our birthday/anniversary bbq about an hour ago. Some nice planked salmon, lemon chicken and maple-garlic sausage topped of with some great salads and a few cold beer. Man I'm full!!

Wow I love that video. Was that with a G12? That was something. Where did you do that night dive at? I might just have to watch it a few more times.

I like simple rum and cokes, but I do every now and then like them mixed.

I do, I do.

Well maybe you can tell me also in your words, is a T2i worth picking up if I can get one with an 18-55mm for 250.00 Slightly used. I know 18-55mm is a pretty much crap lens. I will buy a 18-200mm for it perhaps.

Also on a separate note. When is the DISDads Meet around March 1-9th? I believe it is at Old Key West Resort? And what times?

Thanks.

Donald

Hey guys.. hope you had a good weekend. Our 2 day trip on the Magic is over... our first taste of Disney cruising. I ended up booking another cruise while onboard. I don't think we will be going on the date that I booked but I did get 10% off, a $100 shipboard credit, and only had to pay a 10% deposit instead of 20%. I think we won't be cruising till DS is at least 3-4.

Here are a few teaser pics (taken with my cell).. I have to DL the pics from my camera.
