Emma's Dad is who you've been patiently awaiting... to assign you your DDC #.

Ohh ok, Thank you for letting me know!!!

Maybe I can get my digits when he has the time of course. Thanks again for showing me around and stuff. I have been exploring the whole DISDads area.

Hello all:

Just wanted to intro myself. I just got off the Fantasy a few weeks back with goherd1028 and he invited to join in on all the fun here.

My name is Karl and I've been dragging my family off to do the Disney thing for a few years now. Can't wait to meet everyone here.

Welcome!!

I am ok with unplugging, but I like to have the option. Enjoy the cabin.

I like the option, but I know I'd be hard pressed to stay away. The TV thing is easy to stay away from. I expect a rain-day at some point, so the DVDs will be invaluable. Also have a retro Atari system my brother got for me I might bring, for some old-school gaming that the girls would be able to get the hang of quick. A lot of time will be at the lake or pool, campfires etc (providing there's no fire ban in place) Planning a day-trip drive through Algonquin Park to look for Moose/Bears (we've seen moose every trip). Lots of grandparent time (they head home before we do though, Dad'll have chemo). I enojoy being a bit disconnected from the world (I do like to know the weather, so I'll use her phone for that) I hope to do some reading too, want to get into The Hobbit in preps for the movie at the end of the year.

Happy Birthday, Matt!

Welcome to the club, Karl! I guess we can let you in, even though you were referred by Steve. We'll give you a chance, you can't be all that bad.

Sunday Ownage.

You can fill out the appropriate forms for your referral... and pick up your Dole Whip at either the Poly, or Aloha Isle...

There is also a form for a snipe hunt.

Hey guys.

Finally have habitable temps around here again. In fact we were able to open the windows all last night and get some air flow through the house again.
.

Still super hot here.

You are Donald, Emma's Dad is Don. :flower3:

OK Cool. I wasn't confused or anything. Thanks though:worship:

Yes, that Don assigns numbers, procrastinates on completing trip reports, and is installing my kegerator.

Hey Norm... I was just going through my 2009 Disney pics, and photopass.

Over 3000 in total.

Want me to post 'em all?

:rotfl2: :lmao:

I'm surprised you haven't already. I have my photos of Disney trips going back to 2005, and if I ever scan 2000 in, then I would have them as well. Feel fee to post them in that last person to post thread.

Beer was a good idea - nice way to end the day. The Spidey movie was enjoyable - parts of it were non-canon, but it was still a good movie. I'll go see it again in the theater, if I can swing it, and I'll pick it up when it comes out.

I'll see it when it comes out on DVD. I don't go to movies very often though, unless it is something like a new Disney princess or the Avengers.

It's nice to enjoy scenery like this while drinking coffee on a lovely Sunday morning.

Nice shot or nice miss?

Actually I had a better signal for the I-Phone there than I do outside my office. :rotfl2:

For a couple more hours. Severe weather on the way.
:

Of course you got better phone reception. The storms are north of us now.

The only hunting I do now is with a camera, besides I don't think the neighbours would appreciate the sound of gunshots on a quiet Sunday morning.

But, isn't that the only way? Who wants to get up at 3:00 AM when you can shoot one from your back porch.

Federer won at Wimbledon today. They showed the match on ESPN and are now replying it on ABC. (Hope I didn't ruin it for you.). I think is is now the men's record for Wimbledon singles championships. But, why didn't this get played on local, network TV? It's like moving the second half of NASCAR season to cable TV and Monday Night Football to ESPN. It seems like the corporate mouse is securing the sports viewing in its bid to disrupts th local, free, network TV.

No posts in awhile? It has finally started raining here. No storms.

We had another round of storms here a bit ago and the interstate is shut down due to power lines down across it. It has gotten to the point that when you hear thunder youi pray for your electric to stay on :rotfl2:. The Couty Fair started yesterday...you can have drought for 51 weeks and the week of the Fair you will get rian every day :lmao:

After 2 long days of driving we've finally made it to Kissimmee. Only spending 2 days at the parks. Tomorrow is Epcot day!

Looks like I'll be seeing the Doc this week, my back is acting up, I was expecting this considering all the ice I slugged around in the last week:crazy2:

Sorry to hear about your back. I thought of you this past week when all the power was out here...there was no ice to be had!!

We were under t-storm warning with lightening, but no damage. Temps fell to 77. That was a great and welcome relief.

Good for the rain, better for no storms

Amen.

Awesome news. We only do every other day at the parks, so sounds good to me. Have a great trip.

Sorry to hear it. As a chronic back pain sufferer, I feel your pain. Ask your doctor about PT, and if your insurance won't cover it, ask your doctor for some exercises. I learned a few that help me, unless you lift a 80 lb kid off th couch without warming up.
