I am proud to say... I don't even get that.... I am sure it was some kind of insult, but looks like that one backfired. :lmao:
What??? :scared1:

Don't they have Saved by the Bell in Canada??? They're probably showing re runs in third world countries these days.

I guess that actually explains a lot.

Only checking the last page today. Busy day. We went on an ABD trip to the windward sided of Oahu. Were here is brown, there it is a lush tropical green. One of the things on the trip was a 2 hour horse riding thing. I am walking funny now. The whirlpool tub is going to feel great later on.
Sounds like fun... except for that horse riding part. I'd rather ride something that has tires, a motor, and not a mind of it's own.

My sisters have taken over the old cattle barn at my dad's house and it is being overrun by hayburners. I'm not exactly a horse fan.

Strange...I woke around 3 feeling very stressed out for no good reason. Rest of the night was pretty much a wipeout. Worse of all, I think that I'm pegged to unload the skids today in the store, which we cannot get cooled at all, so I might be in for a long day. Hopefuly the load isn't too bbig, I can get most of it dome in the AM before it gets nasty.

At least you get some exercise. I know it is not fun, but neither is sitting at my desk all day.

UPDATE: The power has been restored! :cool1:

Now, anybody need some firewood? Any tree that I have laying on the ground is yours for the taking. Just cut it and take it while I make sure that my air condition unit is working properly after all this time of being off.
...

Congrats on the power. I would take that wood off your hands if you were closer.

We've had a few friends and family go and they talk about hiking Diamond Head. I have no willingness to do that. I'd pick Yoga on the the beach, because it is on the beach. Sounds like a great trip. I was hoping to be able to do Aulani without a car. Is there enough within walking distance?

Yes, haven't you seen the show Ice Road Truckers?
.

Yeah, but it can be a beverly getting the moose to pull the grader and asphalt-layer.

We use hover craft so there is no need for roads.

Wow. All ice roads navigated by truckers and moosies. Sounds awful. Hover craft sounds cool.

We had planned on going to the zoo today but 100+ degrees tells me that is a bad idea. Looks like we will head to the Y for some swimming :rotfl2:

Yeah, off here as well and had planned a zoo day. The dds were begging to stay home with the heat. I guess we will.

!
Thankful today is Friday. Have so many side projects working right now that I can't wait until the weekend so I can work on them..wait what?

I gave up weekend projects a decade ago. DW wants these projects done and I want to stay within our household budget. She over spends so I don't do projects. It works for us.

No takers?

It won't be 100 degrees forever...

Winter is coming...

Glad the power is back! Can you burn that wood in a gas fireplace? :confused3

Still suffering, I see. ;)

Tell them you are returning for extra hydrogen in Louisville water.

:lmao::rotfl2: That sign still cracks me up.

Yeah, but it can be a beverly getting the moose to pull the grader and asphalt-layer.

:lmao::rotfl: The moose keep breaking the shovels when they lean on them.

You missed talk about dreams of moving to a WDW, Barry's poop jokes, owning and running a restaurant, surprising children for vacation, photography equipment, Apple vs PC, fireworks, heat, family matters, a lot of other great stuff, and of course, a shot at Don's missing trip report. Don also agreed to come install a Kegerator for me at the house - I'm sure that is what it said.:

Thanks for the Executive Summary. Saves a lot of time, though I could use a bit of information on all of that other than the poop jokes.

If I could I would get a job piloting a boat or running the trains at WDW but it isn't going to happen.

DW wants to see the falls, so would have to head that way. I have never driven a car in another country. Does Canada have roads? :lmao:

I prefer the Canadian side, but NY does have Old Fort Niagara. If you are into history at all it is worth the trip.

Glad you got power, but didn't need the reminder of winter.

Good morning guys.

Good evening David.

Good morning everyone!

‘Morning all…

Going to be a long day. Been at my desk since 6:00, and I’ll be here until at least 6:00 this evening (likely longer). Wouldn’t be so bad but I just put my car in the shop as well to get the A/C fixed, so I can’t even sneak out of the building for lunch.

UPDATE: The power has been restored! :cool1:

This is good news. Y’all have been having a rough go of it for a while now.

As for the fire wood…
That’s not going to be a fun job.

We use hover craft so there is no need for roads.

I suspect that one of those would be rather helpful around here as well.
I could ignore the traffic on the highways and just go cross country.

What??? :scared1:

Don't they have Saved by the Bell in Canada??? They're probably showing re runs in third world countries these days.

They probably do, but I’ve never seen it either. I’ve heard of it. It’s one of those shows made for the kids and tweens that was airing way back when I was in my 30’s. It was unwatchable then, it’s unwatchable now.

Pups….

I gave up weekend projects a decade ago. DW wants these projects done and I want to stay within our household budget. She over spends so I don't do projects. It works for us.

So, either she doesn’t do much nagging about those “projects” or you are able to simple not here her.
Either way… you’re in a good place.

"Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads!"

BackFuture59.jpg

I’m glad someone pick up on that one.
It would have been a shame to miss such an obvious set up.

Just like the date they go forward to in the second one is June 27th 2012. Where the heck is my damn hoverboard??? I am always misplacing it!

You’ve got three more years to find that hoverboard. That image is a hoax; in the first two films they traveled in 30 year increments. From 85 back to 55 and then from 85 forward to 2015.

I still don’t think we’ll have hoverboards in 2015, but it could happen.

:headache: Brutal way to spend a Friday.

How do you know it was unwatchable if you never watched it? :confused3

Notice that I'm asking how you know, not arguing with your point. :lmao::rotfl:

Hey Ferb, I know what we're gonna do today!

How do you know it was unwatchable if you never watched it? :confused3

:lmao:

That’s a fair jab (and a good catch for such a young whippersnapper).
Let me rephrase that a might.

I’ve never see more then a few minutes of any one episode of the thing. When you’re flipping through the channels, it’s hard not to run across at least a smidgen of nearly every piece of junk being offered (and most of it is). When I would run across that show, I could stand about a minute or two at the most. It usual took less time than that for some part of the dialogue to drive me away. :crazy2:

Notice that I'm asking how you know, not arguing with your point. :lmao::rotfl:

A good decision.
Some battles come with insurmountable handicaps built in. :rotfl2:

Hey Ferb, I know what we're gonna do today!

But this sounds like an excellent idea.
:thumbsup2

Wow, well good to know about the image. Occupy Bacon on Facebook was the original source. I think we may never have flying cars, that would put the airlines out of business not to mention there would be a whole new level to car accidents. Remember wait to text while flying!!!

Quick poll... who wins this match-up... in a fight to the death.

Donald's TRON-Stitch Avatar vs. Nate's Jedi-Stitch Avatar.

:lmao:

Oh... and Jedi Stitch tried the Jedi mind trick... didn't work... something about McAfee???

Ugh. Well, given the temperatures, you might as well be inside anyway.

This is the same feeling I get when I switch over to watch the Phillies' bullpen. :sad2:

Better you heard it from us then from one of your pals, or worse yet, you’re youngen.

As for flying cars… I’d like to say that I for ‘em, but having watched kids (and many adults for that matter) fail miserably at successfully dealing with two dimensions… I ain’t so sure that offering up a z-axis is such a good idea.

BTW, I missed where you joined up. Welcome sir, we’re glad to have you aboard.
I also like the user-name, care to elaborate on its origin
(or did I miss that from an earlier conversation).

That’s a good start.
Now if we could just replace that blower with something more like a reflective-gravity generator, we’d be in business.
:thumbsup2

I like ‘em both, but I believe that in the right hands, a light saber may be able to inflict a bit more damage.

Probable so… :headache:

I feel for ya’ there.

It doesn’t take much effort to jump on the bandwagon of a team that has so much money that there’s no plausible excuse for ever losing a game.

But being loyal to organizations with a reputation for breaking hearts and spending a good bit of time struggling… that requires a true fanatic.
(Or a fool… your choice. I tend to land more often on the fool side of that equation ).

You know Rob, for a kid, you sure talk old! :lmao:

Morning dads!

Hope everyone is staying cool - the heat is expected to break here later tonight, so tomorrow it should merely be uncomfortably warm, instead of "it hurts to breathe." Been hiding in the house - if I could, I would be buying the inventor of AC a beer. Since I can't, I have been doing the next best thing, and hoisting a few in honor of his memory.

DW approved of my plan to move somewhere cooler (like, say, Orlando) - but our bank account did not approve. And, for the record, if you actually tell the bank, during the loan process, that you intend to skip out on the rather substantial loan and go live at Disney World, they won't give it to you.

Not only is there the light saber, but all those other hands to do force thingy stuff.
