Now, I'm pretty sure that you ain’t all that far ahead of me,
but it's not every day I get called a “kid”, so I’ll take it and run
(or should I say “hobble”).

I'm older than Playboy, McDonald's and Disneyland!

I'm also dumber than dirt, but smarter than rocks, they're pretty dense!

My Father was born on Krypton, but all I got from him was supervision!

Quick poll... who wins this match-up... in a fight to the death.

Donald's TRON-Stitch Avatar vs. Nate's Jedi-Stitch Avatar.

:lmao:

Oh... and Jedi Stitch tried the Jedi mind trick... didn't work... something about McAfee???
I have a hard time going against the Jedi. Even McAfee can't protect a computer from a lightsaber. :yoda: :darth: :badpc:

This is the same feeling I get when I switch over to watch the Phillies' bullpen. :sad2:
Then maybe you should be watching the Reds bullpen and the Cuban Missile. :thumbsup2

I feel for ya’ there.

It doesn’t take much effort to jump on the bandwagon of a team that has so much money that there’s no plausible excuse for ever losing a game.

But being loyal to organizations with a reputation for breaking hearts and spending a good bit of time struggling… that requires a true fanatic.
(Or a fool… your choice. I tend to land more often on the fool side of that equation ).
Wait a minute... Is this supposed to be a shot across the bow at Mark, or a sympathetic statement? I can see both of these statements being completely relevant to the teams Mark loves. :lmao::rotfl: :rotfl2:

DW approved of my plan to move somewhere cooler (like, say, Orlando) - but our bank account did not approve. And, for the record, if you actually tell the bank, during the loan process, that you intend to skip out on the rather substantial loan and go live at Disney World, they won't give it to you.
I guess it is time to find a new lender and leave out that minor detail then. :thumbsup2:rotfl:

That was going to be my plan. Foiled again.

If you had purchased stock in all three companies when they first opened, the you would be a genius and über millionaire.

BTW, I missed where you joined up. Welcome sir, we’re glad to have you aboard.
I also like the user-name, care to elaborate on its origin
(or did I miss that from an earlier conversation.

Thanks for the welcome. Glad to be here to help where I can. As for my user name. It was created back from a former email address I used to have that originally came from the tuner car, yes I had one of them bumble bee sounding cars a while back. First part of the name is from the Venom nitrous system I had in it, and the second part is from my 2000 civic hatch I have still just sits in the drive way as a project once again. Here is a pic for whoever wants to look at it.

If you can use lightsabers, you can also use the Force. So that's like a double-whammy.

Vs. the Phillies' Gasoline Alley? I do get to see a lot of spectacular blow-ups.

Well, despite the recent success, the previous 100+ years for the Phillies was full of abject misery and failure. So I think it's safe to say there's no bandwagon in Philly sports.

Well, that was my suggestion if you want to avoid watching spectacular blow-ups. It is kind of exciting to actually feel like a lead in the 7th or 8th inning is pretty secure with guys like Marshall, Ondrusek, Chapman and now Bray sitting in the bullpen. And we don't even have the big off-season acquisition of the damaged goods from the Phillies.:lmao::rotfl:

They've had a few blow-ups, but that comes with the territory. I feel more comfortable with these guys back there than I ever did with Cordero.

I really wasn't referring to the bandwagon part. Philadelphia fans have a reputation for many things, but loyalty is one of them. I was more referring to the part about spending so much money that there's no plausible excuse for ever losing a game. This pertains more to the Eagles and their debacle last year, but the Phillies are spending some cash these days too. :lmao:

:dance3:

That would put the difference at just about nine years.
Like I said, not all that much difference (compared to most of the pups around here).

GET OFF MY LAWN!

Cool… that ‘spaines it.
Post all the pictures you want (it's one of our most treasured past-times).

I’ll give him first crack at that one…

There ya’ go.
I was certainly taking a shot at a particular unnamed team, but it wasn’t the Phillies. They may not be the poorest, but they also aren’t the 800,000 pound gorilla with both the cash and the ego to buy up everything in sight.

Would this unnamed team happen to call a certain city, that you have yet to complete a TR about, home? :confused3 :lmao:

Ok, for the iPhone/iPad and Android users out there...

I got an e-mail from Disney promoting a new app earlier this week. And because I'm a sucker for things promoted by Disney, I checked it out and spent 99 cents to buy the app. It was "Where's my Perry?"

Cool game, but basically the same exact thing as "Where's my Water?" if you've ever played that. There's a free version of that one out there if you aren't familiar with it and just want to check it out. I think it is worth the money to get the Perry one though, just because you get to hear Perry's theme music, Doofenschmirtz and Major Monogram while you're sitting around killing time at work. Lots of fun.:thumbsup2

Can you imagine if Madson was healthy? That'd be a formidable lineup.

Well, I figured lately the Phils have been the Yankees of the National League. I'm just amazed that everybody could see that Howard and Utley were going to miss a lot of time, and yet they seemed completely unprepared for it.

As for the Eagles...stupid Vince Young. :headache:

That's my yard, in this heat.

Would this unnamed team happen to call a certain city, that you have yet to complete a TR about, home? :confused3 :lmao:

Now THAT's how you take a shot at your nemesis. Well done. :rotfl2:

Disney is hurting for money. Buy more.

Ah, what can I say, I was pretty young when I was born! :lmao:

What a coincidence. :crazy2:

Mmmmmmm… could be…

I deserve that shot though. I decided to actually finish the older of the two first, but since that is done, I’m now short on excuses. I need to get that one back up off the ground in the very near future.

Now THAT's how you take a shot at your nemesis.

Yes, yes it is. :headache:

Well done. :rotfl2:

And… yes, yes it was.

In my own defense….

Errrr….

Ahwww, never mind, I’m not worth defending in this instance.

Boredom is slowly sucking my will to live.... Where's Fed when you need a tactical extraction from work?

Morning dads!

Hope everyone is staying cool - the heat is expected to break here later tonight, so tomorrow it should merely be uncomfortably warm, instead of "it hurts to breathe." Been hiding in the house - if I could, I would be buying the inventor of AC a beer. Since I can't, I have been doing the next best thing, and hoisting a few in honor of his memory.

That would be John Gorrie. The person credited with inventing AC has a statute in the Hall of Congress. Each state gets two and Florida picked him for one of them. Wonder why. Check http://www.aoc.gov/cc/art/nsh/gorrie.cfm for more info.

Last full day at Aulani. Pretty sad. At least we have a few days at Disneyland coming up. The vacation has flown by. Crash has a day at the spa. I don't know what I am going to do other than take some pictures. Maybe lounge by the pool bar. Life sucks.

fell behind again the last couple of days.

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July!! We had the in-laws here for a couple of days, a little BBQ, and the neighborhood was setting off lots of fireworks as usual. FIL brought a package of fountains that we set off in the backyard. I think it took a half an hour to go through them, while the rest of the neighborhood was setting off Grucci quality stuff all night long.

Anyway, it was back to work last night, the in-laws departed this afternoon, and our attention can return to getting everything in order to leave for WDW...

in 23 Days!!
