There's a DVC dis dad thread here with some info, and of course, on the other DVC boards. If you have any questions, post there or here, and we'll be glad to answer them.

I may just ask you sometime to answer some ?s. Maybe in a few days! Msn, yahoo messager, google plus etc. Just joined DISDads Facebook!

Relax. I always have beer and wine in the house. I had makers mark last time, so I'm thinking of Woodford reserve. I've never tried Basil's, but I don't like old grand dad, yet they are supposed to be different.

We have a fairly new restaurant with a bourbon bar. I'm trying to get DW to go with me. No such luck so far.

Never had the Woodford Reserve or Basil's. BURBON BAR? May be worth a detour driving back from dropping the kid off at college. Of course, that would be a big detour. But you have a BURBON BAR!

Who does laminated agendas anymore? That is what the smartphone is for.

Believe it or not, there are many people (like my parents and in-laws) who do not have smart phones and never will. They are still afraid of technology.

If they wanted, I would do it for them, but I don't have to because we will be with them. All us young 'uns have the Lines app on our iphones.

Lol I use my iPhone 4s and iPad 3 for my agenda. But I do see where your coming from on this. My grand parent and my mom and dad would never use a smart phone. Lol

Congrats on 100...

I guess I'm one of those who will never have a smart phone, when we meet ask to see my phone you will get a good chuckle:lmao:, I'm very old school and find technology as the main problem to the economy:confused3

I have many friends who feel the same exact way.

I actually want one of the old cell phones - the ones that were the same size and weight as a brick.

Mine isn't one of those but I did say I wanted the one that does the least, when my wife and I got our last phones hers was about $200 if you had to replace it so we took the $4.95 insurance a month on it, ( and it's been replaced twice already) when it came down to mine the girl said you don't need insurance your phone is $20 new if you have to replace it ( still have the same phone) :rotfl2:

Happy fouth to you guys as well!

Today also comes with sad news. The A/C went out on the wifes car.and a new compressor is required to fix it, to the tune of 1200$. I dont think the disney trip will survive this one.

Morning folks..

Been under the weather, so took yesterday off. Bleh.

Now officially joining this thread, referred by twokids0204 over at the introduce yourselves thread. I would like to join DIS Dad’s Club Member as well. Thanks my friend, again!

Welcome!

Well, the Canadian is finally out of the house. The Crown Royal is gone. So, the burning question is what do I buy now?

I have really wanted to try Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo tequila, but it might be dangerous for me to be drinking straight tequila, especially that amount. I really like the Grey Goose vodka. Or, I could go with some Hennessy cognac, a favorite. Or, the best drink in the world - ky bourbon - maybe Woodford Reserve or try my relative's blend - Basil Hayden.

Any thoughts?

One of each.

Wow, I sell al of that too.

Happy 4th July all you crazy Americans you....I hope you guys have a blast (not literally :lmao: ) and try to keep cool. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Can't make it without mine. I have all my work and personal stuff in there. Sure,it's fun to check DISboards, but I need the calendar with all my dds activities to find out when and where I have to take them.

Bad news on both fronts. I tend to not use my AC unless DW and dds are in the car. Hope you can still make the Disney trip.

One of each. .

That's a good plan but a lot of cash. It will probably be the bourbon or the cognac. I can't imagine sipping on tequila after a day of work.
